A good central location. A good breakfast.
The bedroom was uncomfortable. It was way too hot, and stuffy. We found it very hard to sleep and the room was also far too small for 2 people. We would have liked to buy a glass of wine from the guest house as we had travelled a long distance.
The eggs and sausages
The area: Central and next to the lovely Stephens Green The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in
Bathroom was a bit dingy - needs refurb. Breakfast wasn't the best - but the Brazilian waiter was lovely, so friendly and smiling
Very convenient location and assisted parking is very helpful. Room very comfortable.
No toilet paper in our bathroom Cooked breakfast was only alright
Very disappointed with tiny room !! Unlike previous visits.!
Staff were pleasant and location was good.
I left my iPhone charger in my room and phoned back to retrieve it and it was no where to be found !!! Bashed my toe off step in the bathroom. Health and safety concern as I sustained a bad toe injury.
Staff were very welcoming and obliging. Room was quite spacious.
Although toilet and barroom was spotless, we found these facilities quite squashed.
The heating wasn't on in our room. No blankets for the cot or our bed, otherwise it was great
Location was excellent, reception staff were very very friendly and helpful. Very cosy
Breakfast service was a bit unorganised, otherwise all good.
Room was warm, had to ask for heat.
Great location - so convenient. Breakfast was lovely and staff were very helpful.
Needed more towels Needed more pillows

The reception staff were very helpful and polite. The hotel really is a pretty place in the heart of the center.
The guesthouse was very good with a good breakfast and overall facilities. It was well situated in terms of where we wanted to go. The staff were excellent.
Location and price . Very good value for December
Excellent value for money . Location fantastic . Valet service for car made driving into city centre pleasant . Would stay there again!
Location Bathroom Warm and cosy in winter Hard working staff in dining room for breakfast Helpful recommendation at reception for dinner/ dining
Period property with shoddy/ poor restoration work on windows and doors Maintenance issues Location of dining room Presentation of breakfast Paid for valet service but was not available on departure date so had to collect the car ourselves
Location, quietness, comfort
Breakfast is only served between 8-10am which is very early to finish especially on the weekends
The room, the facilities, the dirt. Issues with security, the cost. The 4 star rating.
staunton's proved a fine choice for our six nights in Dublin, a grandmother and two adult granddaughters. It was clean and welcoming and very well located.
Loved the ambience of the old Georgian House. It felt like being in a private home and not an hotel. We were in the original building . It was also very cosy and warm and our bedroom was spacious with a garden view..
The lack of a lift as my husband had mobility problems.
Car parking excellent and thoughtful - well done. Breakfast good, room comfy. What more do you need?
Nothing - did exactly what it said on the tin!
The location of Stauntons is excellent but it is only a basic B&B and nothing more even though the exterior would suggest otherwise. The shower was excellent with instant powerful hot water. The bed was quite comfortable.
Upon arrival, we found the receptionist to be unfriendly and disinterested. Our room which was on the ground floor was smelly and our double doors led directly to the back garden where there were workmen who could see directly into our room. Outside our bedroom door, there was a hallway door that repeatedly banged from very early in the morning. We brought this to the staff's attention and again they appeared uninterested. The bed linen also had a bad odour.
