Really warm welcome, felt relaxing and nothing was too much trouble
Helpfulness and friendliness of all the staff
Queuing for breakfast, having been told there was no need to book in.
Breakfast in the Sligo Park Hotel was not good value for money. I asked for poached eggs and I had to remind the waitress of my order. My breakfast companions had finished their breakfasts by the time my two poached eggs arrived on a half slice of white bread. I had asked for my poached eggs to be well cooked - they were not. I was not given the option of having the eggs on brown bread.
Friendly staff; parking generally O.K. And the grounds were beautiful and well tended!
Entry to hotel can be awkward, since you are confronted by steep steps and the handicap ramp is not indicated. The main door proves a challenge rather than a welcome; a revolving door, or adoorman/porter would help. The reception area is badly placed as it also serves as route to elevators and stairway. A modest remake of your lobby could rectify many of these items, but an architect would I'm sure provide a better plan for a makeover of your lobby space and turn into an area that is far more of a welcoming and pleasing experience.
We arrived late but we were able to get some sandwiches sent up the room, Very clean hotel, staff very polite. Breakfast was buffet style and excellent. The room even had a fridge which is not something I've seen to often in Irish hotels. Wife said the leisure facilities were very good also, Very good value for money. One of the best 4 stars I've been in
Everything was perfect
It was quiet, special price
Room clean and tidy. Breakfast was lovely
Around pool area dirty tiles missing. Parts of hotel are very old in appearance other areas very nice. Front desk asked phone in middle of checking us in then forgot to give us the key along with very poor directions to our room which seemed to b at other far end of hotel which even taking lift ment we had to walk down some stairs to get to our room with a pushchair not ideal at all
Reception staff very friendly and helpful.
Freezing cold dining room- all windows and doors wide open on a cold morning!
nice big clean room & very comfortable bed, nice to have a bath also but it made the shower a bit tight ,but a very minor issue.also good bar.Sligo looked great and a very clean town.Staff at reception very attentive & helpful
a little noisy one night in the corridor for a few minutes.
Relaxed atmosphere and very helpful staff. Breakfast was great - good quality, plenty of it so value for money.
Rooms weren't particularly clean - in fact dirty in places. Very shabby furnishings. Frayed curtains and lamps held together with tape!
Welcoming staff, great lesure facilities, nice bar meals
Staff were very friendly and efficient. The facilities in spa and pool were great. The free nightly entertainment in bar was very good and very welcome as this is not provided in a lot of other establishments.
It's just a small thing but breakfast time could be extended for a further hour.
Desk staff, pool staff and waitresses in restaurant very friendly and obliging. They arranged a fridge for our room for the babies' milk which was very helpful. (Senior male bar staff could do with improvement, they looked baffled, curious and a bit panicked when I arrived alone asking for soup and a sandwich! (my husband was up in the room supervising naptime)).
Had a massage treatment. The lady and the massage were both excellent but the facilities are not good. The room provided is far too small and I had to sit in a very small flimsy fold-out chair while getting an indian head massage. Not very relaxing when you can't drift off in case you fall off the chair! Better to not offer the "spa" type services if you don't have the facilities, than put customers through this. We didn't try the restaurant except for breakfast. The breakfast and the bar food are fine (old fashioned and reasonable quality) but if they were special they could make the hotel a destination in itself.
The bedroom was very nice and comfortable. The staff were very nice and helpful.
Facilities were good, the pool area was great. Nice bar and plenty of space in the lobby to relax.
I rushed the booking as it was for my girlfriends 30th birthday and paid nearly €200.00 for 2 nights. To realise there was no meal and no breakfast included at all during our stay.
The accessible room in which we stayed had a roll-in shower with a sturdy seat. In general the hotel was very comfortable, well run and the evening meals in the restaurant were fine.
The accessible room was very narrow. I was fortunate in that my husband's wheelchair is not too wide, nor my feet too big. We had several 'near-miss' accidents but I kept my toes! It would have benefited my husband if he could have got in to the pool but there was no hoist.
Close to many attractions Nice club facilities
Room heater on all the time Poor ventslation Celtic smell in room when windows were open No wash cloths Good not that good
The way you are made feel so Wellcome by the staff can't wait till next time I will be there again for three days and not two loved it have to say tanks to Michael the barman

the food was quite nice but could have been some more meat and the fish was very small
the bed was not confortable
Not for the first time our family stayed at The Sligo Park. It never dissapoints, from the warm welcome to the time you check out. The staff were cheerful and friendly, the leisure facilities are excellent and maintained well, the food is very good and reasonably priced. Will be back soon
