The view of the Canal
Rooms were small and shower was poor
Location, friendliness of staff, being made very welcome. Excellent
The Ferryman is an excellent choice for any trip to Dublin. Superb location on the Liffey, in walking distance to all locations. The staff were second to none, friendly, helping and accommodating. ..nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere in the pub was great and the noise on a night was minimal. Breakfast was an excellent addition.
Nothing. If I visit Dublin again I won't bother looking for anywhere else to stay!
Atmosphere, cleanliness, access to places to eat just around the corner (great Italian Restaurant). About 20 minute walk into city.
Struggle with luggage up flights of stairs.
Very close to the 3 arena, very clean, very nice staff. Lovely bar downstairs. Would definitely stay again!
Bathroom door was a little hard to open from the inside
- Good location with a nice bar. - friendly ladies in a nice decorated breakfast lounge
- Mattress is far too old, I can feel almost each spring when I lay on it. - toilet flush does not work properly - small old TV - it's more a bar than a hotel, they are not even able to provide a city map to guests...
It was very convenient for the musical in BORD GAIS.. It has a very homely atmosphere.
Staff very attentive and happy. Much nicer than I expected for the very reasonable charge and a great Bar. I will definately be staying here again next time in Dublin
Comfy bed and tea and coffee in the room. Hot showers and very clean bathroom. Staff were fine with me and made me very welcome.
Nothing to dislike really apart from the hangover on Monday morning.....
Nice clean room overlooking the river. Good cooked breakfast in beautiful room overlooking the river.
Although cooked breakfast was good, there could have been a bigger helping.
Great location by the riverside, river view from our twin room, toiletries, lovely cooked breakfast, staff really helpful and only a 20min walk to the centre along the river. Can't fault it! Some reviews quibble the Ferryman being over a busy pub but this adds to its charm and it's a really nice local!
Request for breakfast prior to 8.00am Saturday. Told absolutely not possible. Not impressed that saw dining room open at 7.45 and other guests having cooked breakfast provided.
Good Food Lovely dining room lovely staff
Tiny room, but had all the facilities a solo traveller needs
Locality View- fantastic Fun staff
No Black pudding for breakfast ! Light above dressing table did not work!
Nice hotel very clean and excellent value travelling on business good location nice bar and good friendly buzz.
Super friendly staff good wifi perfect location for the conference center, clean great value for money
breakfast is minimal (no greens/fruits/yogurt etc.) can be noisy from the pub below
Friendly and helpful staff. Nice atmosphere in pub and great location for seeing shows at the 02 etc.
Friendly Staff Location Nice Bar
No drinking glasses in room No shelf in bathroom or shower for toiletries
the whole package was worth the fee and lightened the business trip.thanks
Excellent staff Breakfast was wonderful Comfortable pub Atmosphere
Location. Atmosphere at the pub. Very friendly staff, especially at breakfast time. Feeling of "authenticity". Breakfast (full english breakfast could get repetitive after 4 days, but we had no problem with picking and choosing what we wanted each day). Nice and comfortable bed.
Small room, especially tiny shower. Not having a proper check-in/check-out desk (just the actual bar of the pub) made it difficult at times to ask for information or interact with staff. Towels were in horrible condition (some already torn in some areas, some tore as you were using them), they didn't re-stuff any toiletries in 4 days (even though we run out of shampoo and shower gel the second day, as they didn't provide you with much). Curtains didn't block sunlight in the mornings well enough. Perhaps not very good value for money when compared to other european cities (but definitely great when compared to other accomodations we found in Dublin).
Nice clean rooms. Breakfast very good, staff accommodating. Rooms on top floor were quiet.
Checking in at the bar on a busy Friday evening was a little in convenient
Walking distance from Temple-Bar and without the noise. Comfortable room.
A lot of minor inconveniences: bathroom door didn't close properly, narrow and steep stairs, etc...
well cooked and no wait.
was not a full irish ( no white or black pudding!)
