Great location in Dublin. We stayed in a room with three singles and a double bed. Clean, comfortable, great breakfast.
Double a little small for two adults, so we put two kids on it instead. Worked out fine.
Had a 3 night stay in this hotel. We had a room at the back, no view, but we did not mind as it was nice and quiet. The staff were Excellent, they could not do enough for us. The breakfast was extremely good, a good start to our day. We found the hotel to be good value for the money.
Only downside was there was no restaurant for an evening meal.
Location, friendly staff, breakfast.
I enjoyed the staff very much, friendly, helpful, kind--the room was good w/walk-in shower, so convenient for me.
the long walk down the steps to breakfast, but it was worth it-great service & food.
Old single glazed sash windows let in too much noise.
service at breakfast...........
Thin walls, at night you can hear people in the next rooms, cough, flush toilets, run showers, slam doors.
We liked the location very much staff accommodating we wanted a room on lower floor he gave us a nice suite on main floor
Breakfast was excellent with a great range of choices such as drinks, cereals and hot food. Staff were friendly and helpful and the facilities were brill.
The tv was poor as some channels did not have good signal. Would have liked it if we could have had more selection of channels.
Good location, comfortable, nicely decorated room, good value overall.
Old-world atmosphere, central location, helpful staff. On request, we were given a large room on the ground floor.
Many stairs down to breakfast room. Handrail almost impossible to grip halfway down, this makes the stairs dangerous for people with reduced mobility.
Very good breakfast and very quiet room
Breakfast was ace if I didn't have a hangover! Good cheap hotel for the weekend.
The helpful and pleasant reception staff, great breakfast and service, perfect location to enjoy the beautiful city of Dublin.
We did not like that Booking.com reserved a room for three people when the reservations were clearly made for two.
location was great walk to everything
The greatest area of the city centre to walk to many major attractions. . . Temple Bar, Trinity College as well as the "Hop on and off Bus" tour start...excellent value for the 2 day ticket ...received a discount by purchasing tickets at Hotel St George! Very generous, excellent breakfast included.
People not aware that European hotel rooms are much smaller than Canadian/American hotel rooms may be disappointed with the rooms but, we found it very clean and comfortable
The Hotel was a bit run down and dark.
We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the hotel. Our room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to park our rental car in a safe place. The location is nice for walking to shopping and pubs and to get the tour buses. We would definitely stay again.
Location great.Staff pleasant and helpful. Substantial breakfast and a comfortable bed. I couldn't have asked for more as a solo female traveller.
Arrived 11.30 but room not ready till 2pm. Not usually a problem but when suffering with a bad back all I wanted was a bed to lie on. Reception very good and I had a cup of tea. This is just a comment and not a complaint as I realise they have a lot of rooms to turn around.
Breakfast Staff Wifi
A bit pricey
Location was great. Just a 50 mt to the Donegal Bus (John Mc Ginley) pick up point and a short walk to O'Connell st.. Hotel was clean with Wi-Fi.
Most of the staff were wonderful and very helpful!
The rooms were old. Carpet worn. Mildew in the shower.
Location - ideal base for exploring Dublin centre. Family room good size and great shower. Excellent value especially with breakfast included.
Stairs to dining room and lift did not go to all floors.
Location Comfortable hotel Good breakfast
The central locality, helpful staff, old world charm.
A bit noisy at night.
