Brilliant location, friendly staff, rooms are spotless and spacious.
Great location, close to the city centre and the coach station. Nice and friendly staff. Clean and cosy room. Tea, coffee, the little chocolate.
No lift, narrow and steep stairway
The Guesthouse is very central, guy on reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and warm.
Street noise is an issue, issue with some other guests deciding to stay up loudly talking until 6.45am, something not totally in the control of the guesthouse.
Location. Price. Place was nice and clean
Room gets cold quickly when you turn off the heater
fab location and cafe downstairs great service and quality,
Bit overpriced in comparison to hotels in galway with more facilities,
Nice location and very clean.
Bit noisy outside
Excellent location, lovely room and staff were very nice.
convenience of location
only one chair in upgrade room. possibly not enough room for 2 beds. maybe a congested location presumably fire escape o.k. black rubbish bags were seen once outside the back exit door. ? complies with all safety / fire exit rules .?
Just great very helpful an handy to everything would recommend it to everyone andrew
This Townhouse was in a perfect location for shopping or any leisure activities, a comfortable, clean and warm accommodation, a pleasant surprise once you step inside and good value for money d warm
A little noisey but to be expected at this time of year.
Friendly reception; secure; Barry's gold blend tea and big mugs in the bedroom! Good shower, cosy room with all facilities
Could have used a shower cap
The staff was very nice and helpful. The room is basic, but clean and perfect for a few nights staying for that price in the heart of Galway.
The wifi did not always work properly in my room. The hanger for the towels was broken, so there was nowhere to put them (they changed them anyway daily, so it was not a big problem at the end).
Very clean lodging close to Eyre Square and all activities in Galway city. Nice size shower, although smallish bathroom. Tea making facilities in room was nice. A couple of restaurants right under the building where you could get a nice breakfast or lunch. Nice lad at reception allowed me to leave my bag on my last day so that I didn't have to carry it around with me. Remote to control heat in room was nice. Clean towels brought in daily. Very good rate found for the 3 nights I stayed in December.
Lodging was in a noisy neighborhood and drunks leaving bars would bang on doors and yell outside building on their way home. However, this is to be expected given the location of the lodging and is not the fault of the establishment.
The location is perfect and the brothers from Connemara are very nice people.
A little bit noisy at night, probably because of the night club next door.
Fantastic location, room was clean and tidy. Free wifi
Reception and bedrooms are are on first floor! Not wheelchair accessible!
Location in the centre of the city. Cleanliness. Value for money.
The guy at reception was such a gent - so friendly and helpful. Very affordable. The bedrooms were so cosy and clean
No tea bags Shower drain clogged Room very cold
Location excellent & staff very friendly & helpful. Room a nice size, very clean. Café downstairs very handy & served great food. Excellent stay!
Pretty much everything. Overpriced Dirty bathroom No storage Broken fittings No sound insulation Miserable wifi And a lot more besides
I always stay in the Eyre Sq. townhouse when in Galway. Fantastic value for money and really comfortable. Great location next to main street/Eyre square and nearby parking.
Staff was very friendly and helpful .
I had cancelled this booking several months previously so extremely unprofessional of the booking site to send an email phrasing it like there had been an issue with our credit card for our stay. The name of this place sounded like the name of the much nicer hotel we had booked instead so we didnt identify the error until the morning ending up having to pay for two rooms. So you can get a nicer hotel for the same price that includes breakfast (this place doesn't). If you cancel a stay that should be obvious in all further communications.
The location and the little chocolate on the bed was such a nice touch
There was no hot water when I wanted to have a shower late at night after getting soaked on the walk back
Excellent location ,just of the main square.Plenty of choice for food and night life.Loads of shopping areas and easy to get around .Near bus and rail stations..
Very steep stairs for those with heavy bags.
The room and bathroom were not only large and comfortable facilities but they were impeccably clean. The staff were friendly and the location of course is perfect! There was no outside noise that I heard even though it's so close to town
The only unfortunate downfalls were the wifi went at about midnight and another only minor thing was the TV has poor picture quality - these did not overly affect my stay so I would still recommend it above anywhere else.
