The location was good for our needs. The owners were very helpful. Breakfast was great and excellent sized bedrooms
Rooms were huge, lovely shower and very comfortable, especially after having just spent 3 nights sleeping in hostels! The owner was fantastic and shared the history of the house, very fascinating.
Beautiful home, beautiful large comfortable room with a stunning view of an old castle tower - we loved this B&B. The hosts were fabulous, food was superb - would highly recommend.
Lovely decor and furnishings. Joan and Pierce will make you feel right at home. The room we stayed in was very spacious and the beds were so comfortable. We really enjoyed the delicious breakfast too!
Unrelated to the B&B - but do not go to Corcoran's Pub down the street. I guess they could tell we were not Irish and they overcharged us for drinks (26 Euros for 3 pints! ). Stick to the other Pub (I think it's Bannons). Pints are not over priced and crowd was much nicer!
Beautiful house, breakfast & lovely staff
Location , comfort , good Irish breakfast
The helpfulness of staff and the quality of the information and travel advice. Excellent breakfast.
Setting, friendly and helpful hosts. Location really lovely. Breakfasts amazing with many extras. Can't speak highly enough. Sad to leave TwoMileBorris.
Great service and excellent breakfast. The rooms are gorgeous and it takes you back to good old classy Irish living. The husband and wife host are very friendly and welcoming. Our kids had great time running around the gardens amidst the beautiful green and flower beds
A tricky place to find if you are a tourist. Need GPS...
In our month of travels through Ireland this was the best B&B....great food, comfortable, large room. Joan and Pearce are second to none. Great location. Pearce most knowledgeable.
Good for exploring local area Great breakfast Lovely rooms Friendly staff
'Castle' wasn't accessible to explore, just a building on site. Not much to 'do' - would recommend short stay only. Was our most expensive night in Ireland and think it was bit pricey, particularly for location (understand City prices but this location feels in the middle of nowhere!).
Good size room with nice view, food and choice excellent, good location with friendly and helpful staff.
Nearby Rock of Cashel. Friendly staff and comfortable bedrooms. Excellent breakfast.
Very individual historical place, interesting family history, cordial owners
The spaciousness of the room and the scrumptious breakfast.
Fantastic b+b which we have been to before and will use again.
Nothing at all
The owners, Joan & Peirce made us feel so welcome and the cooking was excellent!
The squeaky floor boards but that can't really be helped due to the age of the house.
Friendliness and helpfulness when advice requested eg. restaurants, travelling to Dublin for the ferry. Breakfasts were lovely. In fact we enjoyed it so much on our arrival in Ireland that we booked again prior to our departure.
Can't remember anything!
fantastic place, friendly owners...I'll be back there in future
The facility met our requirements very well.
Great hosts Pierce and Joan Extremely spacious rooms Luxurious bedding and soft furnishings Good breakfast
Hosts were welcoming and very helpful about activities and eateries around the area, room was very comfortable and spacious, breakfast was delicious. I
We are used to a shower in our bathroom. This particular room didnt have one.
The owners PIerce and Joan were delightful, offering help on where to eat locally, directions on how to get there etc. The accommodation was of a very high standard and the breakfast the next morning superb
Pierce and Joan were the perfect hosts. They have a beautiful home that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Ireland! The Bed and Breakfast is located in a convenient location which makes many attractions highly accessible. Pierce' knowledge of Ireland was wonderful! He plotted out our route and gave us maps to and from every where that we wanted to visit. It was an excellent experience staying with Pierce and Joan and I will definitely visit them again, the next time I'm in Ireland.
The very friendly welcome and the helpfulness of the owners. The ambiance and the excellent food. In fact very hard to fault.
Thurles is not the most exciting of towns but there are loads of interesting places nearby such as Cashel and Killkenny.
