Food was good, servicing a large number of people at the conference was good, staff friendly. Room 360 was cold and the bed very hard and the bathroom was tired. The overall hotel was ok but looking a bit drab re decor and paintwork Your offering was ok for a conference but wouldnt return for a leisure stay.

staff on check in very unfriendly, didn't even look at us as we were checked in. requested an iron to be sent to the room after 20 mins when it hadn't arrived and we rang reception, they were very abrupt and said it was comming, we waited another 15 mins and had to go down to reception about it.

The room was basic, Old fashioned bathroom, did they buy the fittings second hand from an older hotel ? Finish in rooms was poorly decorated shabby workmanship. Id say a throw back to sure it will do. Hotel advertise that WI-fi is available. Yes there was Wi-fi but it was so slow it was practically impossible to access web email etc so so slow ! The restaurant was closed . Bar food was available but not great and expensive ! Breakfast was buffet geasy and limited I would not RECOMMEND ! Note... In comparison I stayed in Silver Springs for the same price week before in Cork and that hotel was far superior in every way

Friendliness of Staff and the free parking. In my view The 4 star rating Is not merited. Standard displayed is barely that of a three star hotel. Reception area, walkways, bar and dining room are all in need of upgrading. Location is a little removed from city centre. Price needs to be more competitive for standard on offer.

It has a bar on site. The location is very poor, outside the city of Limerick so if you don't have a car, you need a taxi in order to get to places (city center, the University of Limerick, etc). I stayed in the ecxecutive room, and I still don't know why they call it "ecxecutive". There was nothing special in it. The tv is very very small.

The location was excellent, and the staff were friendly. It was very clean and rooms cleaned every day. Lovely breakfast. Musky smell from bathrooms as no air filtering out.Internet service for someone who doesn't bring a laptop, was slow and out of date.

The water for the bath was extremely hot and constant and the bath was good and deep so lovely for relaxing. * Room service was very reasonably priced. * There were a good choice of chanels on the tv (not just rte1 & 2. * The hotel is close to the hosptial so we could walk over to visit whenever we wanted, come back for a rest/shower and then go back over again. * The rooms were nice and dark when you close the curtains, so it's good for sleeping, even though teh beds were quite hard. It's a very 80's hotel the smell of cigarette smoke fills the hallway and rooms, but you get used to it after the first day. * There is no swimming pool/sauna/jaccuzzi.

“The customer service from the decated staff. The food was excellent at night and the breakfest was first class. Shirley is well worth her salery, give her a raise !!! The bed didn't feel as though we were the 1000 couple to sleep in it. The over all cleanliness was great. The Polish receptionest was almost 'Irish' in her welcome and warmth. We will stay again , please God.” John, Westport |
