Very good location! 5 minutes to train & bus station. 10 mins walk to city center and waterford crystal factory.

A little bit cold in room

Very convenient to explore the town center in Waterford. We were able to walk to everything. Parking was inexpensive but just across the street.

Very busy road. Rooms don't get quiet until well after midnight. Then street activity starts very early.

I like everything about the guest house we had are own keys so we can come and go as we please and as for waterford is a great please to go and i would go again.and the staff of guest house was very help full.

Breakfast was good. Shower was good.

The punch hole in the bathroom door.the headboard was not attached to the bed causing it to rattle every time you moved. The room was above a ally way where people where smoking and noise was loud. The base of the bed was stained as was the carpet.the tap in the bathroom sink was loose.

My room was spacious but very dirty.The mattress has seen better days,likewise the carpet and curtains.The whole building needs a total renovation.Also the bathroom facilities were totally unhygenic.ON a scale of 1-10 for bedroom hygiene -3

Staff at desk was helpful and shower had good pressure.

The place had an dirty feeling and was not impressed really at all with the room. Also very thin walls and could hear everything in other rooms.

Friendly reception - very helpful (with suitcase, visitor info & catching bus to next destination) Lovely hot shower with good pressure.

The room was big, Micheal was very helpful and nice. The location was very good.

The room was a bit old, needs a little paint job. The headboard was loose so it made noises every time I moved.

Excellent hotel definitely will stay again

I liked that it was on the water, a lot of history, easily accessible by walking.

The guy on the desk gave our spare key to another guest. While we were asleep we woke to someone opening our door, I think the poor guy was more scared than us when he was yelled at. We did get an apology in the morning, but still unhappy, couldn't get back to sleep thinking who else is coming into our room.

Cleanliness

We felt very relaxed here the manager was very welcoming, perfect distance from everything and priced very reasonably. Will stay again :)

The windows are like paper but at the same time was happy we had one :)

Was only here for 1 night on a stop through but very impressed. Michael the owner/manager couldn't do enough...very helpful. Superb breakfast and ideal location on the harbour. Very pleased with my stay here, highly recommend it. Lots of good pubs/restaurants nearby too.

The anchorage guest house is centrally located, there is a public car park opposite it which is €5 overnight. The staff were very helpful.

The bed was quite uncomfortable , headboard rattled against wall ever time I moved in the bed, my room seemed to overlook a back entrance to an alcove or bar smoking area as there was a lot of noise on the Saturday night, had to leave telly on all night to drown out noise. Breakfast starts quite late at 8.30 am however when requested they did provide breakfast at 8 am.

Upstairs location gave a great view across the river. Easy access to the city. Good conversation with the owner.

The window needed some maintenance so it could be closed to keep traffic noise out.

Michael was extremely helpful and polite. He had a great welcome and personality. I arrived late and his local knowledge helped me enjoy the local night life and in the morning the breakfast was superb. Also there's parking directly opposite the Anchorage so its perfect with its city centre location.

Its been a while since I had stayed and the tiredness of the room wasn't what I expected but Michaels welcome, the power shower and the breakfast made up for it.

welcoming and very helpful with regards to parking. very knowledgable about the area.and very friendly...courteous...when i stared a conversation at breakfast with fellow travellers, he asked if he would put my breakfast aside till i was ready.
