Location, breakfast, welcome and beds all excellent value for price.
A warm welcome to an Irish home/B&B. Pedar and Joan were very attentive during our 2 night stay. Good local knowledge. Home is about a 20 minute walk from downtown but there are restaurants 5 minutes away in Salthill. Great breakfast.
Perfect location. On Galway Bay but an easy walk into downtown Galway or an even easier walk to Salthill pubs and restaurants. Our host Pedar was a true gentleman, he made us feel that it was his privilege to host us (when if fact it was our privilege to stay there). Breakfast great. I'd stay there again without hesitation.
That I only stayed there two nights.
We were given a room with a fabulous sea view. The room and bathroom was spotless with excellent wifi reception and comfy beds. We left early one morning on a tour and Peadar offered us an option of an early breakfast. The bed and breakfast is only a 20/25 min walk into Galway city centre and it's in a fabulous location to enjoy the city whilst also staying away from the crowds.
Absolutely nothing! Great value for money and with a real personal touch. Highly recommended!
The proximity to downtown Galway Parking was free Breakfast was included Hosts were very nice
The bed was seriously the most uncomfortable bed we had in all 16 nights in the UK. Nothing but springs covered in fabric... There are several B&B options in Galway. (After staying here we looked into a few others.) I don't really feel like we got good value for the money we spent on this one. It was pricey based on it being off season and the other options in town that were available.
The hosts were excellent, the breakfast was lovely. Very central to everything. The room was a little cold but everything else was more than good. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
Very comfortable, immaculate home. Special touches like breakfast served on fine china, upscaled bed sheeting. Hosts were so nice, and hospitable. Went out of their way to be helpful with last minute planning. Great location for a stroll along the bay.
Although centrally located, exact location is a little tricky to find due to unfamiliar ways of reading road signs. Advice: have clear idea of where you are heading before dealing with city traffic and street signs.
The staff was incredibly good. The husband/wife combo really knew how to host and cook a mean (good) breakfast! They'd been in the business awhile, and we could tell. Beds were very comfortable. The location was a nice distance from downtown Galway, a long walk or a short cab.
Padda and Joan were very helpful and welcoming. In our 3 nights with them they gave great reccs on areas to travel to and where to eat/explore. Lodging was great and room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good as well and had good variety, crossings were great.
The shower pan would fill up quickly so showers had to be quick.
Everything was very good
Very small shower box
lovely couple so friendly and kind .Breakfast great. room clean and great balcony to enjoy the views of the bay would stay again
We really enjoyed our stay here, even if it was only for two nights. The hosts Peadar and his wife Joan were very lovely and always helpful. Their self-made breakfast was really nice and the rooms comfortable and clean. Thank you and keep up the good work!
Very helpful and pleasant hosts.Easy to get from the city center.Good and tasty breakfast.WiFi works well. Neat and clean rooms.
My lived in the room downstairs beside the kitchen. So from 6 O'clock pm you can listening to sounds from the kitchen.
The hosts of this beautiful place were absolutely welcoming and lovely. The rooms were spotless and breakfast was wonderful.
Mr Peter and his wife make wonderful hosts .. A very comfortable and a beautiful location .. Time just flew though was a solo traveller .. Lovely breakfast in the morning .. Peter even helps you with tour plans if you feel lost ..
No complaints ..
Peader's hospitality & good humour were outstanding. Breakfast was a real treat with plenty of choices & freshly cooked hot dishes.
The walk into town in the rain.
Excellent service provided by owners.....wonderful breakfast.Accomadations were very clean and comforable.
Excellent location, extremely helpful owners, lovely room with a view and spacious bathroom. Best breakfast we had in Ireland
We had a seaview room with a little balcony - very clean and charming. The host was awesome and spoke many languages! Breakfast (esp the scones) was great.
The owners are both so welcoming, we enjoyed our time. Good breakfast and not a far walk to the main town area. Like the hardwood floors in the bedroom and attic window.
Bathroom was a little dated
Location and friendliness of owners.
