Good central position. Room basic but very clean. Great for solo traveller.
I had everything I needed Staff were lovely Good location
I had a four man bedroom to myself, was not a big deal but got cold as it was big and only me in there.
No hassle staff good and efficient.
My pet hates were evident, baked Ben's that were only just warm and stewed horrible tea from a flask at breakfast for three mornings. It was not bad enough to make a fuss. I have used this hotel many times in the last year but I will not use it again.
Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The luggage store is handy.
Excellent, friendly and helpful staff. Location of premises very close to centre of Dublin. Good value - price very reasonable. Second time of using this guest house and I will definitely be using it again
friendly staff very helpful close to hospital
ground floor room beside main corridor busy and creaking floorboard in corridor
the locatiion is good...easy walking distance of Dublin's attractions.
The the room I'd booked (on the ground floor) had a window with no handle so there was no way of keeping it closed (it was a bitterly cold day, 6 degs) and of course it meant there was absolutely no security!). At least we were eventually moved to another, safer room after I'd pointed this out, and a staff member had failed to 'fix' it. My other complaint is that the heating only came on as timed, so although it was a bitterly cold day, we sat in our coats in the room until it came on. Our last complaint is the tv was in a high corner of the room, so it could only be viewed from one angle, that of high backed chair, it's nice to be able to watch tv in bed!
Very friendly staff
Heating could come on a bit earlier say 16.00
Location,brilliant breakfasts,gym workout climbing 4 flights of stairs,free wifi,goid service,warm hospitality.
Gym workout with the stairs...
Very good value. Basic, but clean, comfortable and warm. Nice breakfast. Have stayed there before and would most certainly stay again.
A bit crowded in the dining room.
Good facilities within the room, with a safe for security in wardrobe. Helpful staff, great city centre location, good breakfast, power shower.
Hot water tap was too hot, and would be concerned for young kids scalding themselves
Lovely place for a cheap price
Extremely small bathroom (difficult to even sit on the toilet and I'm not big) General lack of maintenance (rotting wood, peeling paint, broken shower door) Old, tired bed (slopes to the middle from both sides)
Walking distance to the city centre
Icecold bathroom, workers tools(!) in the bedroom, bad breakfast
It's location and staff friendly
Room bathroom speed of breakfast serving(too fast not slow) and sometimes Luke warm drains smell.
The location was excellent staff were very nice.price also very good.
The Breakfast was quite cold and the Tea was also cold.which is not what one should start the day on.also.our room window 107was where cars parked outside.which left us awake at all hours of the Night.
I asked for ground floor and I got it. Although the room was a bit small, except for a very tall ceiling, I needed not to go up stairs, so I was fine with that. I made myself a cup of tea and relaxed until I went out to the theatre. After a late night, I was glad to get an extra hour to check out no problem!
It was a little hot with the central heating, but probably because I am used to no heat. It would be better if one could control it.
Pleasant staff. Room clean and warm. Can't fault for the price.
I tripped over a step which was in a badly lit area and was badly signed. Room was dusty, freezing and the duvet was as thin as a sheet, no spare blanket! No cover on smoke alarm!!!!!! My fathers room also freezing, matress 4 inches bigger than base, lock on the ensuite on the outside of the door! Will never stay there again!
Room was cold and fusty
No hand soap
the location was perfect, with a bus station outside. the room was comfortable
a few spots in the room were not very clean. that' s all.
