Location Staff was helpful Clean Quiet Comfortable
Door to bedroom was tricky. Toilet seat was not secure.
Really Loudy, as our room was in front of a street with a bit of trafic, and with people screaming / singing by night ! A bit dificult to find too, at the main adress there is no sign of the hotel
Only 1 good thing about it is a location
No heating when its 0degrees outside is not acceptable
Room was very nice, comfortable and cosy.
Very poor pressure in shower, hard to shower! Rang few times looking for directions and no answer!
location was so handy for town shopping and going out.
Twin room was actually a double bed and a kids size bed. The shower didn't really work - took a long time to heat up, dribbled out the water and the shower head kept falling down!!
Location is good
No breakfast or tea/coffee making facilities. Hard to find as its above a take away.
Myself and a group of friends stayed here for one night for my birthday weekend in Galway. The staff were very helpful & friendly. The rooms were basic but spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfortable really cosy. After a night out around Galway we only had 5-10 minute walk to get back to our accommodation so the location was perfect. I would highly recommend this place for value for money it made our night in Galway very budget friendly. Next time we're having a night out in Galway we will stay here.
Everything was suitable for a group of friends on a drinking weekend.
The guesthouse is in a good location, about a 2 minute walk from the main city centre. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom facilities were very clean. The woman who let us in was friendly and allowed us to store our bags while our room was being prepared (we arrived before checkin time).
When we first arrived, I was very underwhelmed. It looked quite shabby on the outside and I was afraid to see the inside. Our room however was very nice, very clean and the bathroom facilities were also clean.
The location was great.
Had to ask the hotel staff for everything. The smells from the adjoining restaurant could be a bit overwhelming. Due to its "in the center of town" location, you got all the noise from the bar crowd -- like clockwork around midnight and then again at 2am. Again early in the am as trucks are making deliveries, etc. Room makeup was inconsistent
Location couldn't of been more central and perfect for what our plans were which included the town hall theatre and eyre square. comfortable bed with clean crisp sheets!
The room was tiny. No lights working in bathroom. Floor was sticky. Room was very dreary and one night was enough there.
Perfect Location (Town Centre), Clean Room, Friendly and helpful staff, Value for money
The location was excellent, the room was clean and beds were comfortable.
It was a bit noisy as it was near a busy street but ideal for a night out in Galway.
no dryer in the room
Location and price
it was a good location. on the edge of eyre square would stay here again purely for this reason car park straight across the road which was handy also
it was quite hard to spot. walked past it a few times. room couldnt get wi-fi
Good for the people who like to be near shopping center.
It was in downtown Galway. Short walk to most attractions.
Not being able to find it. The parking was terrible!
Location was great, right near high st and eyre square.
Picture misleading. Rooms small. Biggest issue was the damp floor. As soon as u rested ur feet on the floor they were damp afterward. It was worse after a shower and no window could be opened. Not a room you wanted to stay in - really needed to get out for fresh air.
The room was clean The personell were friendly
Depressing small twinroom Bad maintaince: fungus on the walls and ceiling; electricity did not work in the bathroom Very noisy rooms And that all for 69 euros without breakfast. The worst guesthouse I have ever had in Ireland
Really nice, little room. Great location. Comfortable beds. Delicious burrito!
Cleanliness Location Good Wi-fi Safe area Quiet
It's accessible and affordable - if you're travelling with a friend and in need of a place to sleep after a night out, it provides that with relative comfort.
Can be noisy outside.
Good location, clean friendly
Smallest shower could hardly fit. Noisy
Free wifi and location
This is a very old house, the smells were pretty bad and it wasn't particularly clean. It really would be a place just to put your head down as there's no real comfort. The walls were crumbling and there was evidence of punched holes that were badly replastered. Upstairs must have had a leak as there were rusted stains on the ceilings. The floors also had not been mopped. We understood it was a shared bathroom but the lock was broken with is very uncomfortable when sharing with another room! These also were not that clean
Excellent location relative to town
Very noisy at night, poorly soundproofed Clean but generally shabby
