Very helpful staff providing warm hospitality .Substantial Full Irish breakfast with terrific view of the Docklands modern architecture.
good location good facilities good staff good pub
Nice staff, good location, funny pub
Good location.Landlord and staff very good.
Parking a bit of a problem,expensive.
Bar was great; breakfast was good; location for us visiting to see a show at the 3 Arena was brill as could walk there. Found street parking available outside amazingly (maybe not so easy in high season). Room request for 2nd floor room given.
Room smelt. Breakfast staff obliging but could hardly speak English. Most people travel to Ireland wanting to experience the character of the Irish, not any other nationality. No offer of assistance with bags on arrival. Staff appeared flustered. Woken early (before 6.30) by brewery delivery. This wasn't a dozen barrels or so, it went on for over half an hour, nightmare!
The single room was very cozy, and I felt very safe as an intruder would have to get through two card key locks plus it's not obvious there are rooms above the pub.
Great breakfast experience - lovely dining room and very welcoming staff. Nice pub.
No food available in the evening - can't understand why with such a location and facilities - wasted opportunity. Very noisy room - barrels out at 12.45am and then huge delivery at 06.30am??? No local or hotel information in room. Should be referred to as a B and B / guest house - definitely not a hotel.
Room was roasting
The Ferryman is a pub with ok rooms above that serves a great breakfast. Its the real deal - dead friendly - and well lcoated. Thanks a million to all the team for making us feel so welcome.... and the late nigh drinks
The stairs, they have no lift.
The staff, the Guinness, the bar.
Really enjoyed stay, breakfast was lovely - full Irish breakfast. They had lovely carvery at 1 o clock food was fab, room was clean and Wifi worked fine - great value for money staff are very nice.
Only negative thing was the location. We were very close to the 3 Arena only a 5 minute walk away however there are no take away's or restaurants around the area - however the Bnb itself was great enjoyed stayed.
Location. Friendly. Traditional. Nice views over Liffey
Room not clean in places. Breakfast and facilities basic. No food served after lunch.
I liked the location of the Ferryman - and the fact that it was hotel above a pub. This was great for me as a single traveller, as I was able to have a couple of drinks and then on to bed, without having to walk back to the hotel. I asked and got a room overlooking the river which was great.
There wasn't anything that I didn't like.
Enjoyed the breakfast room, great view of the river. Was worried that it might be noisy and might not get sleep as this is a pub with music. I had a room in the back and there was no noise. It is within walking distance to O'Connell street.
A 20-minute walk to the city centre, the hotel is close enough to get to all the central attractions and there's a tram stop just across the river for travelling further afield. Rooms are above the pub. They're basic, but clean and comfortable. Good breakfast, friendly staff and pub looked good although we didn't stop in for a pint.
The staff could not have done more to help us during our 2 day business trip. Great food, comfy bed and a cosy welcoming atmosphere!
The staff couldn't do enough for us , would definitely go back , location was perfect , breakfast great , beds comfortable .
It's like you visiting your grandma. True Irish spirit.
Good location quite room very good staff lovely breakfast in a beautiful dining room we will stay again
- wi-fi - pub - silent - great connection to the airport - direct BUS cca 200 m - breakfast
Location - I was meeting a company about 100M away. Pub had a great atmosphere. Room 12 was comfortable. Shower was great! Breakfast was nice.
My room's radiator was on full blast all night and made the room too hot. Whilst it was nice being on the front of the hotel overlooking the river it meant I couldn't open the window without suffering a fair amount of traffic noise...
class pub and spotless accommodation what more do you need?
