The hotel was pretty central to Dublin, in a very nice part of town.

I lived down the street from the hotel for two and a half years. When I
had occasion to return for a quick trip I thought I would give the hotel
a try. It has an expansive lobby but the rooms and floors look tired and
worn. It once had a fabulous bar with extensive old-world woodwork which
the hotel inexplicaby removed for a soulless modern look. Overall, it
was a clean room and little else.

Budweiser on draught and the scrambled eggs for breakfast!

The fine dining restaurant was shut,but noone mentioned it even though I
asked for a reservation as soon as we arrived!...When I phoned down to
the front desk with a query they picked up the phone and slammed it back
down again!

I can not find one good thing to say about this hotel , staff were
incompetent and I could not find anyone in charge to make a complaint

I disliked everything about my stay in the Burlington , and I will
not return

I thought the appearance of the hotel foyer was beautiful, being newly refurbished. A very comfortable stay.

The water was lukewarm in the mornings for a shower, although very hot at night. Also the heated containers did not seem to keep the food hot at breakfast time.

Friendly staff, good breakfast

No air conditioning on 4th floor! Even though outside the days were
slightly cold, the rooms and corridors were very warm both day and
night. The fan we asked for was only useful to circulate the warm air
around the room.
