The hostess went to a lot of trouble to make our arrival and room most welcoming. A huge pleasure to stay.
Daphne and Pat are great hosts, who would do anything for you. Had a comfortable room and a terrific breakfast, what more can you ask? Highly recommended.
Location Food Comfort Price
Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and seemed to have thought of everything. The large lounge/sitting room that was available for us was a great bonus to a perfect stay. We would highly recommend this B & B to anyone.
Iv'e stayed in hundreds of hotels and b+b's over the years, and can honestly say iv'e never stayed in a better one.Highly recomended
Everything...this was our favourite B&B that we stayed at during our trip to Ireland. Great staff, great breakfast, walking distance to food and drinks. My wife wants to design out guest bedroom too look like the room we stayed in :)
Owner was very welcoming, rooms were beautifully decorated and clean, wonderful breakfast - a very relaxing stay. Would definitely recommend staying here.
a lovely place. and the best home made pancakes i have ever eaten. i recommand this b&b
Great service, very clean, delicious breakfast. The owners, Pat and Daphne go out of their way to help make sure your stay is enjoyable. My fishing guide was unable to take me fishing and with a couple phone calls they had me a fishing trip scheduled with a guide who fished on the Ireland National team. Food was delicious and made to order, and if you want something not on the menu Daphne will make it for you. Comfortable sitting room with a cozy fireplace. There is a pub that is a short one minute walk away where you can enjoy some good food and drinks. Enjoy all the beer and whiskey you like and then just walk back to the room. No taxi required and no need to worry about driving. Not only are the owners of the B&B nice, but so are the locals in the pub. I had several conversations with the locals over a pint or two. The only thing I didn't like was my stay was too short. I would have liked to stay for 2 more days of fishing.
Lovely friendly people, couldnt do enough for you, I would recommend to anyone.
Lovely hostess , delicious breakfast.
13 years ago, a couple took over a former sweets (?) shop that had lain derelict for 20+ years. Daphne & Pat have transformed a forgotten & unloved property into a safe haven for tourists. Or the stressed out blow-ins like myself to pause & take a breath in the rarefied air of Pat's secret garden while enjoying Daphne's blueberry & hazelnut pancakes like my granny use to make...
Having to return to the real world.
Hosts amazing! Made you feel so comfortable. Breakfast delicious. Would definitely stay here again.
We came here for a second time because of the outstanding service and comfort
The B&Bis unique and the obvious pride that the owners take in their establishment is praiseworthy.
The room was beautifully and originally done out. The breakfast was amazing but, best of all, the owners went out of their way to make it a pleasant stay. Thanks very much - we would recommend Stirabout Lane to any traveller in Ireland.
The whole place was lovely. The service and breakfast was wonderful.
Very pleasant and obliging hosts Location in town was good Great idea to have a walk-in wardrobe and keep suitcases out of the way
Lack of secure parking Small shower, difficult to get into Lots and lots of stairs
The garden was spectacular, bedroom was huge, bathroom very spacious and close to excellent restaurant.
This lovely and charming place had everything we could dream to have.. The hosts were adorable. They brought us to the place we had to go the nest day. The woman has a gift in cooking, our breakfast was perfect! The room was so comfortable, so nicely decorated, we wished we stayed there longer! This is definitely the place to go! Enjoy it as much as we did :)
OWNERS WERE VERY FRIENDLY, NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH TROUBLE. THIS PROPERTY WAS MORE LIKE A FOUT STAR HOTEL.THE BREAKFASTS WERE TOO DIE FOR. A GREAT PLACE TO STAY.
In addition to all the normal stuff, lovely garden in which to relax

That we did not stay longer.....
Everything was excellent and very friendly.
