Our welcoming hotel offers you the perfect location, situated in Goldens Cove on the Iveragh Peninsula in County Kerry. Sneem Hotel, a four star property, offers excellent facilities in spectacular natural surroundings. There is a large car park, as well as a helipad for those wishing to travel by helicopter. The bright, spacious entrance lobby, furnished with ample comfortable seating, has an open fire, newspapers, magazines & books, as well as both wireless internet access and a computer.

The bar, restaurant, banquet room and meeting rooms are suitable for hosting every event from an intimate business meeting to an art exhibition. And to de-stress or wind down, a sauna, hot tub and gym are available.

Food & beverage

Boasting the finest fresh local produce - including fish direct from the sea and delicious local meat - dining at Sneem Hotel is an experience to be savoured. Our restaurant is open to guests and visitors for breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering a varied menu reflecting both Irish and international cuisine. The mouth-watering food is complemented by splendid views of the sea and mountains. We can also cater for large groups or private parties.

There is also the option of eating in the bar. A bright, airy room opening out towards the sea, it is ideal for daytime snacks or informal lunches, a quiet drink or an entertaining evening. Food is served here throughout the day, with the option on a fine day of enjoying your food or drink out on the terrace, basking in the spectacular surroundings.

Area information

Sneem is situated on the Iveragh Peninsula in County Kerry in the south west of Ireland and lies at the head of the estuary of Sneem River between Kenmare and Waterville. Sneem Hotel is located on the Kenmare road as it rises out of Sneem village.

the views, the bedroom, the peace and quiet and the food

the vent in one of the bedroom windows was broken and pointed out to staff and noted but not repaired prior to our departure. This similar problem was mentioned in a guest review on your site and I wonder if it was the same room or not. I did mention it to the hotel as well..As the weather was good it didn't spoil our stay. Overall 10 out of 10...

Good quality hotel with comfortable rooms and beds. Food good, but pricey. Unbeatable setting with lovely views.

Bit of a lax attitude by some of the waiting staff at breakfast time.

A very relaxed atmosphere in the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful --- nothing was a problem.Loved the walks around the Hotel and loved the views from our bedroom--- view of the lake and mountains.

clean, modern, good size room

did not sleep for more than 10 minuts because of noise of wind.The window in hotel room was so badly fitted, there was a very loud "whistling noise" coming from it all night
