Location to city centre, but very difficult to get to even by taxi. Very noisy even though away from high activity area.
Internet was appalling and mostly unusable. Advised to access an APP for tourist information as none was supplied and then the internet was unusable and had to resort to mobile phone with International roaming for any bookings etc. Would not stay there again!
Location was great, apartment comfortable, beds nice, noise not bad
No wifi access at all, Some of apt and communal halls very dated and damaged wood etc, needs lick of paint
Location right at the heart of Dublin Perfect for a group to relax in and enjoy together
A little bit dated but still very clean
Location location location. It was merely 100m walk to the canal and we walked everywhere we wanted to go in Dublin from the Jameson distillery to the football stadium.
Internet was awful. Couldn't really load a page within one minute; however, free Internet is everywhere in the city including te cafe and eateries right across the street from the apartment.
Easy walk into local hotspots, equipment and facilities good,
Very noisy at night. Poor sound insulation, allowed sounds of voices from street, into bedrooms. Cafe below was being fitted out by a team of fitters on the first night, working, through the night. Very noisy.
Excellent location for Temple Bar and Luas
The bar below is being refurbished. The drilling wasn't an issue during the week as it was only in day time. However, work continued all through the night on the last night of our trip. Very loud drilling and hammering went on from 2am until we checked out at 10.30am.
Location is great! Staff was nice. bed was comfy. Washing machine was a plus! Off season, last min. price was unbeatable. Was nice to have space and multiple rooms to move around in. Apt was clean.
Living room had a slightly stale cigarette smell. Furniture was a bit worn (one of the couches was actually a bit gross). Apt overall just seemed a bit worn, but we expected that based on the reviews. Wifi was pretty bad.
I booked for a 1 bedroom apartment and upon arrival they gave me a 2 bedroom apartment. The place was clean and tidy and really comfortable for a family with children. We felt at home straightaway. The only thing is the kitchen pans/cookware was not of very good quality but will do. There's even a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. The wifi us a plus but connection is a bit slow. Overall its a good value for money. Will definitely book with staycity next time we book for a holiday.
Wifi a bit slow. No nonstick pans means we food tends to stick to pan making washing difficult.
For an apartment, the location couldn't be beat. Bed was super comfy. Kitchen had everything you would need for a short city stay. Extremely spacious kitchen living area. 17 reasonable channels on TV. Friendly staff.
Wifi (though 'free') was particularly poor. Sofas aren't made for lounging about. Lack of automatic entry at main door was peculiar. Street noise does filter through.
Location was ideal for shopping and apartment was warm and clean
I was disappointed that I wasn't informed of building work underneath as it was noisy from early morn
Everything was good but the price for the weekend was bit high. Then three days works around the building started at 7.30 am. Drilling as mad. Then one day a builder which had to measure a window just knocked at the door and we were not advised from reception. We had no change of bath towels.
Very close to temple bar Cheap split between a group
Wifi is via Bitbuzz - no option to even select this and when registering it says 'not in a Bitbuzz location' Very uncomfortable sofa Very noisy - take ear plugs Single bed duvet very small Wouldn't like to walk the area on my own at night
1) warm n clean 2) washing machine with dryer 3) helpful staff 4) close to so many eating places n shops n post office 5) the most comfortable beds ever
The apartment is located above a licensed premises so noisy drinkers at night
Lovely apartment, warm, good facilities, great location
Location was perfect
We couldn't leave our cases anywhere after check out and before check out there was no free wifi and staff where very rude
Staff very understanding when we refused to stay at the apartment that looked nothing like the images.
Apartment smelled of stale cigarettes, did not look anything like the images. My business associate and I both did not feel that we wanted to stay at the apartment and instead due to the look and feel of the place.
Very noisey, and the entrance, stair case and hallways could stay dirty for 3 days without cleaning, 1st floor appartemnts should be cheaper due to more noise and streetlights
Shabby rooms, not matching images on the website Run down Security on entry - lapse
it's like a penthouse . Unreal .
Very good location, very good staff, and good appartment. Very good price value! Highly recommended!
Wifi hardly worked, one toilet and bath room for 6 persons not enough, and the toilet is in the bath room. Some furnitures were missing in the living room and bath room to put our stuff on.
Even though the location was good, it was very noisy.. There were people going in & out of the apt block all night & were very loud & even with windows closed it still woke us several times throughout the night.
Locality to the city centre attractions, shops, pubs etc was ideal.
The only downfall was that our apartment was right over the main mellenium walkway and the noise on sat night / sun morning was really loud. In fact kept us awake until about 5.30am! We coped OK but a family could find this a problem.
It was right in the middle of dublin and shops right outside the apartment doors. For cooking your own food or just eating out.
Location is great for town and transport. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Fairly quiet.
Needs a bit of a facelift. Felt grubby and seemed just a bit worn. Misleading saying 24 hour reception. The apartments are in several buildings and there's a reception only in one of them.
