In the heart of the Georgian city of Dublin, this 3-star guesthouse features traditional dècor and furnishings. It was built in the 18th century, and was once part of the Earl of Clonmel’s estate.

Score from 1533 reviews Very good
The location is good and close to restaurants and shops; it's no far from temple bar and quite at night as well as safe and secure.
The bed is not comfortable and make a noise when you move as well as there is no elevator and long stairs if you stay at second or up floor.
Terrible cramped shower room design and no radiator thermostat.
Location. Friendliness and helpfulness of staff. Cleanliness of room and lined
Creeky floorboards. No noise insulation between floors woke us up when the people in the room above moved. Too hot and no control of radiators
Staff very very friendly and helpful....great location.
decor needs a bit of tiding up as there was paint coming off the walls in the hallway
Receptionist staff Clean and comfortable room Location I'll definitely come back.
Location is excellent. Just off O Connell street right at the center of Dublin. Room was clean and quiet. Suited my needs.
It is an old building and it looks it. Room was a little small.
Very good locality, close to the center
Only irish breakfast - sausages, eggs, bacon and beans ... horrible Very small room
Location. Clean bedding.
Had to ask for hairdryer, skylight window, very narrow en-suite, old tatty furniture in small dark room. Could hear other residents snoring in next room. Didn't take the breakfast, looked at the set up and decided against it. Whole place old and in need of revamp. Not as good as St Georges a few doors up which was cheaper and included breakfast.
Most of the staff were very nice. It was an ok room. The breakfast is downstairs below street level was ok.
No parking close by. Lots of city buses come in and out in the front. We were on the first floor and the room was near a door to the outside that was locked but we didn't feel particularly safe. Our door when locked did not seem locked so well. I had asked a staff lady if the rooms upstairs were better and she didn't respond well - who knows! The room was sparse, bathroom was not totally clean, seemed old and run down. I would not go again here. But I like clean and newer.
strategic location close to the aircoach stop, reception 24h, I requested a room in the groud floor and I had it, clean. I definitely recomend it.
Central location 24 hour desk good rooms Breakfast was good
TV was around the corner from the bed
The service, staff and facilities were excellent. The bed was comfy and divine
Close to stop for airport bus Friendly, helpful staff Large room and good shower
Noise due to being on main road Windows need updating to cut down noise
just location: in front of the building there are many bus stops, main shopping area, restaurants, cinema, and the central bus station.
The guest house looks old, and no the cleanest in general. The room was tiny, the bed is in front of the door and right behind it's the toilet. The wall is so thin that you can hear everything (literally), went for one night, but if I had to go back again I'll stay somewhere else.
Staff very good and friendly f breakfast was good Think tho on s Sunday they could move to 11 am from 10am
The bathroom had two damage tiles on the floor which could cut your foot need to be replaced.add grout between tiles. Other than that everything was very nice
Irish breakfast, enough space in a room, comfortable duvet and free WIFI. Very reasonable with a good condition.
not enough facilities such as a hair drier or shampoo and conditioner, but it was fine. There's no problem to stay 1night or more.
literally everything, The staff were excellent and the breakfast superb. Next time I will be coming with my wife.
We arrived from the US on a 40 am flight and took the airport bus to the Charles Stewart. The bus dropped us off directly in front of the guest house. Check in is not until 1 PM but we were greeted at the door and offered tea, coffee, and toast. The gentlemen had us put our luggage in a luggage room and let us stay in a sitting room. We were in our room by 830. Staff was very helpful with recommending restaurants giving directions etc.
There is no lift so if you have a lot of luggage or trouble with stairs Ask for a first floor room.
Location was excellent, staff friendly & helpful, room & facility's clean, but basic.
There was a loose electrical wire hanging by the sink, no slip mat in the shower & the toilet seat was broken, we also kept getting a disgusting smell from the bathroom like sewerage.
Good location at Parnell Square, Large comfortable room.
Location is close to an important bus stop and to the centre. Nice breakfast, friendly staff.
My room was on the ground floor without a single window and air conditioning. It was too hot just to be there, not to think of sleeping. Also it was airless. I had hard time falling asleep and then woke up too early. This is all despite being October and rather cool outside.
How tight the ensuite was
Quiet room, good facilities for storage of luggage, friendly staff. Excellent location -easily reached by bus from Dublin Airport. Good, hearty breakfast!
Room was a bit basic - no windows, except a very high skylight, which they opened on my request, to improve ventilation. Ok for one night - would have been a big cramped for two people - especially the bathroom!
