Perfectly located by the river and overlooking Claremorris, the Dalton Inn Hotel is an ideal base from which to explore beautiful west Ireland, a 1-minute walk from the train station.

comfort, the people, the staff. All was second to none. Absolutely fantastic.
Not much happening around the town.
Staff very naturally friendly - not just put on. Good food and great bar staff.
Nothing I didn't like
We had a very relaxing stay and enjoyed it very much.
The hotel was available to us at short notice
We went into the bar area to get food on the night of our arrival. The table runner had a lot of stains. The chairs were in a poor state of repair with torn leather. The bedroom carpet had alot of stains and the net curtains in the bedroom were shabby and torn. The hotel needs a facelift. I would not stay in this hotel again. Sorry this is such a negative review.
Lovely staff and lovely room. Very comfortable and quiet.
The value for money would have been excellent if breakfast had been included.
I stayed for in your hotel for 2 days with my eldery mother and i cannot say enough about nice and helpfull and friendly the staff were would definitely stay again and would recommend it to anyone
All the staff were friendly and made us feel at home. Once you get that, you're onto a winner. Great location...visited Athenry, Westport and Spiddal,
Early morning deliveries curtailed the lie in. But the bay window view of the town made up for it
Locality, obliging staff
hotel quite nice. receptionist very helpful and friendly.
waited at table for 10 mins to place order for breakfast, eventually had to approach staff who appeared overworked and unfriendly, requested marmalade which was just left on table abruptly....no interaction whatsoever from waiting staff.
Located in town , excellent food
Rooms a little noisy at the front but that's because it's on the street . Also could so with a full length mirror in the bedroom
Loud noise & shouting from pub across the street until the early hours of the morning made it impossible to sleep The music downstairs in the hotel did not help either Breakfast was terrible. Supposed to be continental however no fruit, yogurt, the toast was not even toasted, the crispy bacon was horrible back bacon so not worth the extra €20 paid Overall this was one stay I would rather forget
Location Food Staff
Dusty old fashioned bedrooms!
Had to wait to check out.
There was loud music late from bar area and our room was above it.
Great hotel staff we're lovely and very friendly people really enjoyed it
Hotel was good value for money. Food was nice and very good value too. Staff were friendly. Good location in the town centre.
Rooms were small and noisy so not suitable if you want a relaxing stay.
I liked eating in the bar the food was good for my evening meal. The size of the room was good and it was clean.
The room I got looked was dark and looked out to a window in another building. There was a notice on the bathroom door asking if taking a shower keep the door closed as the steam sets off the fire alarm. Mold on the bathroom ceiling. When I went down to breakfast in the morning the girl said that breakfast was not included in my stay, so I had to call bookin.com and get someone to call the hotel. I'm sure this hotel is fine, its just not for me.
Excellent location, all amenities walking distance from hotel.
Nothing!I would recommend this hotel to anyone,be it business or pleasure
Excellent location in town centre, with car parking on site. Friendly and helpful staff. This hotel is the best example of small family run hotels in Ireland. I'm a regular visitor on business, and really enjoy my times there.
The room was comfortable but no internet and limited TV channels. Also no fridge.
Room was above smoking area from Bar so very noisy untilled late at night. Wifi didn't work
great location, right in the centre of the town. food lovely, breakfast served late on a sunday morning,so got to lie in a while.only half hour from galway.
nothing. lovely hotel, wi fi a bit fuzzy in some parts .
staff we great, value, breakfast up till Noon!
location was a bit quiet but that not the fault of the hotel
The staff were so accommodating! Had a lovely shortstay and I will certainly come back again. Harry Mc Gavock.
