Location in the centre of the city. Cleanliness. Value for money.
The guy at reception was such a gent - so friendly and helpful. Very affordable. The bedrooms were so cosy and clean
No tea bags Shower drain clogged Room very cold
Location excellent & staff very friendly & helpful. Room a nice size, very clean. Café downstairs very handy & served great food. Excellent stay!
Pretty much everything. Overpriced Dirty bathroom No storage Broken fittings No sound insulation Miserable wifi And a lot more besides
I always stay in the Eyre Sq. townhouse when in Galway. Fantastic value for money and really comfortable. Great location next to main street/Eyre square and nearby parking.
Staff was very friendly and helpful .
I had cancelled this booking several months previously so extremely unprofessional of the booking site to send an email phrasing it like there had been an issue with our credit card for our stay. The name of this place sounded like the name of the much nicer hotel we had booked instead so we didnt identify the error until the morning ending up having to pay for two rooms. So you can get a nicer hotel for the same price that includes breakfast (this place doesn't). If you cancel a stay that should be obvious in all further communications.
The location and the little chocolate on the bed was such a nice touch
There was no hot water when I wanted to have a shower late at night after getting soaked on the walk back
Excellent location ,just of the main square.Plenty of choice for food and night life.Loads of shopping areas and easy to get around .Near bus and rail stations..
Very steep stairs for those with heavy bags.
The room and bathroom were not only large and comfortable facilities but they were impeccably clean. The staff were friendly and the location of course is perfect! There was no outside noise that I heard even though it's so close to town
The only unfortunate downfalls were the wifi went at about midnight and another only minor thing was the TV has poor picture quality - these did not overly affect my stay so I would still recommend it above anywhere else.
Confy Bed, very clean, central, was a bit noisy as the pub down the road had a Halloween night for students! But we've all partied before, others may have complained!
The kettle leaked and nearlly scalded ourselves. We would have mentioned this but we left early! It was nothing major just a point to raise!
- Location; - Accessibility - parking near by
- wifi connection - room had a few noises and the bathrom light and extractor was on by movement, which meant a good 10 minutes of light and noise in the room after going to bed.
Clean and simple
No chair in room, and table too narrow to accommodate a laptop, so had to sit sideways on bed to use laptop
Location was key
I have stayed here several times befor and was welcomed back. the easy and friendly atmosphere. feels safe as a sole traveller and the comfort of the room all very pleasant.
Great central location. Very good rooms
Problem with no hot water on the second morning
Power shower amazing after a Galway soaking.
Noise from the room next door travelled very easily and being woken at 4 am after a long days work and a 6am start next day is not ideal.
The young man at the front was very helpful. The room was fairly large by Irish standards, and we liked the motion sensor lights that came on in the bathroom if you had to get up. The city center location was very good.
The walls are thin, and there were several late night revelers. Around 1am I could hear what sounded like a riot coming down the street outside our window. I was awakened several times during the night. The price was outrageous for what we got (140 euros). We stayed at the Rdisson Blu for the same price a night or two later.
Rooms very comfortable, clean and well decorated. Fantastic location right in the heart of the city
A few (very minor) repairs needed, for example the toilet roll holder loose
I unfortunately left my jewelry in a drawer and contacted Eyre Square from Clifden. The young man found it rang me back and agreed to put it in a Jiffy bag and sent it on to me. I reimbursed him by letter as soon as it arrived at my home a couple of days after we returned from Ireland. Excellant service.
Car parking difficult but staff helpful explaining best place to go.Could have done with more hanging space and coat hangers. Mirror a bit to high had to stand on chair to shave. But still good place.
Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The one staff that we saw was very helpful. He carried in our luggage and let us store it on site after checkout until our train was leaving.
No chair in the room, plus we didn't realize the number of stairs, which is difficult if you have a cane.
Location, in the heart of the city, staff very helpful, price
Noise inside and outside the building
