The staff. Especially the two girls on breakfast and reception in fact all the staff so friendly. The breakfast was excellent-freshly cooked - no need to add salt - perfectly cooked and plently of everything.

The double room was more suitable for a single room. The bed was about 4foot so not adequate for restful sleep. Not great joy overlooking the graveyard.

very nice stay, the meal in the restuarant was one of the best steaks I have had, well done Chef.

Jessica was great, very helpful and eager to please. Facilities are very nice, in a great location for a good price.

Not a thing

We are really please we found The Coach House Hotel. We were mostly going by price but were amazed to find such a gem! There were a few negative reviews, no wifi, no-one on reception and small car park. Can I just say when we arrived there was no-one on reception. The reason became clear with a few seconds. All the staff are capable of checking you in and this showed in the fact that there was no early check in deadline. Having said that, Jessica, the 'receptionist' was really helpful and lovely. The restaurant is more a part of the hotel than we had expected and all the staff were on hand for any queries and help that we needed. As to the wifi, it is not advertised to be in the bedrooms, but is in all public areas, including the restaurant 'Basilico' which I would recommend to everyone. The chicken fagottino was amazing, I want the recipe for the mushroom sauce! Breakfast was great too and lots of it. Yes the carpark is small but our stay was over a bank holiday weekend and we got a space every night. We had to wait a few minutes at one stage while someone left but this just proves how good the restaurant is. All in all would highly recommend the hotel, the restaurant and Oranmore. Only a few miles out of Galway town and with its own charming thatched roofed pub and old stone buildings.

Everything about the Coach House. Accomodation immaculately clean. Staff most helpful and friendly. Food par-excelence. A GREAT experience!

Wifi was not available in room as advertised. Only downstairs in pub. No hot water in morning for shower.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant catered for gluten free and the meals were delicious.

Bar fridge in room would have been good and access to Wi Fi (not just cable for computer) would have been a great extra.

Minor inconvenience - limited on-site parking; having to lie in wait for an empty space following Saturday evening return to base - surprise, surprise!

The staff was very helpful, dinner at the onsite Italian restaurant was good.

I liked the atmosphere. It is a grand old stone building with a lovely restaurant and friendly staff. Our room was quite spacious and although it was situated at the front of the building overlooking the street it was still very quiet and peaceful. However we were staying on a Monday and Tuesday night which are hardly big nights out! Giovanni's pizzeria across the road makes the best pizzas I've had since I was in Italy.

Bedrooms a bit basic. Bathroom a bit tired and not terribly clean. Lots of dried flowers in rooms and on stairs - dust collectors and look awful. Not needed at all.

Absolutely superb experience. Beautifully designed, clean, elevator, great breakfast (included), parking, good restaurant, a few good pubs around, very close to Galway, superb service (if Karen is there you have no worries what so ever - the nicest person in Ireland), internet….We were a family with 2 kids and got upgraded for a small fee. Very recommendable!

It is located in a nice quiet location while still so close to the City. The Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The food was very good ,service excellent. The room was a bit small but comfortable. The car park is a bit small .

Very friendly staff. I was impressed that although I had booked a double room online - for comfort, they offered to reduce the rate to a single rate. Also, I needed to leave early in the morning and the staff went out of their way to ensure I got a breakfast!
