Shower is a little bit too short. Room looks old. Windows was not clean.
Nice large room! Comfortable bed. Friendly Staff.

Breakfast was plentiful but need changing after 4days of the same. I have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions in the past, however I was very surprised to find there was no free hotel parking. This was a big bonus to the traveller. Very disappointed with the new arrangement
We had a fourth floor room and the view over Dublin bay was stunning.

Upon arrival, staff were extremely unfriendly . No hello or welcome to our hotel , all we got was NAME?? , when when we asked about the parking arrangements , the man was very short with us! Never in any hotel had i had to pay for parking along with the Bill for the night. On leaving we didn't get asked about how our stay was , all we got again was name? And keys please !! Bed was very soft and uncomfortable and room was way too hot , I got up at 12:35am to have cold shower that's how bad it was ! Breakfast staff were very helpful and pleasant ! That's my only good opinion of this hotel ! Not worth the money.
Only thing I enjoyed in this hotel was the buffet breakfast , I liked being able to help yourself.

Our first room in the 6th (606) floor had a broken window and garbage (empty pack of Zigarettes, pills, sticks) were lying next to our bed. Then we got a new room. This was worse because the interior was very old and used. The view in room 614 wasn't good - we saw the backyard of the hotel... The third room 604 was perfect with a big bed, a flat screen tv and a really nice view over the bay. The interior was better although it was old and used and part of it was broken (table next to the bed).
At the end we had a big room with a beautiful view and a newer interior. The changing of the rooms we had before was easy and we didn't have a any discussion. Both the dart station and the bus stop were very close.

no bad experience
The Staff very friendly which made our stay hard to give a bad review.

Electrical sockets falling out from the walls, basin taps in bathroom unstable, was told maintenance would fix problems but never did. Reception staff appeared rather bored. Only Earl Grey tea bags which are not for everyone but others were provided when requested. Overall a tired hotel needing a face lift and some enthusiasm injected!

the place had a bad smell, it was generally old and in a poor state of maintenance, the staff wouldn't help with bag and wasn't able to provide us with info on parking.
April 28, 2015
Room set up didn't make sense (ie TV position, dresser mirror too low). Noisy from busy main street. Lacking in details (broken bin pedal, towels not consistent for two people sharing room). Dated decor and feel of the place.

As above, the common touch by all staff in particular a young energetic duty manager on the night.
April 26, 2015
Wi-fi not available in guest room Breakfast only average Rooms a bit outdated needed a fresh uplift
Location to sandymount beach Great walking Overall clean but lacked sparkle
April 24, 2015
The price has gone up in 4 months from €69 to €89 and you can get 4 star hotels in Dublin for that price so not very good value for money
The view from the bedroom window of Dublin bay
April 19, 2015
A little worn around the edges, especially in some of the public areas; and some thought could go into the placement of furniture and plug sockets - for example, the kettle had a 60cm lead, but was 1.5 m from the plug socket, so we had to put it on the floor to use it. Not that big a deal, though.
Very clean and cosy rooms, amazing views over Dublin bay, convenient for the train and bus, but very calm location. Good tea.
April 17, 2015
Towels smelled dirty, curtains sun damaged with holes and hanging half of the rail, seating area chair upholstery ripped as if with knife (both chairs), generally rough interior. A fire alarm went off 5 times in the morning. Only stayed there one night thank God !!!
Bed was good size
April 14, 2015
Basic rooms, poor lay out , customer areas such as lifts not very clean. Limited residents area other than dining room. Bar food not great quality
Cost and suited me from a location perspective
April 12, 2015
breakfast (poor choice, bad coffee and watery juices), useless wifi in my room (one has to go to the lobby for a decent reach), outdated furniture, dirty bathroom curtain
April 10, 2015
Comfort of the room
April 9, 2015
Shabby appearance Broken furniture in room Very uncomfortable beds Stuffy, overheated room Noise of fans all night Location marked as 0.9km from Blackrock Clinic but was in fact 1.6km so could not walk (knee problems)
Reception staff were very friendly
