The Leisure Centre Apart from the leisure centre I found the hotel quite depressing. The restaurant was very dark and cramped. The bar had absolutely no atmosphere and was too bright. The bedroom was very dark too and there was a smell of cigarette smoke. We were woken at 4am on Sunday morning by revellers outside the hotel beneath our room who continued until 6am . The carpets throughout the hotel particularly at the stairs were very worn and shabby.

We were on a motorbike trip and so the location for the plces we wanted to go to was very habdy Had to request a change of room upon getting to it from checking in. 2Nd room was just about ok. Bathroom was small and disgustinly dirty, very badly positioned sockets, loose connections in the hair dryer and Kettle leaked. Last 2 obviously very dangerous. I have already emailed the general manager about these issues and awaiting a response. Will never book an advanced purchased again. If this had not been done we would have walked out the the hotel. We will not stay there again

Refused a drink in hotel bar at midnight. Ordered a 3 course meal at a cost of 35 euros each not including wine and waited 35 minutes for starter only to be told that as there was a wedding going on they had no idea how much longer we had to wait.ridiculous.Shower in our room was ancient and poor.Carpet throughout the hotel was often dirty in places.

Value for money. Food was "ok", but not much else. Very dated and shabby bedrooms and bar area, and could do with some extra cleaning.

staff were friendly, food & drink was excellent. no water plug in the wash hand basin , you had to run the water for 10min to get it hot same for the shower and then pray that it stays hot. Its 2km from the city center not 1.6 as stated. We requested a room in a quiet part of the hotel which we did'nt get.

The fact that five of us plus baby were alowed stay in one room made it affordable and also safer as I was only adult and did not want a second room. Also cofee in bar was only 1 euro and free miwadi for children meant I did not feel the hotel wanted to take advantage of me and fleece me. Clubs for children were an unbelievable bonus and I will therefore be returning soon Rooms a bit too hot

Location and price were perfect for what we were looking for. I must say all staff that we met were extremely nice, especially the girls on reception - very very approachable & friendly. They alone would entice me to stay again. Breakfast was very good. The only reason I said cleanliness of room was poor was because the bathroom floor was very sticky, not sure if it was cleaned, it didn't look visibly dirty but the stickiness of it put me off a bit!! Also couldn't work the shower???? There was no hot water from the taps when we returned to the room that night. On the last note, the lift seems a small bit dodgy, we were afraid every time we got into it we were going to get stuck as it took ages to open & was a bit shaky too! They are all only very small negatives, it's a great hotel

Nice leisure centre/pool. Nice breakfast when it arrived. I requested a quiet room but was allocated a room facing the Main Kilkenny- Waterford road. The windows are not sound proof so I was kept awake from all the noise of the Trucks and boy racers. The hotel seemed very understaffed. They only had one staff member in the bar serving both drinks and food. I had to wait for 20 mins for him to clear my starter and bring my main course. The first morning at breakfast I waited 10 mins for someone to arive in the dining room and then I had to go to reception and ask them to get someone. No internet access in the room and the wifi in the lobby area was extreamly slow.
