Helpfulness, location, Speed of service at breakfast,
one of our rooms had noisey guests next door, but reception soon found another room, great.
Fantastic hotel great location the hotel staff were very friendly Planning on returning soon
The location of the hotel was just awesome. I enjoyed my breakfast so much and housekeeping was good during my stay.
location. good breakfast & very pleasant staff would stay there again
Comfy family room with nice breakfast in the am.Easy walk to main streets or public transport.
Staff were really helpful, breakfast was good, room clean and comfortable. location was good for the shopping and nightlife of Dublin, easily walkable.
delightful and helpful staff
the staff were very friendly the room was warm and comfertable and the location was spot on
no room safe but the staff put our passporto and money in a safe for us
Location. Breakfast. Value . Cleanliness.
The hotel bar was a disapointment, only selling bottled beers and spirits.
Friendly service, good breakfast (if Irish plus cereals etc is ok for you). Shower was clean and did not leak or splash water like often... Wifi worked great in my 4th floor room. No traffic sounds at least in the back parts of 4th floor.
Room did have a stuffy smell when I arrived. Keeping window a bit open all the time solved it, but seemed like a waste in the middle of the winter. Sound proofing between the rooms bad, but fortunately the neighbours were not too lively.
not much .Location
Hotel entrance ,stone steps, front door dirty and grubby , fro t hall smelly even with windows open .Bed was barely 4 foot with a tatty cushion to decorate , bathroom was good size and clean.Breakfast was good .
The location, friendliness of staff and good food.
very central to all local attractions. Staff very accommodating. Comfortable and clean, good hearty full Irish breakfast with all the trimmings.
Very nice staff. Always ready to help. They are very helpful. Clean and comfortable room. Perfect stay. We were not disappointed!
friendly greeting from receptionist. Private parking facilities. Quick efficenctity of catering staff. Breakfast lovely. bedroom lovely an warm all night.
Lovely staff at the reception, very service minded and friendly! The full Irish breakfast is wonderful.
Freezing bathroom and drafty room, the safe didn't work, bad service at breakfast - even when they saw you arrive the staff just remained where they were, chatting to each other. After waiting alone in the breakfast room more than a few minutes I had to fetch them and ask to please order - two mornings out of three.
Staff were friendly and welcoming. Rooms were warm and comfortable. Breakfast was awesome. For a budget hotel the Hotel St George was great and within just 10 minutes walk of Temple Bar and lots of other attractions. Just a couple of minutes from shops, pubs, restaurants and the tour buses. Would definitely stay again.
The bathroom was a bit basic. No heating or extractor fan, but shower was powerful and hot which is a huge plus and although basic, the bathroom was functional which is the important thing.
The staff were very friendly The hotel was well heated Wifi Comfortable bed A big lounge to sit in whilst we waited for our flight home They let us go to our room early as it was ready early Amazing location
The breakfast could be improved The hotel was to our taste, some guests may find it dated but we felt this was compensated for in the price.
Staff were friendly, hotel was nice, if a little shabby and in need of redecoration. Nice ambience in breakfast room.
O'Connell Street area is quite rough. Hotel decor is a little shabby. Weekend restaurant staff were unhelpful and not very friendly, and gluten free cornflakes were completely stale. Weekday staff were better.
Location excellent very close to shops and bars.
Room was too small and very basic Breakfast was terrible and service was too slow
Friendly staff, secure parking.
The Breakfast is pretty amazing, there's a buffet, but you can also order a full Irish Breakfast for free. The Staff is really nice and helpful, always willing to help and always smiling. The location, close to everything ( O Connell street is only a few meters away) and at the same time in a pretty quiet area ( Parnell square).
Hotel is very central. Cannot fault the hotel itself. Breakfast was excellent, my room (Room 101) was lovely and spacious on ground floor with a double bed and a single bed. (other's in our party were on the 2nd floor and their rooms were double rooms (twin beds) and adequate in size). The rooms were cleaned every day and fresh towels provided on each day. Usual tea/coffee/hairdryer available and loads of wardrobe space etc. I would highly recommend the Viking Spash tour and also The Parnell Heritage Bar & Grill (a few mins walk away from hotel). If in the Temple area, I would highly recommend The Quays Irish Restaurant - food is lovely and reasonably priced and atmosphere is excellent.
One particular lady at reception was not very helpful. This is the only down side. Firstly we asked about local buses on the Saturday morning to take us to St Stephen's Green. She didnt know and simply told us to go outside and look at the bus boards. Asked if we could order taxis from the hotel and she told us no, again telling us to go outside and start walking. On the Saturday evening she phoned the "party girl" room and told her that there was a limo waiting for her - which was a surprise !! and then just giggled and said Sorry, did I ruin the surprise. She knew we were on a party weekend on the Friday when we arrived..... we all had balloons etc. She should have asked privately for me on the phone as i organised the whole trip and it was my name on the whole bookings.
First time in Dublin and the staff were really friendly and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Really close to everything you want to do and see. Breakfast was always nice. All in all really good place to stay and good value for money.
excellent location, friendly staff, good breakfast, adequate for one night
not very clean, slightly worn out.
