Breakfast very expensive, triple room equipped for two only, volume on TV not working, air con not working and carpet grubby in bar. Staff at breakfast unfriendly ! Overall a 3 star hotel at 4 star price
Room situation very bad - little or no sleep. Wash hand basin in bathroom blocked for two days - had to shave etc in another room. Had to change room for second night.
nice big comfy bed Friendly staff
FINDING MY WAY FROM RECEPTION TO LIFT
Great location and very accessible. Staff were lovely and very friendly. The room was large and spacious
Reception staff could have been more friendly
Location Food In Bar and Resteraunt very good.
The decor soft and hard furnishings in room 86 were very poor.Definetly not a 4 star room
Very friendly and helpful staff, quiet inside the hotel with a very good WiFi signal.
Helpful and friendly staff
Thin walls especially with a wedding on until 1 am which we could hear. Badly insulated windows onto a busy road and large gaps in the bottom of the doors.
Coming from Wexford the location of the hotel suits us. We were going to St. Vincent's Hospital on Monday morning. We always stay there whenever we come to the city. The food in the bar was very good, tasty, service was excellent and it was good value for money. However, some of the seating in the bar is far too low for comfort. Our room was adequate in size but was quite a long way from reception - Room 97 and as my husband has MS and some difficulty with walking, we will ensure when booking again to request a room near the lift. All in all we were pleased with our stay.
Bar drinks prices were high - €5.15 for a pint of Smithwicks!
Rooms were good, staff were friendly.
Too expensive to get in and out of Dublin Town centre. We went to a concert in Bord Gais Energy Theatre and were ripped off by Taxi's, and the same happened the next evening when we went for a meal in ballsbridge.
Only got 20 minutes free wifi and then a charge of .14c per minute. In this day and age hotel guest should get free wifi. We are staying in the hotel on business and need internet access without charges. It was also had to get parking during the day but it got easier later in the evening.
The staff and location
Invalid Shower water ran into the room - staff gave us towels to dry it up -
Very pleasant staff, excellent food, including dinner-presentation first class! Convenient location, loads of free parking spaces. Air conditioned rooms.
Layout was a bit confusing, got lost coming from room back to reception at first! Very fluffy pillows-all fine until you have a neck problem and need firmer support!
Room clean with everything working.
Corridor noise in room, with room doors closing loudly.
The room was relatively cheap and comfortable. It was also easy to get to from the Airport via the Aircoach. Going back into Dublin the following day was also easy
Not much choice regarding TV channels No hotel guilde in the bedroom Room service was very slow (45 mins for a cheese sandwich)
Comfortable rooms and clean and bar staff were pleasent
The smoke alarm kept going off and i know this is a guests fault for setting it off however a quick knock on the door would have been appropriate by staff to say ifthe alarm was false or not. Desk Staff weren't too pleasent when i said about the alarm the following morning..she couldnt care less
Was on wait list and delighted to get call back and room as promised.
Location, ease of check in, friendly staff, good clean room, comfortable beds, spotless bathroom, good breakfast
Nice hotel, everything good. Facilities for going to Dublin for The day excellent.
Staff help ...particularly the shuttle service and breakfast staff
Nothing to suggest
Restaurant good value, staff very helpful & welcoming.
No swimming pool!
I thought the service at the bar was very poor. I waited 5 minutes to be served. One guy doing nothing did not notice I was waiting. Needs attention
décor old fasioned
The breakfast and cleanliness
Rooms a bit dated
Duvet worn . No bottled water in the room
Room was comfortable and clean. Plenty of parking on site so car was safe. We were visiting friends in Blackrock so the location was perfect. Nice to find live music in the bar on Saturday evening.
Only disappointment with hotel was that my bill was charged in sterling without asking me and the exchange rate was awful. Wish I hadn't been in such a rush to catch the early boat or might have noticed in time. Booking.com headline rates don't seem to include tax etc so £85 per night room costed closer to £100
