Enkelt, men rent og stilig hotell, ikke luksus, men "koselig", hyggelig personale, god frokost, bynært. |

Hotellet lå i et stille området, men det var bare 5 minutter å gå til shopping/severdigheter/pub, det var derfor bra hvis du vil ha en god natts søvn, men samtidig få med litt byliv. |

Everything but the parking, which was easy but cost extra, was excellent. We were there on Halloween and despite Dublin being at full tilt, Stauntons was a quiet retreat away from the craziness on the streets. |

Room was beautiful, & bed was very comfortable. The view onto the garden was real pretty, also hardly any noise for the middle of the city. Breakfast waitress was so nice, such a pleasant woman. The bathroom had a very strong smell of Damp & room a bit to warm, but none of the above would turn me off staying again. Thank You |

The room was lovely (it was in the old part of the house so beautiful period features). The room very big, warm and comfortable. It is slightly in need of updating, furnishings, tv, etc (though I understand that parts of it are currently being upgraded). |

The location was perfect and just a short walk from attractions. The personnel there were helpful and friendly. There were a few things in the bathroom that needed maintenance but considering the age of the facility it was in good shape. |

Convenient to main shopping/restaurants, very comfortable and peaceful.Reception staff were very friendly and helpful as well as waiting staff at breakfast which was lovely. Car was parked for me and brought back to the door on checkout for an extra €10. would be great if there was a bar. |

Great location from St Stephens Green, rooms spotless clean and fresh. Staff were excellent and friendly, called them few days before stay and was allowed to check in little earlier due to a family wedding so was able to get washed/changed. Did not have any breakfast next morning unfortunately. |

The main advantage was the close proximity to Dublin City Centre, a short 7 minute walk. The rooms were very basic. TV didn't work. |

We stayed on the third floor in the main building. The room looked out over the park at the back, lots of green trees which was lovely. The room was spacious and nicely furnished in a traditional style. There was a bath/shower and there was always plenty of hot water. One of the best parts about the place was obviously the location. The tv in the room didn't seem to work, but I didn't go to Dublin to watch the tv so I wasn't bothered. Also there seemed to be no specific luggage room to leave the bags after we had checked out, just a lounge to leave the bags in where people were free to come and go, although my friend was able to have her laptop bag locked away. Generally for the price and location it was reasonable. |

The location was excellent, the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The rooms at the back were quiet. You could hear everything that was going on in the room above you. |

The helpfulness of the staff was the most pleasant I have experienced in many years. The cleanliness was excellent. The location excellent. The view to the backyard was beautiful and it was a quiet and restful night's sleep in the back of the hotel. The bed and pillows were perfect for my bad back, not too soft, not too hard...that is rare when I get that. I liked the corridor carpet. Seen from an architect's eyes the hotel only slightly lacks in artfulness to raise it to 4 stars. Breakfast was lovely but for the international traveler a bit too poor. The eggs are nicely cooked to order. But the beans are poured straight from the can, and a rudimentary cooked tomato aren't very stylish. The door to our room - you could see a lot of light through the cracks while sleeping, and it didn't block sound from the corridor. We were lucky occupancy was light. I wonder about the security of the door. The lighting in the rooms is too much in one's eyes, not good for reading. The room decor was - almost stylish - not quite there. A couple of slight design changes with furniture and bathroom could have made a big difference. |

Hotel was good. Recommendation for dinner at Foleys was very Bad. Foleys was the worst experience on our 4day trip in Ireland. |

Good location for shops in the area ..easy access to bars and restaurants around the green too. Very noisy by the road from 6.15 am onwards so if you want a big nights sleep forget it |

Breakfast was very nice and they were even willing to prepare the breakfast earlier when we went on an early tour. Location very central to city center (walking distance) / transportation. Staff was very helpfull and friendly. If you have a room at the garden site, you will not be bother with traffic noise. Can be a bit noisy due to the structure of the old victorian building. But this is mostly the mistake of other guests. |

We were staying in the new wing which has partition walls so it was quite noisy in the morning from 7:30 onwards. This was my only fault however! |
