Proximity to Ferry port. Food was excellent and portions were very generous
Hotel close to RDS Easy parking Good value for money Good food
Very close to UCD. Friendly staff. Average value for the money.
Not so clean, mold could be seen on the walls of the room. Paid wifi is also something strange in this times and age.
The location was good for my purposes, close to St. Vincents Hospital. Bed was comfortable and plenty of hot water
Room was dumpy - no atmosphere, TV stuck in one corner of wall, paid parking, breakfast poor, poor interaction with staff.
bed very comfortable staff friendly room was warm location was brilliant
bar food was not the best for money, chips were over cooked. milk in room was gone off.
The room,bed, location and view
no stopper for the wash hand basin. The breakfast was a rip off. The car park with two ticket machines that didn't work and the threat of clamping.
Very nice and all we three family couples required. Nice bar and food was great. Very friendly bar and management.
lovely clean friendy hotel
Parking charges a little untidy outside bins not emptied not a good first impression
The finest Caesar chicken salad I have tasted On the Aircoach route
No swimming pool
location and price. friendly staff.
Stayed with my sister at the hotel for 2 nights. Although room was basic, it was very comfortable and clean. Tea and coffee facilities in the room which was a god send, and even had a lovely view of the bay! Hotel has great location.... bus stop outside taking you into city centre!
What can I say? The staff at this hotel were second to none!! This visit was a surprise for my husband and I had been in touch with the hotel before hand for a few special requests. They did everything I asked for and the room was beautiful, very spacious..top floor overlooking the sea!
UC Dublin Belfield campus is within walking distance. There is a bus stop directly outside the front door that runs north to Dublin city center and south to Blackrock.
The property is showing it's age. There is very little in the way of food or entertainment nearby so you have to take the bus or a taxi unless you wish to eat in the hotel.
Lovely view across the sea. Comfortable bed with adequate pillows. Tea and coffee facilities in the room.
A noisy lobby with canned music and two loud sports commentaries in the adjoining bar area. Very self service breakfast necessitating numerous trips to obtain all elements. Tables not cleared until one left the table for good.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with anywhere at easy access thank you
Proximity to clinic good. Beds comfortable. Good value. Bar/food staff helpful.
Hotel needs some refurbishment. Parking fees for overnight say .Reception not adequately staffed.
The room was bigger than expected and the breakfast was reasonably good. There is also a bus stop outside the hotel and a nearby dart station.
Instead of having a view of the sea, as we hoped, we had a view of an ancient graveyard. Furthermore the curtains were disgustingly dirty and covered in bleach stains. If all you can see from a room is a graveyard, the least you can do is provide clean curtains. The room was also dirty and there was mold in the bathroom and there was a massive build up of dust hidden under the furniture. Drawers were mostly missing handles. We requested also that room service remove an extra bed from the room but despite promises they didn't come. When we politely mentioned the issues to the staff they tried to defend the hotel. No discount was offered.
Food, room, hotel from inside
Hotel from the outside, we were shocked
The price was reasonable but no breakfast was included and had to pay for the carpark. Next time will pay more and stay elsewhere.
I got stuck in the lift, inner doors opened but outer doors wouldn't. Lucky i'm not claustrophobic. My girlfriend and I both ended up with insect bites on our legs which would suggest the bed most likely had bed bugs. There was a vending machine on our floor but it was extortionately overpriced.
Good value for money, good location , lovely breakfast :) helpful and hardworking staff
No hairdryer in room , furniture a little worn could do with an update
Staff really friendly, and let us check out an hour late when called reception to explain why. Comfy beds. Value for money
No aircon - quite warm in Summer.
was given a superior room hugh double room ,has everything you need hairdryer ,tv,toiletries, sheets were spotless, reception is lovely ,area not party area so dont be looking for great nightlife but busy pub and restaurant downstairs great
rooms are very dated would have been fabulous in 90s very dark wood curtains faded but i wasnt there for holiday so didnt matter if its a base to stay perfect ,will use again
The price was reasonable and the room rate did include breakfast The bus stops for the city bus and the coach to the airport were right outside the hotel making it very convenient as we did not have a car The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful The design of the hotel (lobby and dining room and bar area) was very cool and I would imagine this was once a very nice hotel. The bedding was clean and the bathroom was also clean - both very important factors for me
The rooms were old and in need of repair work. The beautiful big ledge under the windows needed to be sanded and refinished. The carpet needed to be cleaned as well as the windows and window ledges etc There was a burned out bulb in the bathroom and we advised the front desk but it never got replaced while we were there. While the sink, toilet and tub were clean, the 'corners' of the bathroom needed some cleaning with a little bit of good old fashioned elbow grease The carpet was not vacuumed very well at all
Location was good for my business meetings
Staff member was extremely brusque on arrival and appeared more interested in my parking been paid than seeing if I required anything. It felt cold and unwelcoming. I won't be staying again.
