The Eyre Square Townhouse  

Very clean, lovely beds. Quiet.

Reception was unmanned when we arrived. Toilet and shower were blocked.

was easy to find, great for a shopping trip, nights outs etc

No lounge facility in guesthouse

Convenience, friendly and just nearby city centre. Room is clean, lovely and perfect to stay in this great city, Galway! Strongly recommend!!!

Location and cost

The staff were amazing, so friendly and really helpful running up to the weekend we were staying there. Eamonn was helpful and gave us good advice on where to in Galway. The rooms were spacious and clean, very comfortable and the location was excellent. It was just off Eyre Square so everything was a stones throw away. Would definitely book this again.

The shower door was broken but it didn't cause any hassle.

Galway v expensive!

Location is perfect - so central. The guy at reception was very friendly. This was my third time staying here - location is the big seller, no worrying about taxis as it's so close to everything

Because it's so central it can be quite noisy, also the tiled floors means can hear the guests above but these are minor complaints.

All the staff were extremely helpful. The location just off Eyre Square couldn't have been better, it was so central. We were worried that there would be noise from the pub our room overlooked, but there wasn't - not sure if that was just luck!

Have to go up steep stairs to reception, no rooms on ground level, and no lift - not exactly wheelchair friendly!

Each time I have stayed at the Eyre Square Townhouse, I have felt comfortable,safe, and relaxing. I recommend this townhouse to all of my friends!

Location was excellent, room was fresh and clean and although centrally located it was very quiet

the steep stairs up to reception.

The Eyre Square Townhouses were not only affordable, but clean and friendly as well. When it comes to a centrally located place for weekend accommodations, I highly recommend Eyre Square Townhouses. I'll stay there whenever I travel to Galway City Centre.

My only complaints are: the electric kettle needed some closer attention and if there is a disruptive bunch, the walls are unfortunately not as sound absorbing as one may like.
