night porter of ian persuasion not too appreciative on last night considering our reason for stay (family funeral) and the size of our group and other group in bar (golf group from dublin). closed bar due to noise an disturb other guests but we were the major two groups staying in hotel. took our money on previous two nights. think he just fed up with having to work late!!!!!!!!!

Staff could not have been more helpful/friendly. A great place for a family break

Only negative was that pizza that our boys ordered from the Station House restaurant was inedible. Dry and hard. That's the only negative, after two nights and 6 meals shared between us, so not exactly a deal breaker!

Great staff. Very accomodating. We arrived St. Patricks day morning in the rain at 10.30 A.M. We wanted to leave our bags but were told that our room was ready. Very good natured staff obviously happy in their work. Restaurant staff couldn't do enough. Friendly and relaxed. Would def reccommend.

Bath too small. A few more sachets of coffee in the room would be nice.

The friendly helpful staff, the central location and the superb food in the Signal Bar. The room was warm and comfortable and the breakfast very good. We would certainly recommend it.

A sheltered outdoor smoking area would have been nice there was no canopy and smoking involved standing out in the rain.

Welcome that we got and the standard of the food

It was clean,quiet,efficient friendly staff,ideal location. Restaurant was very good ,service excellent and good value for money.# We will most certainly stay there again

The only means of ventilation in our room was a French door which had to be fully open or fully closed. Leaving it fully open for ventilation meant the door banging in the wind. Also no hot water on the Friday evening / Saturday morning, probably because of a large group of walkers staying in the hotel all having baths at the same time.

A good hotel and great value

Curtains fell off hooks so did not get a good nights sleep

We loved our stay in the Station House Hotel and will use this hotel again

Only a very minor problem which can be fixed. If you really want a bath which I had. You need to hold the stopper in with your foot to get the bath filled. I eventually had a lovely bath which was lovely.
