Friendly staff and very good food.
No lounge. TV in bar.
Bedroom very spacious and beds very comfortable. Food excellent and well presented.
Foyer could do with a revamp. Carpet dated and chandelier would be attractive.
Excellent, spacious room Good bar food and breakfast Friendly, helpful staff Central location to town
No private parking Slightly noisy in the street at night
very friendly and helpful staff. Modern, clean and comfortable room with en suite bathroom. Plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 toddlers to move around.
Lovely bathroom and very comfy bed. Just what was needed.
Bed could have been bigger.
Location Friendly Staff Cleanliness Food was nice and arrived quickly High pressure shower
Old style keys for room - no fear of losing it as it comes with a huge tag but it is a touch inconvenient. (Keycards would be much better) Ironing board I requested, although it did work, was a bit hazardous to use.
the staff made you feel welcome
Location central Room quiet
Latest evening meal served 20:30
Staff nice. Good recommendation for a restaurant
Wi fi was spotty in room. Late nite entertainment till 2 am was not anticipated.
Stopped on the way back to the Ferry. Great hotel in the middle of a lively little town. Staff were friendly and even provided secure space for our motorbikes in the basement of the hotel. Food was excellent.
Staff was extra helpful. They fed us after hours.
I could hear the music playing from the bottom floor.
menu choices ,hotel staff friendly and helpfull homely atmosphere
creaking floorboards overhead for most of the night and sound coming through walls bleary eyed in the morning due to above reasons.lack of armchair in room

Food in the bar on Tuesday night was very good. We had the burger special and enjoyed it and it was reasonably priced.
Wi-Fi did not work in the room. It was ok in the bar and lobby.
The staff were very friendly and the rooms were always cleaned.Food was excellent.
The wi fi was hit and miss it was a very weak signal. There could have been more channels on the tv.
This hotel is all about really friendly and knowledgeable staff with a "can do" attitude. Nothing was a problem and I felt totally comfortable throughout my first stay here. We were visiting friends in Portlaw some 10 miles away and this was recommended to us. I would definitely recommend it. Good full Irish breakfast and bar food too.
Very minor point but it's not the best pint of Guinness in town. This is slightly tongue in cheek because finding the perfect pint of the black stuff was a bit of a feature of the weekend. incidentally that can be found at the Cotton Mill pub in Portlaw.
