spacious nicely decorated room. Handy for main road to Dublin
very warm couldn't open window because of noise outside, not much choice at breakfast. Restaurant not very welcoming and very dark, no lounge.
Close to Galway and to Clarinbridge
Very handy to everything
The hotel was located outside of Galway town but easy to drive to and from. Hotel has great bar food & restaurant with charming staff and amazing breakfasts which my partner couldn't resist! Room was clean, sufficient space, and such a comfy bed that it was hard to get out of each morning but the promise of breakfast did the trick.
Sometimes it was a bit difficult getting a parking space as limited spaces , about 10-12, which catered not just for residents but guests for bar & restaurant. However we did get a space each evening just had to wait for a gap!
Cleanliness, location and very friendly staff.
Everything was perfect for us. No complaints.
Clean and comfortable with an excellent Italian restaurant also very good bar food . Staff very friendly and helpful. Near to one of the finest golf courses in Ireland and easy access to Galway city.
Stayed here a couple times, each time has been great. The rooms are on the small side, but this is a unique property and not a box hotel. Parking is great and free. Food is great in the restaurant and the breakfast is equally as great. Always nice staff. Not far from all the good sites, yet out of the city atmosphere.
I've been here before so I knew where it was in the town but the signage for the actual hotel is worse than last year, now it is covered in Ivy! Hotel looks like a bar/restaurant before you know its a hotel and drive by 12 times...
Location: In Oranmore Village Breakfast: Well presented and tasted good.
Sleep: My room (106) was over the kitchen and the extractor fan was audible and prevented me sleeping. Then there were bottle bins being emptied outside after midnight and people talking outside. I was on the first floor but it was so loud I may aswell have been on the ground floor.
A good middle place to jump from. Food anywhere in this place or town was great.
Room over parking area.
The rooms were comfortable and the bar/restaurant atmosphere was great. Staff were friendly and accommodating
The hotel suffers by our comparison with B&Bs we stayed in on the trip. We wanted a B&B, but couldn't get one that met our criteria. The busy location was a drawback and while car spaces were supposed to be available for us and another couple, they weren't on the second night, despite a strongly worded sign saying guests only (which the Hotel won't police)
The receptionist was super when we wanted an early check in. Our room wasn't ready, but she gave us another room to use on that morning. We got a delicious breakfast.
Our room just had a velux window. I was concerned about an emergency exit. Also it was very expensively priced, even that it was during race week.
The adjoining bistro was our first meal (and Guiness) in Ireland. The menu offered variety, and we greatly enjoyed our handmade stone cooked pizza, The Irish breakfast which was included with our stay was in the top 2 we have had so far. Excellent quality prepared well.
This Italian restaurant, in house, was the one of the very best we have found in Ireland. Staff all excellent.
The room was superb and the staff very friendly.
The restaurant and bar were very good.
Good location, in old village of oranmore. Lovely new rooms, nice bar, with good service and food.
A very welcoming hotel, very friendly staff and great food.
Room was a little on the small side.
Very friendly staff
Car park at rear full but not with guests
I liked the restaurant which was great. The food and service were great. The room itself was clean and really comfortable, The hotel was great for our stay.
Friendly staff, quick and easy check-in and check-out process.
Wifi was down
Room on small side
The one saving grace to a poor stay here was the restaurant. Here the staff were friendly and the food good.
This hotel is simply a bar with rooms. The room I had for 5 days was poky with one small window ( approximately 18 inches wide) in the corner. The room had insufficient natural light and it was necessary to have the lights on all the time event though it was one of the hottest weeks of the summer so far. The staff were numerous and I did not know who was reception staff so there was no-one to speak to. I actually assumed there were no reception staff. For all of my stay ( 5 days ) the reception was unmanned. The bar staff were at best unfriendly at worst rude. The car park is not reserved for hotel guests necessitating parking some distance away as it was always full. The breakfast is served in a bar despite there being a restaurant on the premises. There were so many staff that I rarely saw the same person twice. I was not asked once if I was enjoying my stay ( 5 days ) until checking out. I do not recommend this hotel at all.
The staff were very friendly & welcoming. The room was clean & comfortable, as one would expect, & the freshly cooked breakfast was excellent.
Good restaurant attached to it ,small
Our room was a bit pokey, and so noisy overnight Tara room
