We were up for some concerts so location was good! We didn't gave to spend a lot of time in the hotel.

Noisey, Window wouldn't close... Parts of the breakfast were burnt... Leaking bath.. Room was very warm... The room we stayed in was tiny... Room could also do with some tlc as the curtains were hanging off in places..

Very convenient to city sites and shopping, with bus stops right outside the door and some lovely eating spots within walking distance. Breakfast was very good with a variety of choices for all tastes. Our room was clean and tidy and kept that way throughout our stay. All in all it is an old establishment and has everything that goes with this type of accommodation.

Although there is a lift I would not recommend this hotel for anyone with a mobility issue. There are mid floors that require walking up and down stairs. The only way to the breakfast area is a steep set of stairs. The reception staff could use a lesson in dealing with their guests politely and helpfully in a welcoming and friendly manner. Unfortunately, our room window was broken and we could not open it for some fresh air. Although we reported this to reception nothing was done about it and we ended up propping the window open with a couple of cushions to let in some air. On our return from a day out we found our door had been left open which gave us a bit of a fright, staff members need to be more careful about guest security.

A bit threadbare in places and Some parts need decoration eg modern bathroom but mould on ceiling. Noisy at night from outside and window would not close.

location in the city, you can walk by foot to places of interest, but also can use the hopp on hopp off bus directly from the hotel although located in the city centre, it was a quiet room

The location was near the theatre and a nice pub. The rooms were spacious and the bath nice. However, the sheets were ripped. The hotel was a good place for one night before a flight out of Dublin. We used it this way and got in a play as well. That worked perfectly when we left early the next morning. However, do not use this location for touring Dublin..we had already done this on our arrival and this was the end of our tour.

The sheets were ripped on one bed. The staff was less than helpful. It is very far from the main attractions of Dublin and on the "wrong" side of the river. That said the neighblorhood immediately around the hotel is perfectly fine, just not convenient to the normal sights. .

Great location, old but stylish hotel.

Parking!!! There supposed to be free parking. But turned out that their car park (tiny) was full. So the option was to park on a street or in parking house - where of course I had to pay for that. Now imagine if you stay there for full day or even longer period - parking charges will equal to your room rate! Nonsense. It can't be like first 5 guest will park for free and next 25 car owners have to pay. Once you mention phrase "free parking" on your site or description, you need to offer that equally to all customers. Even some restaurants are offering that they will cover on street parking charges - and you are not able to make even (discount) deal with any nearby parking houses?? Just take this Free parking off from your description - without that I would have chosen another hotel. And instant coffe for breakfast - not good! As everything else was great and delicious, you can't be cheap and go the instant way. I'm not dreaming about nice americano - even filtered coffee could have been way better than instant.

The staff were not particularly friendly - the staff in the breakfast room were a little stressed out.

A rather tired Hotel but well placed at the start of O´Connell for shops Hop on/Off Bus, Airport Bus and only 20 Mins walk to the River Liffey, Trinitty Uni etc. Friendly staff and plenty of Info´etc Breakfast was good and got us through the day.

An out of control Bathroom Airvent!!

Located very close to O'Connell Street and the hop on bus, and bus to airport. Good breakfast.

Hotel felt tired.

We researve a quiet twin room for 2 but surprized to be given a very large room for 3 - a double and twin bed with large couch on the quiet side of hotel. OUTSTANDING! Large selection of hot breakfast and continental items included in price of hotel. Quick service by attendents in breakfast room, too.

Very good location. The room was small but clean and had a comfortable bed.

Very small room kept tripping over suitcases as nowhere to put them. Would be more suitable for weekend or overnight guests not travellers on a long holiday.

I liked the location and the decor.

tv wasn't working and the guy who came to look at it on the 1st day and could not sort it out said would come back tomorrow and never did. the se,cond guy couldn't sort it out either

The staff are EXCEPTIONAL - nothing is too much trouble, and they are unfailingly friendly and courteous. The breakfast is excellent, good quality produce, freshly cooked and served piping hot with a smile.

I somehow contrived to book our trip the sale weekend as the Heineken Cup Final, and found the price hike a little extreme!

The staff were very helpfull, the beds very comfortable, the shower room excellent apart from the flush which was not very easy to use. The breakfast was very good too.

Staff friendly, welcoming and efficient, good facilities, excellent location and secure parking too.
