Location was perfect, easy to get to from the airport by bus and walking distance to most attractions. Price was good.
Room was tiny coated to what it looked like in the pics. Stairs creaky and paint peeling. Baggage storage was not a lockable room. Breakfast was not very good.
Great price for this clean and friendly inner city hotel. Old but well maintained
Had everything I needed for a night's stay.
Paying extra for breakfast.
The bed was very uncomfortable, bathroom was cramped. Ok for one night.
nice friendly reception, en-suite room was clean .. also with Wi-Fi and small TV ... I enjoyed the hot cooked breakfast with toast , coffee was nice good choice of cereal's... for the price.. good value..
friendly staff , good breakfast, clean room
no bad experience
The Irish night porter was a great helpful man who gave us lots of information on what buses to get and attractions ect..
Breakfast was not good, was all pre cooked and microwaved on arrival, the twenty minutes stated to cook it was more like two.
There was a draft from the skylight which, in January in Dublin, is not pleasant. Furthermore, there was no blind on the skylight so I was woken at dawn. With a head cold.
Good value Comfortable and convenient Excellent breakfast Helpful staff Pleasant room Easily operated shower
Had to get out of bed to turn off room light
very clean, great hot shower and bath, nice to have instant coffee , tea and kettle in room. so nice to have bed made and clean towels everyday. wifi always working great. friendly helpful staff. perfect location for walking to everything.
paperthin walls but what can you expect as you are in an old house and so earplugs was all you needed to get a great night sleep.
Friendily helpful staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Location was excellent basic but comfortable rooms nice and clean value for money would certainly stay there again and recommend to friends
If there's better value in Dublin please let me know because I haven't been able to find anything close. The room included full en suite with bath, tea making, iron/ironing board and wifi. Unfortunately I had to checkout at seven to catch a ferry so I couldn't avail myself of the seven euro full Irish breakfast but I'm sure it was exellent
The heater was apparently on a timer and not appropriate when you get up and it is freezing in the room
Location of the place. Was out most of the time anyway, so didn't really experience the accommodation. Overall comfortable place.
The breakfast was really good and the hotel was withinwmjbg distance to the centre of the city.
The ropm was absutely freezing and I had to sleep in my bed with my coat on. One of the other residents complained about the cold and was told that the hotel had been closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Excellent location. I enjoyed the homely atmosphere and the friendly staff. The included breakfast in the tariff made for a good value 7 night stay. When next in Dublin for a holiday I would choose the Charles Stewart Guesthouse!
Reception Staff were great. Very helpful. Breakfast staff were also friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious. Tv, free wifi and tea facilities perfect for those hangover mornings :-D
Unfortunately for me and my boyfriend we was in room 101. The room was lovely and cleanliness was great the only niggle I have is that we was next to the toilets which anyone can use, that itself was not a problem, it was the creaking pipes whenever the toilets were flushed during the night hours which disturbed our sleep. However only encouraged us to drink more Guinness to sleep more heavily
good location staff was friendly bed was compfy wifi
room was cold tab leaking hotel looks needs touch of maintenance and paint
Inexpensive. Near the Spire of Dublin, right across from the Garden of Remembrance. The room was warm and the water was hot.
Not as nice a part of town as the other side of the river but only a short walk to the other side of the river.
The BED !!!!! lol .
There was just 2 things - 1 . A Sticky Glass that was in my room that was not washed 2 . Wifi was very slow .
We have stayed many times and always find the cost to be very reasonable. The guesthouse has 24 hour reception staff who are very helpful. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable making it great value for the price.
Reception staff were helpful Price was good for 3 nights (but very basis) Location Discount on tour bus
The bathroom floor (tiles) was all cracked, could have been quite dangerous. Mattresses were stained. Breakfast over-cooked Television far too small for the large room, positioned completely wrong. Sink very loose Needed a freshen up, ceiling very dirty. Dining area very cramped.
We stayed for 2 nights, room was basic but clean and comfortable. Breakfast service was good and the hotel was in an excellent location. Would def stay again if went back to Dublin
Very friendly and mannered staff. The room was clean and nicely arranged. The breakfast was tasty. Very good location.
For the duration of my trip, no negative aspects to be pointed out, to be honest.
