Can't find fault.
The hotel was right in the middle of the town very easy acess
Like the location
Lack of plug sockets to use in the room The tv was very small Bath was dirty n scum on it Bathroom floor was dirty
Staff ... excellent wifi through out .. excellent breakfast
Friendly and knowledgeable staff; comfort; location, near to pubs and coffee shops, and also de city centre
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Check out was 12pm and we sleeped in, Noone rang to hunt us out of room like in other hotels which was much appreciated. Will definitely be back. Well done to the staff we had a lovely trip!
Nothing to complain
central to town. good location
the room was very small, a bit dated with a small portable tv, when turned on the sound was awful ranging from high to low on various occasions without any interference from ourselves. curtains had holes in them and looked awful.
Room was soo cold when we got there! Had to phone downstairs to get hearing turned on! Throw on bed was dirty on all beds!! Sheets looked clean!!! Friend lost purse with money in bar and staff said it was never handed in !!
good location, and very quiet
Dining room closed, possibly due to very few people staying there.
Hotel is in the very city center, everything is reachable in few minutes of walk. Good Irish breakfast, but the continental was a little poor. Room quite large and comfortable.
The hotel on the whole looks a bit old-fashioned. Furniture should be renewed.
Friendly staff happy to help. Location was ideal, slap bang in town. Plenty of bars, food and pubs local.
What's not to like?
when went to get dinner on 2 nd night wastold no dinner had no dinner booked I know just though dining roo m wud be open did not know til 4 30 one lady had a bad hip and due to go for operation that wae why we had the break so annoyecd
Very central to shops, restaurants and pubs.
Sleeping to the front of the hotel, a lot of noise from the street below. I checked to see if the window was open, it was not.
Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Free Parking.
Wi Fi worked in the lobby but not very well in the room.
Very friendly staff, very central to the town. I would advise anyone to stay here.
While meeting friends for a night out in Sligo we decided to stay in the heart of the city. The Sligo City Hotel was by far the poorest hotel we have ever stayed in. Rooms were old, unclean and very basic. We paid 90 for the room for one night no breakfast included, when getting a drink the next morning thr barman charged my partner 5.60 for 2 cans of coke! This was unscceptable, Extortion and by far the worst experience we have had in a hotel.. Safe to say I will never return nor will I advise others to stay.
Break fast was very poor quality.
We had to go to reception to ask someone to get us a drink in main bar which was inconvenient
Location Comfy bed
We stayed in a family room in the Sligo City Hotel, having travelled to Sligo for a family event. The reception staff were very friendly and the room was perfectly spacious for four. Car parking was secure and restricted to residents only. A very good wifi service was available throughout the hotel. A very convenient location - we were worried that it might be noisy in the middle of town, but our sleep was undisturbed.
On arrival I was allocated a suite at no extra charge. Spacious room with excellent facilities. Overall I was very happy with my stay.
A bit noisy at night, but nothing too serious.
Wifi was great, rooms were really comfortable and clean, housekeeping was exceptional
The cost was quite expensive but I booked last minutes so that's to be expected
The breakfast was average, fry was abit dry as it looked like it had been sitting there since early in the morning when we got to it at 11am. Room view pretty bleak.
