Great location which was walking distance from Eyre square, bus and train station. View of bay Safe neighborhood Clean & comfortable bed
The bath room was tiny The TV set was tiny Price / value
Excellent location, free parking.
Noisy until about 10pm due to location of room.
As it says close to everything (specifically "The Sportsground" for home Connaught matches) short pleasant walk to Eyre Square. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Our twin room was spacious and very clean. Off street parking was a bonus.
Sean and Donal were great and so very helpful. The B&B was clean, comfortable, just right. We actually recommended it to other travelers headed to Galway city. The breakfast was beyond adequate and very good. Thanks for a great stay.
Good location, very helpful host
Rooms Location Staff Breakfast
The location, the accommodations and the food was wonderful at St. Jude Lodge. The staff was over and above! Our only problem was wifi but we were most likely in the furthest room from the main area. Mostly had to go to the lobby for service.
Nothing was outstanding.
The floor was sticky and the room felt dirty overall. It did not reflect the price paid. Plus we had a surprise waiting at our window (see title). Breakfast wasn't enjoyable (quality of food and service).
The whole place in general needs to be cleaned. Black overhead shower, floor looks like it is always wiped in a hurry, did not get a proper cleaning ever. Carpets for replacement, door frames and walls need to be repainted. Materace so used, no support whatsoever, had terrible sleep. Baby cot filthy. Could not eat my breakfast next morning imagining the higienic standards in the kitchen.Pictures on booking.com very misleading.
Very spacious room down in the basement, quiet with no traffic noise. Good shower with plenty of hot water. Good wifi.
Seemed a bit expensive for what was on offer - room was rather gloomy with rather tired looking furnishings. chipped mug and old sticker on the toilet bowel.
Convenient for town. Staff were friendly.
Very basic accommodation. Large room, minimal furnishings of basic standard.
Staff was excellent and very accommodating with help.
Sticky floors room and dining room Mattress worn, no sheets on bedding Very small room, not very clean Worn carpets throughout B&B Street noise cause it's on a Main Street. Stayed at 10 different B &B s in Ireland in a 3 week period. This was the one I would never stay at again because of above reasons
Walking distance to city centre
Bathroom door wouldnt close. No lock either. Shower needed unblocking as after a two minute shower you were standing in three inches of water (room number six)
Was available for the Races - certainly hard to find a room otherwise - we understood that the highest cost that we paid for a room in our 16 day visit to Ireland reflected this. Irish Breakfast was wholesome and fresh Free parking. Night staff was friendly - welcomed us at the doorway Wifi was great - and free! Know that there are larger rooms - would stay here in the future in the larger rooms.
Small - small room - small bed - small bathroom - small tv. Additional cost for breakfast
The room was nice and clean, comfortable bed and a nice clean bathroom albeit small! The staff were friendly and helpful and it was in an excellent location, only a five minute walk from the city centre.
The breakfast wasn't great, it was self service and was quite rubbery and dried out from sitting in the heaters. The price was quiet high for what we were getting and the breakfast was not included in the price.
it was convenient for walking to dining and pubs, waterfront. On site parking. Staff was friendly.
Simple accommodations for the high price. Needs a makeover pretty badly.
The location. Breakfast was good Staff seemed nice
The room was small, bathroom was tiny, tiny, tiny. The bathroom door wouldn't shut, the TV worked occasionally.
Hanna and the Brothers were great help with everything we needed.
The location was near city center. Wifi was included in the rate. Flew in that day from the US and they let us check in early so we could get a nap. No traffic issues. Easy to travel to Cliffs of Moher from here. Quiet. Didn't hear any noisy neighbors. Staff was friendly and helpful. Chocolates were a nice touch.
Bed was harder than we liked but this seemed to be typical of hardness of beds that we experienced in Ireland. The shower kept switching between hot and cold.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Very accommodating, warm welcome, excellent location.
very friendly staff! i had a big and clean room! i didn't book breakfast because the nightlife in Galway was great! thanks for that great time at your b&b!
Good location & friendly staff. Comfortable bed & very spacish room.
No carpet in rooms; felt a little "cold" in appearance.
Very friendly and helpful staff, great room and location
Location to city centre
Noisy guests with no consideration for others in the early hours of the morning not addressed by staff . Room facing main road noisy , premises looking a bit old and tired .
