Staff very helpful and friendly
Staff were friendly
The walls needed painted in corridors and leisure centre very grubby .
The staff are excellent - very friendly and most helpful. The Manager in Restaurant was most professional and helpful.
wif connection not good, dropped in & out. lack of plug sockets in room, not even a pen or a biscuit for a cuppa!
The friendliness of the staff.
Reception were very friendly, as were the cleaning and bar staff. Bed and bathroom facilities were clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was abysmal - under-cooked food, poorly organised buffet and overpriced. Car park was packed and we were unable to find space at one point. Leisure centre facilities were unkempt (especially pool).
Comfortable, spacious room. Good ensuite. Friendly helpful staff. Well equipped gym. Convenient location on the edge of town near the dual carriageway.
Bar food was ok but overpriced -€15 for pub standard food. And breakfast was way overpriced at €12. So much so that I had breakfast at the nearby Costa instead for half the price.
Receptionist lovely. Location good
Heat not on in room had said I would check in. 8-9pm
Bar food ,carvery
The room was pretty nice. Clean and tidy and had all the expected facilities you would expect. Staff on the front desk were friendly.
Sitting at a table waiting to place a food order for 20 minutes and eventually needing to go to the bar to order food even though we were trying to attract their attention and a staff member had spoken to us at the table but never came back. Also the fact that the leisure center had no locks on the lockers. You just put your things in the locker, push the door closed and hope for the best. If I'd known that, I would have left my valuables in my room but you do expect "lockers" to lock.
The bar food. Tasteless.
Loved everything about the hotel. Staff at reception were really welcoming. Breakfast of fresh scrambled eggs was excellent. Would come back whenever thinking of going to Sligo again
good food, staff friendly and helpfull
no bad experence
The hotel the people the town. Nice vibe - only flaw is that ran Out of Brown sauce.
No brown sauce
Our stay was brilliant, staff very friendly and helpful.
No wifi connection
Poor bar food and lack of wifi a disaster!
Location ok, room And breakfast ok.
Wi-Fi Didnt work and nobody said anything. In 2015 you can't miss it. Check properly next time
Price €59 very good, breakfast excellent . Room very clean.
Wifi wasn't very good and this has been the case on my last couple of stays . It took 10 minutes for bar staff to ask me did I want a drink. Dirty glasses and plates not collect . Food was good but staff slow and seem unorganised .
Swimming pool. Clean. Up to standard. Warm.
The usuall in new type od buildings, you can hear people talking and coughing in the next room. Wall sound insulation very poor. Also when you flush the toilet, there is a hauling noise afterword for few minutes, which is annoying at night.
Everything about the hotel was really nice, the staff where lovely couldn't have been anymore helpful and the room was nice and cosy.
The only fault we had was the food, the food was really nice but the portions wernt great. Personally I wouldn't be a big water but I was still hungry after I had finished my main. I only had a main as the menu wasn't suited to me and my boyfriend (a young couple) the menu is suited to an old couple. And the price we paid for all we ate was crazy, it was almost the price of the room and we only had one course.
Very quiet room, also lots of space. Good breakfast and helpful staff.
Couldn't connect to wifi
Room bed breakfast
Staff talking too much among themselves.remains of food under tables in bar and reception area outside bar
The service is very good, friendly & helpful staff. Hotel is lovely and warm with entertainment both Friday & Saturday night. Dinner was good.
Shower old fashioned but not enough pressure. would like more choice for cereal and pastries at breakfast.
