We seriously think the mattress was missing. It felt as if we were laying on box springs. Terrible sleep for both of us both nights.
The bathroom, while attractive with a towel warmer, had a strong chemical/plastic smell. Easily cleared when the window was open, but would return soon after we'd close it.
We just didn't feel welcome here. Liam was polite but business-like, perhaps he's tired of Americans since it was soon after a busy tourist season. We weren't sure if there was a sitting room for guests since we weren't shown one as we had been with the other four B&Bs we visited while here. We never met his wife which we thought somewhat odd, given we were there two nights.
The wifi kept dropping off; very frustrating.
The view from the dining room is postcard material - absolutely beautiful. The home is lovely and there are thoughtful additions to the rooms such as lotions. Decent breakfast although, unlike the other B&Bs, we didn't have access to fruit or other options to the hot breakfast, but Liam did offer cereal.
