The facilities for children were excellent
A couple of the receptionists were unhelpful and just passed themselves. Even when checking out the receptionist didn't even ask if we had a good stay but it was clear she just couldn't have been bothered however a couple of other staff like the bar staff and manager were more than helpful and made up for the others
Laid back atmosphere but staff very professional and helpful great breakfasts and dinner in restaurant excellent
Towels in leisure centre too small to dry properly after using pool
the staff were excellent, especially the woman who served us fir breakfast brought me a big tray as my partner didn't come down for breakfast she even came and opened the lift for me as my hands were full, very helpful! lovely family friendly hotel!
Food bedrooms cocktail list. Great night away
Would of liked breakfast at costing €130 a night
The main thing was the staff were excellent and extremely helpful as I had my one year old with me. Excellent play area for the kids whilst having dinner. The hotel and bedroom suite was beautiful. I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to return.
Unfortunately they had a burst pipe so when we arrived at the hotel there was no water. The next morning our bathroom water was cold due to air in the system. This was fixed once reported but a bit of a disappointment as we were only staying one night. This is beyond the hotels control though so not necessarily a negative against the hotel
Everything works perfectly for us. - Room was clearly every day. - The food on the restaurant was perfectly. - The swimming pool and Jacuzzis works with no problems. - The staff was wonderful too.
Staff at Ballyliffin could not be more helpful or welcoming. Despite it being a year since our last visit we were recognised and treated like old friends. The leisure facilities provide an unexpected bonus is a beautiful rural location. Would not hesitate to recommend!
Well presented hotel with stunning views of the bay. Family rooms spacious, comfortable and modern.
Hotel was clean food was good staff friendly and helpful overall lovely hotel.
We're our room was there were fans running all night a wee bit annoying but other than that everything ok.
The restaurant and food was good Breakfast was just what I wanted
The room was to hot. The twin room was at the back of Hotel over looking machinery Which ran all night making it impossible to open the windows and get a good night sleep. We had three room booked and could not connect to the WiFi in any of the rooms Not connect to the WiFi
- Friendly helpful staff gave excellent service. - Quality & quantity of food at wedding reception & breakfast was excellent.
- Being asked to pay for stay on arrival, normally stay is paid for when checking out. - Understaffed for breakfast, 5 min. wait to be seated & delay in replenishing buffet.
Service very good, property very well kept, clean and tidy. Food excellent.
Out of the way.
Everything we expected, great hospitality, great food, fantastic location, the perfect place for a relaxing break
In a beautiful setting Staff very friendly and helpful
Arrived down for breakfast after 9.00am Food was lukewarm, this generally happens when you have the selfservice breakfast. In a 4 star hotel you would expect breakfast to be served
