Good priced hotel 2 mins drive from city centre. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Pool and spa facilities are lovely.

The hotel restaurant wasn't great. Dispite the friendly staff it was clearly under staffed and the food on the evening menu was subpar.

Ugly, charmless place. Think "Premier Inn" in the UK but worse. Overpriced restaurant, charmless bar with mediocre food. Pool/gym open to non-residents so full at 10am. Glasses not properly washed at breakfast. Location nothing interesting, view over some rough ground. No drawers in bedroom to put stuff in.

Hotel has seen better times...We stayed only one night but we have as well time to enjoy their spa. Do not forget on caps! We did not have them so we were not allowed to use it. Unfortunately there were no caps in the bathroom. Our room had view to the main road so it was rather noisy

We could not fault anything. The food was fantastic, bar prices great, room comfortable.

A bit too far from town center. Shower could do with an update.

i was at a ruby wedding celebration. really impressed with all the assistance the staff gave the couple and how well and yet relaxed it all was.

couldnt get hot water out of my shower. maybe my fault. did not have time to get it checked.

Rooms were apacious and well cleaned. The facilities especially swimming pool and gym was liked by my family/twin boys so much. I did my first swimming in 45 yrs! Location was very good with ample parking. Very good enterance and welcoming staff

Very Good staff on at breckfast even though they were busy as there had been a wedding the night before nothing was too much for them to get

Room was tiny - I had an alleged double room. There was a complete lack of plug sockets - 3 in fact - and also a lack of light - I had to ask for a desk lamp!!!!!!!!!

Great value for money. Nice pool. Friendly hepful staff. Good location within a short drive from Kilkenny city centre.

Booked ahead of time for the hotel restaurant becuase we were arriving late around 8pm. The hotel restaurant only offered a set menu at 29 euro per person and we would have had to pay for all three courses at dinner. Great if you have a huge appetite but after many hours travelling we mainly just wanted to have one (main) course but would have had to pay for the starter and dessert as well, so would have been very poor value. Opted to eat in the bar instead where food was more reasonably priced but generally disappointing.

Breakfast food is great!

(I'm sure some of the other tags above apply too but I didn't have opportunity to try them) Great value for money. The free kids club a was a fantastic draw, well organised and the kids loved the nightly movies. Bar menu great and breakfast wonderful! The staff couldn't have been more helpful with directions to local attractions. Loads to do in the area and it was great to meet local leisure club members who were so friendly and welcoming. Well done folks, will def. be back!

Nice hotel, rooms newly refurbished, sparse but comfortable. Great kids activities

Children must leave bar by 9.30, foyer area very cold. According to hotel staff it's the law, although I have stayed in many hotels where this has never been implemented!!

Everyone so friendly and kids club was very good and well organised

The restaurant and bar was lovely and the pool and leisure facilities were excellent.

The room that we got was half the size of the room a couple we were travelling got. It was really cold and after complaining to reception and being told to turn up the radiator when we returned to our room that night the room was still cold and remained that way for the next two days. On two occasions the water in the shower was freezing cold even after leaving on the highest temp for ten minutes. On complaining whilst leaving I didn't feel we got a satisfactory response from reception

The hotel staff and the spa staff were great.the bar staff and careen staff lovely.the hotel was very well keep it was clean and was quite at night.i woul let family and friends know about the hotel.

Price, clean, friendly, good spa. Good bar food & barman.
