Staycity Millennium in Dublin is in a great central location just across the river from the Temple Bar district. Easy walk to just about everything. Apartments situated in a courtyard type area with restaurants, coffee shops and groceries right outside the door. Very convenient. Apartments very clean and bright, great views of city from every room. Helpful staff. The only problem we had was that there was no hot water for showers and my daughter and I ended up having to heat water in the kettle and wash our hair in the kitchen sink. The staff did try numerous times to correct the problem, which had something to do with a timer on the water heater for energy efficiency, but we only got hot showers once the entire time we were there-the rest of the time it was barely warm, or ice cold.

The only thing that was good about this place was it was close to get to other places, bus, shopping and restaurants. With staying with young kids, this place was too loud at night, not sound proof at all. Beds and pillows were not that comfortable. It wasn't the cleanest. Once we got the heat going, it wasn't too bad, but did not like that there was no heat in the bathroom. Plus you had to set the heat for the water and there really wasn't much hot water and had to shower really quick. With having young kids, it wasn't ideal. It really wasn't as nice as the pictures make it look. Furniture was not in great condition. Would not want to stay here for more than a couple of nights and we would not book this place again or tell anyone else to book it.

The staff were amazingly friendly. On multiple occasions we went to speak with them about places to eat/drink/see and ended up chatting for the next half hour. The hot water booster system was very lacking. Often ruining our of water before everyone had a turn at showering.

We were upgraded to a two bedroom apartment which was good as my son is a teenager ' great location right beside the luas handy for gettin to the o2 Unfortunately I didn't use the second bedroom as the CUSHIons on the bed were filthy and made u think about how clean was the apartment if general. Wen we arrived to our room the tv was on and lights which made my son very uneasy as he Thought someone was in their and he Was Very unsettled for the night.

The staff in the Augusine street were extremly friendly, the facilities in the apartment were fantastic we had everything we could have possibly needed with no hassle what so ever We were originally supposed to stay in the millennium walk apartment but were then unable to due to renavations being done on our room. We did get a nicer one on Augustine street for the same price but still would have perferred the millennium walk as it was far more accessible for us and we couldnt find the Augusting street apartment on the way home so we had to pay for a taxi. All in all though I would definatly book these apratments again. I have made another reservation for Millennium walk for next month so I will be looking forward to it

Location was very good. There wasn't any hot water in the shower! Disgraceful! The apartment was really noisy until about 4.30 am. Too many rules ie you must wash and put away any crockery you use. 200 euro fine if you lose the key. For all these rules you'd at least expect hot water!!!

- the bed was clean and comfortable - the kitchen is ok and was cleaned well; - the first impression is a “reception”, a very small counter in a shabby, cold and draughty staircase with a nasty smell; - the apartment was relatively old and partly shabby, especially the bathroom including the water heater, a 2 meter high thing in a cubicle that emits an enormous noise like you are standing closed to a steam engine – unbelievable; - trying to make up for this the apartment obviously had been cleaned with very strong cleaning agent. When I first came into the apartment I could hardly breathe due to a strong smell of chlorine which lasted for hours in spite of heavy airing; - the window frames are partly extremely dirty; - the closets are old and broken, I opened one and a screw fell out - I needed Wifi, but when asking for it I first had to be moved to another apartment. The Wifi connection was extremely slow and it takes many steps to connect: opening the browser, clicking through several pages to be finally able to enter the password after having to provide an email address and other information I normally wouldn’t have liked to give them; - it’s not easy to find the apartment from Upper Abbey Street as there are hardly any house numbers. The “Millennium Walk” is a narrow, noisy and shabby alley; - (I saw another location of Staycity in Dublin which looked like it was in much better condition, but I definitely would not recommend the “Millennium Walk” location)
