Excellent Hotel friendly staff food great . Can't fault it . Leona and Keith Byrne
Nice room good breakfast with nice staff
Nothing only maybe should have stayed longer
We enjoyed the whole experience, this being our second stay in the hotel, I can easily see it being our favorite place to go and relax
Reception excellent,barfood excellent,warm friendly,homely atmosphere.beauty treatments excellent!
First bedroom not satisfactory, whirlwind blowing through bedroom door, but we were moved promptly.
The staff were very friendly on arrival
The hotel in general is very tired looking, grubby carpets, stained bath and grouting, shower mat very badly stained, was disinclined to have a bath. Generally quite shoddy. On arrival I asked for a top sheet for the bed, 6 hrs later it still hadn't arrived. Wouldn't stay again. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Needs a total overhaul.
The staff were very friendly. The atmosphere and food was excellent. The hotel was extremely clean.
For the price I felt the room was very small. Also maybe allocate a family time for the pool as we were not able to use it as it was too busy and asked to come back later.
We were greeted by receptionist Ruth with a smile and made feel at home
The room was 110 euro for the night for 3 of us...The room was very small for that price
I reported the broken toilet on my arrival a few minutes after I booked in again I reported to reception on Monday and Tuesday however it was blocked Tuesday when we booked out so we used the toilets in reception. I reported the phone not working Sunday night and again on Tuesday it was still not working on Tuesday when we checked out. On Monday evening we went for dinner and both adults didnt like any mains on menu so we asked if we could get somthing from the bar. It was mention a pizza or burger we could swap from menu however we were charged for two mains at the end if dinner. I had already paid for dinner when I booked in.
The staff were pleasant and helpful
the room decor is a bit tired but the hotel business has had a tough few years so it is not a real problem
The reception staff were so helpful
The service in the bar was poor
Lovely location near the sea. Staff were very friendly and helpful and even though we stayed only one night it felf like a holiday.
There was a bad smell from the gents toilet near the restaurant when we arrived and throughout our stay. It was very disappointing that this was not remedied as this is a high traffic area for staff as well as guests. Another reviewer has commented on the clammy clingy shower curtain - this happened to me too - move the rail or upgrade to a proper glass shower screen.
Excellent friendly staff. Location great. Food very good. Room comfortable but on other occasions were given bigger room.
Toilet plumbing very poor. Reported problem to staff on departure but they are aware of the problem and apologised.
Breakfast delicious. Staff friendly and helpful. Room comfy and warm. Good value.
Corridor and bedroom needs updating. More variety for breakfast e.g. Pancakes or waffles.
Most of the staff art exhibition décor
The temperature in the restaurant in the morning it was too warm
Lovely hotel and lovely staff
Staff friend Pleasant Atmospher Good leisure facilities, (no shower gell in any of the dispensers in the showers in the leisure centre)
Location Close to all amenities. ( no pedriestrian crossing outside hotel, try to cross the road at a bend on the road to get to the car park) very dangerous.
Bad service provided. Understaffed on Sunday. One person in Reception with 2 large groups and other people checking out in the morning. 4 star and no mini bar in the rooms.
position, room, breckfast
Location, sea view. Early morning walk along harbour, just outside the front door. Breakfast, plenty of choice, good service.
Room a bit cramped, bed not particularly comfortable, lift slow.
From the moment we stepped into the hotel until we left we were very impressed with the hotel & staff nothing was too much for them. Bedroom & bathroom were very clean & above all the bed was so comfortable it gets even better the TV was the best we've come across in any hotel glad to give you praise it's well deserved we WILL be back SOOOON THANKS
View from the room was overlooking air conditioning units on top of a flat roof - ugly
Staff and services are the best we've had in Wexford town. There are other places further away from town as nice, but for downtown, this is as good as it gets. Tried most of the hotels in town and this one is as close to the Ritz as you are gonna find in Wexford. Great pool and leisure center in back too!
The food at the restaurant is pretty mediocre (and that may be on the liberal side of the definition). Menu is geared toward older crowd. Items on menu are not accurately named/prepared. Also nightly entertainment is geared for an older crowd (a karaoke guy who sings 50's songs like Wayne Newton, etc.). While that may not be a *bad* thing... if you are younger, be prepared. If you are looking for nightlife, this is not the place. Just stay here and go out to have a good time.
Lovely food friendly staff, nice break
