very nice b&b, Everything was what I would expect from a well run business. Would stay there again,
Have no bad word to say .
Was allowed to check out a bit late and was still supplied to a full Irish breakfast. Excellent service.
The bed is cozy and people are nice.
hostess, comfort, warmth and facilities. 2 minutes from castle
Very well looked after by owner, and organised transport for us too a local wedding. Very central too slane castle an other local spots.
Super clean. Good breakfast and at midday.!!!!;
on arrival we indicated that we were going to a wedding in Tankardstown House,a distance of 10 minutes by car. The landlord very generously offered to drive us there. As drinkers we were delighted to accept. A very thoughtful gesture on his part and much appreciated. He also told us that a shuttle service operates from midnight on the hour between the hotel and Slane.
Friends paid for two what I paid for one.
Great personal service, friendly welcome.
Rooms are lovely and clean, the only thing I disliked was the plug in air fresheners. Overpowering cloying smell that frankly isn't needed as it's a no smoking house. Also, when paying 35 euro for b and b, I would expect there to be filter or plunger coffee, not instant as was served.
Close to the village Very pleasant owner Such rich history in area
With so much history in area a few currant brochures or information/suggestions would have been helpful if nothing more than location of tourist info office
We were at a wedding a few miles away and were able to use the complimentary bus to get home to the b&b in the early hours. We did not have to leave early in the morning and were given breakfasy(full cooked) after midday! The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
I was at a Wedding nearby and I was dropped back to the Wedding venue for my car after checking out by a member of the B&B staff. Excellent service and a great big Irish breakfast.
Convenient, value, clean and comfortable with friendly owner who offered us lift to Tankardstown for wedding reception! What more could you want?!
No negatives at all!
bright, Fresh Room, good breakfast, excellent value.
couldn't find a fault
Room, beds, toilet & shower facilities. Excellent food for breakfast. Thanks very much. Len & Ken.
Run by a lovely couple, couldn't recommend the place more!
Good size room. Comfy bed. Parking right outside. Easy stroll into town. Good breakfast but nothing outstanding. Good for one night only.
In desperate need of an update. It's actually two houses knocked through to make one large property. The house we stayed in had an interested odour. I thought it was urine but my friend thought it might be a cleaning agent. Who knows?! Door handle was broken so took a while to look the door.
Little village with character. A great place to stay. Lovely.
Clean and comfortable. Close to restaurants and pubs yet in a quiet situation allowing for a good nights rest. Tasty breakfast and pleasant helpful staff.
convenience to town. clean, quiet accommodation.
going through main loungeroom to kitchen felt a bit awkward
Tish the owner is a lady and we had an excellent holiday thanks tish
Everything was perfect
central to town clean, tidy room good breakfast
Central location in Slane Clean room Good breakfast Helpful host
Perfect accommodation for a nearby wedding, clean and comfortable with a new bathroom. Great breakfast and lovely staff - couldn't have done more for us.
small cramped room, smallest of aged bathrooms, tight B/Fast area. The accom was disappointing and not worth the Price paid, in my view
