The large comfortable bed friendly receptionist Appearance of hotel outside Automatic door at entrance
The breakfast was basic and the dining area vry old fashioned decor. Also the lift was next to my room and was vry noisy. The plumbing in the bathroom groaned each time you flush toilet
Loved the room and excellent breakfast. ..!
it is close to city, to shopping areas and to cathedral. Eventho my booking through booking.com came through with incorrect dates, reception staff accommodated me, and gave me a double room rather than the single I had booked. A charge for a breakfast I did not have was removed without question when I pointed it out.
unemptied glass in bathroom on second day and seeming cursory cleaning. uncomfortable mattress. But fortunately I was able to sleep on duvet eventually.
Convenience to train station, very helpful and friendly staff, nice lobby with open fire
Entrance from train station not well signposted, room fine but not great, bed a bit lumpy
Staff very good, very helpful. Lovely areas where we could sit and relax, except in our room,no good chairs there.
Chairs in room. Rooms not soundprove. Some of bar-food was poor.
Location, swimming pool breakfast terrific staff on reception and in the bar.
Rooms a bit tired bathroom needed upgrading far to hot in bedroom.
Price was €35 cheaper when i arrived, i questioned this and the lady at reception confirmed there was a deal that weekend Room was brilliant,
Bed was too soft but my partner thought it was great I Slept on the floor but thats personal choice because of soft bed -
The Hotel/Location/Staff....10/10.Hotel was easily located. All shops/Bars & Clubs within a very short walking distance.Staff were very friendly.Hotel and our room was fantastic with a very relaxed atmosphere. We will be staying there again.
Nothing bad to say about this Hotel
The Hotel was very well located. Staff were lovely.
I was meeting friends from London, one was in a wheelchair and no disabled access except through the kitchen. No disabled toilet on the ground floor, was given a key to go to a bedroom on the third floor to go to the toilet. Not really acceptable in 2014. I had paid extra for a superior room, very basic.
Nothing to dislike about this hotel.
The location was very good, you weren't to far away for the shops
The room was a bit cold, the bar food was ok have had better
Room lovely and cozy. Feather pillow and duvet with crisp linen made for great night sleep. Food in bar was excellent and staff couldn't be nicer.
I liked everything except that there was no jacuzzi in the spa and as I'd a sore back was looking forward to this. Mushrooms seeds & nuts would have added something extra to breakfast. But everything else was perfect.
Excellent hotel no faults room to warm
The bed was comfortable the color of the room was nice
There was a smear on bathroom window. There was a gap between the beds if was like that there was two single beds pushed together
The hotel was very central to shopping and restaurants.
Having to carry my heavy suitcases up two flights of stairs with no offer of help.
The room was warm and cozy as weather was very wet and windy outside
First dingy room we were given on 3rd floor but then got shifted to great room. Fire in bar could have been lit, food in bar was very good.
Friendliness bar and dinging
We slept out and came down to breakfast at 10 40. We were warmly welcomed by your lovely staff and enjoyed an unhurried breakfast. :-)
Mattress wasn't very comfortable and bed was very creaky pm that when you changed position it was noisy during the night!
Hotel is right beside the train station.
Room was noisy because of an alleged 'broken pump' somewhere in the hotel. Certain members of staff were extremely rude. Waiting staff at breakfast lacked basic training and manners.
The location close to town centre with ease of access and car parking. A good location for touring the region. The public areas had the elegance and ambience of a pre-war hotel. It represented good value for money.
The room facilities were dated but everything worked.
The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in!
Booked a deluxe double room but the bed was 2 singles joined up and was very uncomfortable in fact the worst i have ever slept in
clean comfortable close to town centre. Good value
Cost of a a double Jameson's. No need for such prices
staff very helpful easy check in
The location was perfect for a visit to St Josephs hospital.I would have liked to be there under different circumstances.I s a really nice hotel, and we will be back.
There was nothing I did not like.
