The view and comfort!
Cant find fault...
The view, the space and the cleanliness.
Cant find anything i didnt like.
Our hosts went above and beyond to assure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay on Achill. We even saw dolphins playing in the bay out our window at breakfast. We will definitely return here.
I loved the view, the quietness and the warm welcome. Its another world, and a very welcome retreat for the weary traveller.
The hospitality was great and our hosts Michael and Roisin were very helpful and friendly. Bedroom was super clean, location excellent, but the best part was breakfast: the best full irish you can get! Thanks
Michael and Roisin Lavelle were very nice and friendly. Love the common area for reading, etc. The Breakfast was delicious. We had two rooms for my wife and I and one for our daughters. Everyone gave the establishment two thumbs up.
The people, the location.
unique location & very friendly
This B/B was like home from home. Warm and cosy, very relaxed feel about the place. Fantastic home cooked breakfast in morning.Help yourself to tea/coffee and biscuits in lounge day/night which was very welcoming. Great location overlooking the sea.Our hosts Michael and Rosin couldn't be more helpful.Would highly recommend this B/B to others and would love to return again.
The location is ideal if you are looking for a relaxing an "outdooring" weekend. You can hire bikes directly from the B&B which makes it ideal to cycle around the island.
The en suite bathroom was really damp during our stay which brought a damp smell to the bedroom. It didn't help that it rained a lot during the weekend. We notified the host of this when we left.
great place while we explored Achill Island. Had never been there before. Teach was a great place to stay while there
Roisin was extremely hospitable and the breakfast was first class.
Roisin and Michael were so helpful and friendly! Nothing was a problem and I look forward to my next visit! Constant supply if tea and coffee and amazing breakfast!
I've nothing to put here!
The warmth of hospitality was very nice and we had the best breakfast in all of our travels around Co.Mayo whilst watching the amazing view from the front window. I do believe not many B&B's would match this one!
Having to leave!
-Proximity to Keem beach, probably the most beautiful beach in Ireland - Apart from the Atlantic drive, this is probably the next wildest part of the coast with spectacular sea / coastal views & crashing waves. Spellbinding. Could watch for hours. -For Hillwalking, the Dooagh loop starts abt 5 mins from Teach Cruachan & brings you over the hills into the "deserted village". If you're feeling energetic, from there it's a steep enough climb up Croaghaun mountain (+600 feet) to get a spectacular view of the sea cliffs -Breakfasts were lovely with 5 choices for the sweet-toothed & savoury-preferring - Roisin & Michael were extremely welcoming & full of info about the island. Friendly but also left you off to your own devices if that's what you prefer -A short 5 min walk to Gielty's restaurant & pub for food & live trad music - Free & fast WiFi - Lovely sun room where you could relax with the newspapers in the afternoon or just enjoy the seascape from the window
