Location and staff were great but value for money was poor costing €100 per night for a couple, P.S. I changed my booking from a single to a double when I arrived. Regards John McNamara The price!! We stay in Dublin on a regular basis and it only costs €70 - 80 per night for a couple

1. Location - Opposite the harbour, easy to find and a good base from which to drive around the spectacular coastline and scenery of Donegal. Don't be put off by the location, thankfully the motorway network does not reach this far to the Northwest, but the main routes are still good. 2. Staff - Very friendly from arrival to departure, restaurant and bar team especially so. If the weather conditions are so bad that the fishing fleet is forced in for shelter avoid rooms with a view across the bay, we asked to change to the opposite side of the building as despite double glazing the noise from the boats generators may well disturb your sleep.. Although we did stay over the weekend of January 20th-22nd.

Location was nice - able to watch the harbour. The kids enjoyed jumping on the beds. Bar wasn't open which led to a pretty flat atmosphere even though it was a Friday night.

Modern hotel in a good town centre location. Good sized room and bathroom. Staff were helpful although we didn't ask too much of them (information or attractiona etc). Breakfast was good and the service fairly quick. A small amount of noise from outside. We were overlooking the harbour so perhaps this was to be expected.

Service and standard (rooms, facilities, etc.) are very good for a low price, central location at the harbour, and short distances to an amazing landscape, ... but you must like busy harbours with sea trawlers loading at night just 50 meters from your room when booking rooms to the harbour view

Breakfast waitress and rest of staff very friendly and polite. Breakfast on the 1st morning was excellent. Hotel facilities were also excellent. Restaurant menu variety was poor and waitress "friendliness/politeness" was so over the top it was annoying. Poor attention to order detail left me unable to eat a lot of it:-Left hungry. Cooked breakfast 2nd morning was inedible.

The hotel is a comfortable place. The staff are welcoming. The parking is a problem and difficult. The town is hard to walk around in with the traffic, so for this reason I would not recommend it for children. The town has a lot of potential all the businesses are very welcoming; it is just the difficulty of getting around it.

The reception staff were friendly, Our stay was for just one night, and we did not use the bar so difficult to comment further. I was a little disappointed if honest. I had booked on line at a rate of 75 sterling for two rooms a double and a twin, we were given two doubles. The spa area is definately in need of atttention and upgrade and was not somewhere we felt particularly relaxed in. Breakfast selection for those not wishing to have a cooked breakfast was more limited than I have experienced in many other similar priced hotels When checking out I was charged a higher rate than that booked ahead on line.
