Excellent location, right in the city center and next to St.Stephen's park, very helpful stuff, clean room. Very convenient the ability to make tea/coffee in the room and enjoy my cigarette there. Well, 3rd floor with no lift and a very heavy suitcase...but again, excellent stuff did not leave me alone!!! |

This was an excellent location, central to grafton st shopping and sightseeing around the city via the bus. Hotel was simple, but adequate in meeting basic needs. Would stay again. Multiple flights of steps, inconvenient to carry luggage |

I found the staff friendly and helpful. Overall the facilities were very good. I was only there the one night but I found the hotel comfortable enough. I had asked for a wake - up call but it never happened. I found the bathroom a bit dirty and the shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned that well. |

The breakfast room waitress was very pleasant and efficient. Stauntons was close to everything. When I turned the shower on, it was too hot, and couldn't reach in to turn it off without scalding my arm. (around the sliding door) |

A central Dublin location yet, having asked for a quiet room at the back, we were not disturbed by traffic noise at all. The staff were really helpful. Our room had obviously been refurbished quite recently and was perfect for our needs. Breakfast was good too. A perfect place to stay for a short break in Dublin. |

The staff was outstanding. The rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. Location was great. It was near the park and was a quiet area yet within walking distance to shopping and dining areas. Breakfast was delicious and fresh! |

Ideal location; the hotel is opposite St.Stephens Green park and just a few minutes away from the city centre and close to the Temple bar area. Good hotel with friendly staff. |

The hotel is well situated to walk into the centre of Dublin and St Stephen's Green is an oasis to walk through. I requested a quiet room and was very satisfied with a lovely room overlooking the garden at the rear of Stauntons. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. I really enjoyed my stay. |

Hotel was very accommodating and we were able to check into our room ahead of schedule. Beautiful property, excellent urban location. Needs a bit more improvement electronically! Hotpot in room did not function properly due to bad outlet, surprisingly no hair dryer available. WiFi signal was not reliable during our stay. |

Since Staunton's is effectively a bed and breakfast establishment, one does not see many staff during one's stay. However, receptionists were all excellent. A coach trip was organized for me at short notice; a question was investigated and answered about my travel arrangements for my return home, and a taxi quickly and efficiently ordered. I would have marginally preferred a bath to only a shower, and I'm not fond of duvets. But I did nothing to get these matter changed for a stay of only four nights; for all I know, they might well have been willing to change my room if I had. |

I had a wonderful experience at Staunton's from the moment of my booking here in the US, when the receptionist called me right back to answer my questions through the entire week long stay. My room was small, but totally adequate, overlooking the courtyard, quiet, with a flat screen TV and wifi. It is really minor, but I thought the breakfasts were boring, often prepared in advance so not fresh when ordered. I'd suggest offering scones and muffins with the breakfast fare, for those of us who cannot handle a "full Irish" first thing in the morning. |

The city centre location was convenient and nice to have given the big weekend that it waas in Dublin. No lift/elevator which would have been nice as my room wass on the 3rd floor and the stairs were steep. Also, having to leave the room key at reception when leaving the building; grown adults shouldn't be treated like small kids in such a manner. |

The location is excellent, easy to find, no hassle booking in or checking out. Hotel was also surprisingly quiet for a building that overlooks the main road, and breakfast was very good. |

Location. I thought the hotel was very overpriced for what we got. The rooms were tiny and only 2 tv channels worked. The cooked breakfast wasn't even fresh and the staff appeared to be under pressure. I booked this hotel not caring what I paid just once it was a good stay. All the doors had a door lock instead of a card and you would have to bang the door shut to ensure it was locked. |

Good location, very polite and helpful staff. The only inconvenience - no bath and very small shower cabin. Oh well - that's why it is a guesthouse, not a hotel, I guess. |

The room was lovely and spacious, with high ceilings and a view of the great St. Stephens Park. The breakfast was very good as well. Our bathroom was very small, especially in comparison to our lovely sized bedroom. Also, the TV was tiny - definitely could do with an upgrade. |
