When we asked to be moved room it wasn't a trouble. I have a bad back and out 1 st room was quite a distance from lift ... Adrian our concierge was lovely and Fiona at reception was lovely at checkout!! The little queen cakes were a nice touch, but ingredient info would gave been helpful as my partner couldn't eat his!! There was lots and lots of hairs on the inside covers of the pillows! The air con was really hard to work, as a result I slept neither night. I think all guests should be shown how it works, we have air con at home but totally different to this unit. The shower was too hot in the morning and very hard to get a happy medium.. Adrian & Fiona were the only staff who were friendly, on our 2nd night we didn't even get a hello coming to and from hotel...!

The fun and quirky design in the different rooms in the lobby. The gym was good. The breakfast was very good too. All the waiting staff were very nice and friendly. The room was very pricy for what it was - we had an internal view which was disappointing.

From check-in to check-out the G Hotel was fantastic. Really helpful staff, which were always pleasant. The hotel is very nicely decorated with quirky artworks etc dotted around the hotel. The rooms are very luxurios and well finished. Very clean throughout. The breakfast is also very good. It's an expensive stay, but if it's for a special occassion then it's worth paying a little bit extra for a hotel like this.

I liked all of the hotel. I would have to say all staff were very helpful and nice except the night porter. We rang him enquiring about different things, but he was not helpful and very ignorant and we ended up not getting room service as we couldnt get a straight answer from him about what was there. My girlfriend and I have stayed in many hotels around the country and we have never had to pay for the use of the pool! I think it should be complimentary as the price of the hotel is expensive

Room and bed great. Breakfast eggs Benedict excellent. Waitress very good. Food runner poor, just plopped hot dish sort of in front of us and....needs some training. Too dark in hall ways. Need a road map to get from elevator to room 227. You need to between 20 yrs. And 50 to appreciate this hotel.

Amazing service from all staff. Noel one of the front office staff could not do enough for us. We were so lost finding the hotel they upgraded our room.... Couldn't find the hotel as it looks to me like a part of a shopping center.

service was excellent couldnt have helped more, design and bar was amazing. the thermal suite was just pure bliss i thought the rooms where basic enough was expecting a bit more as it was a superior king room at a 5 star hotel some things that disapointed me were, tv not mounted on the wall and wasnt awfully big, bathroom was disapointing ie bath/shower was expecting walk in shower as it is a 5 star hotel

The hotel is beautiful designed, and it is clean and comfortable. The spa was relaxing and wonderful. I found that the hotel could be a little dark at times. I noticed that the staff had trouble seeing things. And for a 5 star hotel, I felt that it lacked the little extra. It looks luxurious, but it is mostly a facade. I felt ofter overseen by the staff, specially in the restaurant. They also made a mistake with our "spa, dinner and a movie" package. They mixed up the movie times, so we missed 20min of the movie we paid for. Some of the staff in the spa, I had a hard time communicating with, because of the language barriers.

It is quiet a good hotel in a very good location, I intend to use it for all my busines trips to Galway I think the rate that you charge during Galway race week is astronomical. You should give the people who support you over the year a much better deal for this period

Unfortunate to say very little Very cold including reception areas, restaurant was freezing and also the bedroom ..... Coats were left on whilst dining in Gigi restaurant ........ First reception room gold room was freezing smoved closer to "fireplace" that had church candles burning in it , light fitting in this area were swaying with the breeze, left heating on in bedroom and accommodation staff turned it off which meant the room was article cold in our return from Galway city, also sat in last reception room at 5.30 pm on the Saturday an had to use light in mobile phone to read menu...... Just cannot get over the coldness of the hotel and the lack of ambience over the xmas period very disappointed for myself and my partner who had treated us to the break ...... Small things that could have made a huge difference, heat nice fire and some light entertainment

Great bedrooms. Nice decor and atmosphere in the bar/lounge areas. Front of house staff were helpful and welcoming. For a 5 star hotel the catering staff were quite inexperienced and lacking management. They were disorganised both when serving food in the lounge areas and at breakfast. Also, stopping breakfast at 10am in 5 star hotel isn't really on. Make it 11am, or at least 10:30, and they might not have problems with long queues developing at 9:55.
