I didn't like having to pay for parking
The hotel was really nicely refurbished, the staff were great, room was lovely. Everything was immaculate. Drinks in the bar very reasonable price.
The hotel is a little too far outside the area of the city we like to go to, which meant getting a taxi there and back most times. Also we were allocated. Disabled access room, which does give a very large bathroom, but does mean the sink etc is very low and not very comfortable to use for my partner who is 6' 3".
The location of the hotel was great. The food and service in the bar was great. Overall very enjoyable.
I never give full marks to a hotel but can't fault this one. The most value for money I've had in years.
the beds was like sleeping on a brick wall never been in on bed so bad ...
Breakfast, location, lobby
Room stuffy and noise from hotel ventilation system outside was v loud.
Great hotel, prefect location, staff all lovely, checked in and received free hot cookies which was a nice extra bonus, stayed on new years eve and atmosphere was nice :) highly recommend this hotel and i will definitely be staying again.
The warm cookie on arrival was a welcoming touch. The room was lovely and comfortable. The television was great entertainment. The only thing we wish we had of done was get dinner there.
The hotel is reasonably central and it has good facilities. Room was standard business room and the bed comfortable. Nice and obliging staff. Did not have food there so I cannot comment.
There was a tapping noise at 7.45 am, obviously a workman doing some repairs on floor above. It went on and off for a couple of hours.
Staff Efficiency Food Comfort of room Warm
Drink was expensive in bar
Convenient to city
Staff are very very good pleasant & helpful... Much huge improvement in the staff & hotel in itself since being redecorated & new operator takeover which in a very nice ambience & colour scheme.
I didn't appreciate being woken at 6.40am by staff cleaning the room next door to me... Which was noisy... At 7am. I actually went out to ask them to stop.. Not acceptable when paying for executive rooms... Also asked for a quiet room when booking & had to move twice to achieve this.. Booking.com had confirmed this by email & telephone when I requested this, but the hotel didn't observe this request.... But accommodated this once brought to their attention. I am back in 2 weeks & have booked my preferred room already... Whilst the hotel had been renovated the windows have now & traffic noise can be dreadful at front & down the side for about 10 rooms.. But that's just me- others may not be bothered by traffic noise ... Executive floor isn't cheap rates.. So important to have a quiet room if that's what you require.
A BIT TOO WARM AT NIGHT IN BEDROOMS
Everything. Convenient to everywhere we needed to go. Well priced.
Water fountain in fitness centre needs fixing
Location cleanliness foyer and nice seating area for pre dinner drinks
Tiny single beds in room, room door tucked behind some kind of door on the landing Staff certainly not as friendly as the old burlington staff Room size generally small - I know it was a deal but would prefer to pay more for a decent size room with bed Breakfast charge ridiculous! 15 euro or 12 if you pay in advance car parking fee 10 euro for a guest!
Loved the free cookies on arrival, cleanliness friendly staff gorgeous hotel
Friendliness of staff. Facilities available. Atmosphere in hotel.
Please distinguish between breakfasts on check in. I was told breakfast was included, when I arrived down I was told it wasn't. Cue confusion. Eventually lead me to find out that the breakfast I paid for was only a continental between 7:30 and 9:30.
spacious and quiet room good breakfast low cost on site parkink
extra dry Martini single measure form the lobby bar at a cost in excess of 6 euro should have been a double measure also it was not well presented.
Bus stops outside door from town, surrounded by beautiful buildings, modern furnishing in room, free safe and teamaking ,and really pleasant staff.
Last week was freezing cold, and revolving door never stopped, forcing the cold air from outside to chill the hotel lobby.
Could not fault the hotel or its staff, great all round stay will definitely be back!
Great staff. Very comfortable bed.
Great food, ordered at the bar
Location - Just a bit far from the shopping streets for walking
Lovely look and feel to the place, very comfortable stay
While I loved the buffet breakfast, it really annoys me that you have to make your own toast. Lots of hotels do it like this but that does not make it right. Is it really that difficult to bring a couple of slices of toast to the table along with the tea/ coffee??
the staff are excellent and the rooms are big and the beds are comfort....
