Good location. No public transport needed. Supermarket and a restaurant just next to the hostel. Bus to the airport stopping 3 minutes away from the hostel.
Room was fairly clean. Linen not ironed thatºs why we werenºt sure if it was actually washed after previous guests. We found some dirty towels that werenºt removed by the staff. Bedroom was just next to the laundry room, so we could hear the washing mashine the whole time. Whole baskets of dirty towels and linen were left next to our door! Not the best view... Breakfast was disappointing.
Room was very warm and toasty, bed was clean and comfy. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Kitchen area with plates, cups etc - very handy! even had a fridge! excellent value for money shame the cleanliness let it down!
our room could have done with a lick of paint loads of black marks on the wall (room 3) also was quite noisy and could hear the banging of the doors, shower tray was very unclean - clearly hadn't been cleaned properly which made me think what else hadn't been cleaned
Great location. Lovely staff. Would definitely stay there again.
Clean room, clean shower, simple breakfast & pleasant staff.
Someone set off the fire alarm at 3am took a while for it to be turned off (probably someone smoking in the room) :/
Price. Location was not bad. It's about 15 min walk to the center.
Bed was a little uncomfortable. The no late check in rule was a little inconvenient.
Bit too pricey for hostel but Dublin is really expensive
Good location, calm area in spite of its closeness to the city center. Helpful staff.
The water tap didn't work properly. Noisy room.
The staff were very friendly. The 46A bus stops very close to the hostel which makes it easy to get to. I was staying in a private room which was of the same standard as a lot of hotels. I was happy with my visit.
It would have been nice for the kitchen to stay open later than 10pm but I understand.
- Proximity to the city
- Poor Breakfast - Have to wash your own dishes after having breakfast
Front desk staff were very friendly, helpful and informative. Bed was comfortable, room was spacious, everything was really clean. Simple breakfast provided was convenient.
Everything was great!
position and the price
Breakfast was very poor. They do not accept credit cards.
We liked the relaxed atmosphere. Staff were always helpful. The room was adequate and clean. We were sight seeing so we just needed a base. Great to be able to make a cuppa when we wanted and prepare food and leave it in the communal fridge.
The kitchen closed at 10. Would have been nice to have a late night hot drink. At times I felt a bit old..perhaps suits younger people.
Friendly staff, good vibes. Fairly quiet location, but not too far from the central district - easy walking distance.
We couldn't lock the security grille in order to have the window open for fresh air. (minor problem, really)
Basic, but clean and comfortable.
Not much of a breakfast.
The staff was very kind and helping. The room was nice and we had a really good shower :) The common room with the tv and the fuzzball was very comfy. Location perfect as you are very close to the city centre. No bus needed, all by foot.
It was a pitty that the kitchen closed so early as I would have loved to have a cup of tea after 22 pm. Apart from that as the reception was not open 24/7, people came after 00.00 am and rang the bell and as there was no one at the reception they kept ringing and we could hear it in the room. Breakfast could be more than just toast, jam and cereals. The breakfast was NOT continental.
The location was ideal and the room was nice
It was difficult to sleep as the room I was in was next to the linen cupboard and the staff decided to sort out the linen around 11pm - it was very noisy and kept me awake. Also the room above me had very creaky floor boards and kept me awake. The people up there got up at 6am so I was woken then too!
Very clean, staff very friendly, near everything
The staff were very friendly and attentive. Nothing seem to be a bother to them. It was very clean and well decorated. Everything you needed was avalible and the location was ideal.
It was a little cold in the room but when we asked the staff about this they were very helpful and gave us an extra blanket.
Staff was always available and very friendly
room was not very clean Bed was not comfortable
Position it's 10 min walk from city centre. Bike sharing a just in the other side of the street
Rooms were not heated. We were told that in May the heating system is turned off but in the other B&B we visited the heating system was on. Breakfast it s sufficient, in line with an hostel breakfast
Availability of the staff, very kind and polite! Not so far from the city center!
The beds were really uncomfortable, the room was not really clean, tv didnt work, the chandelier didn't work, shower didn't flush water....
Very central and very well come.
The toilet in the room in bed conditions.
Breakfast included. Lovely en suite facilities. Nice garden.
Very noisy floorboards above us woke us up
Excellent location (close to the city centre, but not too close, therefore not noisy at all). Friendly, helpful staff. Clean room, reasonable for the price.
Despite what is advertised, there is no complimentary coffee, not even for the (extremely basic) breakfast.
