Convenient location at walking distance from Galway centre. Friendly welcome and plenty of indications about the points worth visiting in the city.

Very nice and good B&B to stay for a trip to Galway or the area. We had a nice room (with seaview, because we stayed for at least 3 nights) and the service and breakfast was excellent!!

Liked everything about Sunrise Lodge very helpful, breakfast very good, rooms very very clean it was a very enjoyable weekend. Would definately go back again and would reccomend it to anyone.

Staff were exceptionally friendly, warm and welcoming. Room was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was perfect. Excellent all round.

Very friendly and personal service. Room and house very clean. Breakfast excellent, no waiting even though it was a full house, and good choice of breakfast foods. Tea and coffee service in room. Location also good and only a 20 minutes walk from Galway centre.

Husband is tall fellow and thought shower cubicle was bit on the small side. I didn't have that problem myself.

The staff in sunrise are warm and professional. And room is cleaner than my house. Everything excellent.

The location was wonderful, an easy walk to town, no time at all. Being just out of town the stay was quiet and had a beach view. Paddy and Joan were classy and generous hosts. Couldn't ask for more. Breakfast was superb!

Wonderful. From the moment we arrived the owner made us welcome - the location was just fantastic - views over Galway bay and islands - sunrise/sunsets magical (even in January). Room every bit as comfortable as any four star hotel - tea/coffee making facilities,comfortable bed with clean white quality linen.Bathroom immaculate - while no bath the shower was powerful and water hot.Breakfast was just right - fruit,yougarts,cakes and cooked breakfast to order (very tasty and no grease).I would recommend staying here - the owners deserve to get the buisness in these tough times - Olive and Dennis -Louth

I can honestly say there was nothing I would change about this B&B

Our stay at Sunrise Lodge was very good. The accomodation was just lovely as were the owners. The location is very picturesque & I would recommend it to anyone who wants to go to Galway.

Access was easy

Owner was a bit of a stiff. Not overly friendly and the atmoshpere was a bit uncomfortable.

Very friendly hosts, decent breakfast. Ample parking out front, not hard to find. We did not walk to Galway town so not sure how much of a hike it is; owner said 15 mins.

Salthill area seems in a bit of decline, though it was winter time.

It was exceptionally good. Hosts were brilliant. Walking distance to town. Spotless. Patrick even advised us tourist attractions we would have never known about. On a cold night even gave us an Irish whiskey to warm us up. Breakfast was fantastic. Recommend to anyone. Thank you both.

Hosts were friendly and helpful. Location - on Galway Bay and right between City Center & The Promenade. Easy walking distance to both. Comfortable bed, On-site parking

Shower a little small

The host made our stay a very enjoyable one. He made us very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was excellent.

The TV was very poor.

Welcoming. Helpful. Conveniently located. Easy to find.

The location was ideal for walking into Galway City and Salthill. Because it was opposite the sea it was also pleasant for strolls along the promenade. Sunrise Lodge was particularly comfortable and catered for everyone's needs with the owners being very hekpful with any questions we had. We would stay here again if we were visiting Galway in the future.
