the whole package was worth the fee and lightened the business trip.thanks
Excellent staff Breakfast was wonderful Comfortable pub Atmosphere
Nice clean rooms. Breakfast very good, staff accommodating. Rooms on top floor were quiet.
Checking in at the bar on a busy Friday evening was a little in convenient
Walking distance from Temple-Bar and without the noise. Comfortable room.
A lot of minor inconveniences: bathroom door didn't close properly, narrow and steep stairs, etc...
Nice clean room. Friendly welcome on arrival, Enjoyable breakfast
Unfortunately the bedroom backed onto the kitchen ventilation unit so there was a distinctive hum which could possibly disrupt someones sleep. Luckily I sleep like a log so it was not a problem. Would stay again
Great food at the bar downstairs Only 8 mins walk to centre O'Connell Road.
Staff really made me feel welcome and safe as I am a retired lady travelling alone
Nothing to fault
Bedroom and bathroom clean and bright. Comfortable beds and very generous portions at breakfast. All members of staff were friendly and helpful.
It would have been useful to have a couple of glasses for water provided in the room. We used the teacups, but they don't hold very much. The shower could use a shelf on which to put shampoo, soap, etc. instead of having to put it on the floor. For those of us who are a bit arthritic, having to bend down to pick up shampoo from the floor is not an easy thing to do first thing in the morning. When you stay at a pub, you need to expect noise until closing time, which is fair enough. However, we were awakened around 4:30 in the morning by the sound of the empty kegs being put out for pickup.
We arrive very early on our first day, just as breakfast was ending, (check in was 2pm), not only did they cook us a full breakfast, but they also got our room ready for us whilst we was eating breakfast, thank you
Great location over looking the river friendly welcoming staff and a really lovely relaxed atmosphere would highly recommend this hotel
Nothing it was just what we wanted
Free wi-fi Location is good
Single room is rather small.
The location is great, I could see the Samuel Beckett bridge open in a maintenance night.
The shower had hairs when I first stepped in, very old facilities. Small tv, cold room. Old towels. Light in the toilet was in and out all the time. Very noisy. The breakfast didn't have more options than irish breakfast or cereals. Very expansive for an old place.
Location, great atmosphere above a happening pub
Shower drain was clogged!
Location Breakfast Comfortable bed Value for money
Not a lot
Nice location with river side view room , helpful staffs , and good pub in ground floor.
Great location for the ferry, excellent restaurants nearby, wish we could have enjoyed more time in the sumptuous dining room:)
Good location Easy to find attractions Great breakfast Friendly staff
No AC My trip wasn't long enough
Beautiful breakfast room Nice pub Great views of bridge and river
Hated having to buzz to get let in.
It was very close to venue we were going to Bord Gais Energy a Theatre. Beautiful to and from city centre
Presentation and look of food thought it was slightly between dinner and tea time. Lettuce didn't look fresh tho chef was saying it tasted fine
Good position in a tipical building. Nice pub on ground floor. No elevator and too clean (towel were broken)
We liked the people who served breakfast,
Room was not clean, noisy outside the room, one person said we could cancel room we gave them 24 hrs notice we went to pay and they say no we had to pay for 2 nights, no happy
We liked the location of the hotel, being right next to the River Liffey, in a quieter part of Dublin. We loved our room on the third floor with our perfect river Liffey view. We were close enough to walk to Trinity College, Temple Bar, and other great Dublin sites. We also loved the breakfast room--very elegant.
It might have been nice and convenient if the pub downstairs had served food.
Location was excellent for the board gais theatre . Pub has a great atmosphere and staff are very friendly . The breakfast was outstanding plus service excellent.
Don't expect peace and quiet if that's what you want . It was noisy on the Friday night but we expected that because of the pub downstairs .
If you want a traditional experience this is the place
fantastic location,fantastic friendly staff,good size rooms,very comfortable
only dislike was the breakfast,it was brutal, heated up from the night before,so disapointing after such a lovely stay
