Good breakfast (bar scrambled eggs on a hot tray buffet) Sensibly priced bar Positioning for city centre Arriving on the 1st night to be sent on a wild goose chase around the block by reception while they tried to conceal the error with the booking made by the hotel. Correct action is, "We have a small problem with you booking. Please take a seat and we'll come and get you when we've sorted it out. Getting back late on the last night having been out all day, to find no towels for a shower in the morning. I don't start chasing staff at 11.30 when I have an early start.

Friendly people, quick checkin/checkout, bar is nice My room definitely needed renovation. From what I understand, other rooms have been renovated already, but I had a very noisy fan that sounded like an idling truck!

1. Aircoach bus from the Dublin airport stops right in front of the hotel (and back), very convenient and cheap (14 euro return). 2. Very helpful concierge (David) 3. I arrived a little early from check-in time and my room was not ready, but the receptionist (Rebecca) was kind enough to give me a room after telling her that I came from a 22-hour flight and badly needed a room to rest and freshen up. 4. Complimentary coffee in the room 5. City bus #11, 46a, 145 stop at the hotel's doorstep Badly installed fixtures in the bathroom and old/worn furnishings; No refrigerator/bar in the room No temperature control in the room

The hotel was lovely, the restaurant, bar, reception area very inviting and good atmosphere. Our room was standard, and clean. The bathroom although clean also, could possibly do with a bit of work (around bath and ceiling)

Most helpful staff. We had a problem with a tap which wouldn't turn off and our room was changed promptly without fuss and we were given a complimentary drink. Great foyer for having light breakfast. Easy walk to shopping area and good car park reasonably priced. Nothing

The room was tiny! I booked an Executive room and was very disappointed that is was not what I saw in the online brochure and the room and the bathroom were tiny and that was a major let down for us.

The location The bedroom window didn't close and the noise from it meant I couldn't sleep. The foyer of the hotel had couches that were 'reserved' for business meetings and we had to wait for a table. Seems a bit unfair when we paid for two bedrooms. The carpark spaces were too small.

For a city hotel it was quiet at night and the next morning. No bin, bottle or delivery trucks reversing, or unloading!!! So it was possible to have a good sleep after a late night out!!!!! The bar is huge and it took a while to get served. But once served by pleasant staff it was fine..
