Score from 102 reviews Wonderful
very poor breakfast selection accompanied by dirty tables and little to no effort made by lazy staff.
Hotel was in an excellent location for our trip and lovely reception area.
Where we were located was extremely noisy and the tommy daughter and grandchild slept smelt smoky. We were offered an alternative room but my daughter didn't want to be far west from ourselves as she was a young mum with s 3 month old baby.
very comfortable beds
no open fire in Ireland , bit of a cold feel
Food for the wedding was very good staff very friendly.
Breakfast poor not a great choice of food. Receptionist and staff at breakfast not very friendly. At check out was totally ignored not even asked if everything was ok.
We booked a junior suite and found it to be very roomy and comfortable.Would stay here again. Our evening meals and breakfast were cooked to perfection and the waiting staff polite and efficient
Breakfast order was not taken , waited some fifteen minutes then asked. Waited more than twenty minutes for our tea.
Staff extremely friendly couldn't fault anything really!
Noise from other room thin walls
I requested a room on the top floor to the back of hotel I stay here every weekend and when I arrived I was given a key for first floor with no explanation whatsoever to me they hadn't even bothered to read my request my point being why a have a special request box upon booking then if your not even going to read it
Location, Price and bar food and of couse an excellent freshly cooked breakfast
The bed was a bit unconfortable, hard
Friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms. Bar has a varied menu, and serves food until 9pm. Parking is easy, and the hotel is close to both bus stops, and the motorway, for easy travel.
Rooms can be a bit chilly, but you can adjust the heating. The back of the hotel can get traffic noise, so pick an upper floor, on the front if possible,
The staff were very helpful to me as they accommodated my request for an early check-in. The hotel is very easy to find coming off the motorway.
We couldn't turn off the radiator in the bathroom which was extremely hot.
Food was excellent so was the staff
Residents bar closed too early
All was great except the party ......
There was a party on in the hotel the night we stayed ...which we were not attending. Obviously some of the guests stayed over and decided to party in a bedroom opposite us until about 8.30 am . The staff and security called up to the room several times but in between other people kept coming and going. I appreciate people may want to party on all night but suggest that perhaps the hotel could organise for people not attending the function or not part of the party group to stay in another part of the hotel.
Very helpful staff. Great bar area with excellent food. ATM in the lobby is a plus. Easy to get to with lots of parking space. Will be staying here again
Nothing. Stay far away from this run down hotel
A 30th party finished downstairs in the function room and some of the guests pieled into one bedroom and continued partying. They were screaming, running up & down the corridoors, banging on other bedroom doors. We called reception four times from 2am until 5am when some security personnel finally sorted the situation out. The next morning , we complained to reception and were told that the manager would contact us. We were never contacted. The breakfast room is grotty and smelly. The hotel is at the very basic level and the rooms are pokey.
Stayed overnight on a shopping trip to Kildare/Dublin. Easy to find, staff friendly, comfortable room and decent breakfast. Overall a very good 3 star accommodation and very good value for money, would definitely go back.
The size of the bed.
Room was small bed was uncomfortable hotel was very noisie staff weren't very welcoming.
Father with three young kids and everything was very easy and relaxed. Staff very friendly and room very comfortable. Kids loved the breakfast.
Minor point but the wifi dropped each time you turned off a device and you had to tick a box to reconnect.
The restaurant food was really good.
Bar was a little too quiet and no music
reception staff were excellent, friendly and always willing to help
Good food, friendly and helpful staff. Big car park
Staff, very friendly and couldn't do enough for you when asked. I was really impressed by the chef in the bar carvery who when I asked was it possible to go of menu as i would have loved a sandwhich rather than full dinner. He made me a lovely warm Turkey sandwich with stuffing, side salad and chips. You get so used to hotels where there is no customer service with a smile that it is striking when does happen. The receptionist on booking in was very helpful also. Breakfast service was delivered with a smile and excellent hot food, the best hash browns we had in years. Thank you Springfield keep up the good work.
