Great location just outside of town and very quiet. Excellent owners and facilities. Would stay there again as well as recommend it to others.
No hot water on the last day for showers.
The very friendly staff
Great breakfast, wifi had a great connection, no problems, bed was very nice, all rooms in Ireland seem to be hot to us, but we opened the window and it was perfect. Hotel on the road to Dongel, beautiful setting.
Friendly owners, clean facilities. Owners were helpful with info re dining spots, tourism areas.
Tiny rooms and bathrooms. No room to move. Couldn't open shower door all the way because of sink. Wifi was bad.
The view from the dining room is postcard material - absolutely beautiful. The home is lovely and there are thoughtful additions to the rooms such as lotions. Decent breakfast although, unlike the other B&Bs, we didn't have access to fruit or other options to the hot breakfast, but Liam did offer cereal.
We seriously think the mattress was missing. It felt as if we were laying on box springs. Terrible sleep for both of us both nights. The bathroom, while attractive with a towel warmer, had a strong chemical/plastic smell. Easily cleared when the window was open, but would return soon after we'd close it. We just didn't feel welcome here. Liam was polite but business-like, perhaps he's tired of Americans since it was soon after a busy tourist season. We weren't sure if there was a sitting room for guests since we weren't shown one as we had been with the other four B&Bs we visited while here. We never met his wife which we thought somewhat odd, given we were there two nights. The wifi kept dropping off; very frustrating.
Located outside Donegal Town; friendly, family atmosphere
Room was a bit small for two people spending 3 nights
A beautiful house with a very comfortable bed and an extremely welcoming host! Joan was just lovely. This stay was just what we needed at the end of a long drive.
Joan and Liam are exceptional hosts! Loved the breakfast and listening to the Donegal Tenors on cd was a real treat! Joan gave us excellent recommendations for dinner and music. Liam provided step-by-step instructions on how to get to Belfast. It couldn't have been better.
Very nice owners....clean and friendly
Bed: mattress needs replacing..can feel the springs...both of us lost sleep which is unusual.
The cove lodge was the perfect place to get a great nights rest after traveling all day. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were spotless, and Joan our host was most welcoming. Plus the breakfast in the morning was delightful.
Being picky, but the wi-fi was hard to get in the room. Other than that nothing
Liam was welcoming even though we got there a bit early. Bed was comfy and breakfast was good
I booked for my parents and they were very impressed with their stay. Lovely breakfast

room was a little on the small side however the overall experience was very good
clean and comfortable, easy to find and well located. Quiet welcoming and helpful host.
It is a very comfortable place to stay.... It was in a wonderful part of the country.....we enjoyed exploring Donegal and the surrounding coast.... Liam gave us very good advice on the local area...
Liam, our host, afforded my wife and I a civil welcome and allocated us a comfortable room with a pleasant view. He was most helpful as regards restaurants in Donegal town and breakfast next morning was very good.
In this place, welcoming, location, comfort, everything is just at the best!
Magnificent location with a beautiful view. Liam the host was very welcoming and helpful with all the must sees and a great recommendation for dinner. Breakfast was wonderful, would highly recommend this B&B.
