St Stephen's Green is a lovely park right in front of Staunton's. Safe and convenient place to be near trams and buses and easy walk to many sights and shops. Warm welcome from staff. Will definitely go back.
No complaints at all.
nice location ! directly at St.Stephens Green Close to Grafton Street very polite and helpful employees bathroom renovated and o.k.
I had room to the street - and the windows are not doubled... scrambled eggs - is it REAL eggs or mostly egg-white ? carpet in room - had seen its best times... hot water for shower - wait 3 minutes before entering the shower...
Location and atmosphere of the hotel
Location is excellent for work as our Headoffice is located on Stephen's Green. Large number of Pubs & restuarants close to Guesthouse.
Decor in room 301 needs refurbishment - marks on walls. En-suite roof vent drips condesation onto floor. Hot water has to be run for a length of time before it is hot. It is understood that the geusthouse is undergoing renovations.
Rooms are not brand new, very small television without cable, though these are minor discomforts on a citytrip where time spent at the hotel is minimal.
The room was very comfortable, the staff very helpful and it was convenient to have someone park the car for you.
Unfortunately decorators were painting just outside our room at the time of our visit, which meat there was the smell of fresh paint around and the noise of workman chatting early morning. The breakfast although substantial arrived cold.
Very quiet and very good nights sleep
location was excellent.Atmospheric house, lovely gardens.Every detail attended to in bedroom
Breakfast very basic by todays standards elsewhere. Towels were too small
Breakfast was not great.
Location and valet parking
A little difficult to drive to with one way system on stephens green
Fantastic breakfast - cooked fresh and you could ask to leave some items out and include others.
Friendly, quiet, clean, safe, excellent location, great breakfast.
We were able to walk all over inner Dublin from here. A wonderful stay.
Location and very comfortable bed
Breakfast only fair
Dublin is early a "fair city" and we enjoy our stay. You are really able to walk everywhere which reminds me of Boston where you can walk from the Waterfront to Fenway Park with little effort. Taxis are easy to find and the drivers are fonts of info'. There are restaurants for every budget and the of course, the Guiness is excellent!
The staff were great and an ideal location.
nice garden views and breakfast
I liked the convenient location. The staff were most helpful. It was my second stay and I would go again.
It would be useful to have a mini fridge or a facility in house for evening meals.
Love the quaintness of this lovely hotel. The staff are fabulous, always willing to answer any and all questions and go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied. The daily breakfast served is fresh, hot and satisfying. Can't ask for more for the price you pay! HIGHLY recommend for all but those who can't do stairs.
When carrying suitcases to upper floors a lift would be great but considering the age of the building, understandable.
Excellent location! The hotel staff were extremely helpful. Our luggage did not arrive on our flight and the hotel staff helped us contact the airlines and made excellent suggestions on where to buy necessities.
Breakfast was nothing to brag about- dining room too small for the crowd.
My stay here was very comfortable and the location is excellent with easy walk through St Stephens Green which is right across the road, to centre of Dublin and to most of the city. Beautiful park behind quest house. All good.
The hotel take care of your car until the next day at a very low cost. Comfortable beds in a quiet part of the hotel
Breakfast could have more choice, no fresh fruit (tinned) and there could be a wider choice of breads....maybe homemade?!
This guest house had all of the qualities that one could want, beautiful building, historical setting, and great location. I would choose it again and recommend it without hesitation.
Cooked breakfast didnt start until 8am....not an advantage if you need an early business start.
Small room. Renovations going on and smell of paint nearly knocked me down. TV didn't work.
