The staff was friendly and the room was nice.

It was advertised that there would be wifi but there was not, due to a power outage, so it was understandable but it didn't seem like they were trying to fix it. Breakfast was 30-40 minutes late, because of a mishap with keys, understandable but it put a small wrench in our plans for the day. And although it's location was good for the closeness of everything, it was very noisy that night, Saturday. That is not the hotels fault though.

Where it was situated an the receptionist who also did a very good breakfast.

Rooms were very small, televisions were not working, locks on doors were very poor, flies, cobwebs, the outside of the building was very shabby, no security, kids for nite porters! No ground floor rooms, no lifts, not stated.

When we arrived we were showing where to park by another guy to follow him about 1mile away from B and B we were left to walk back as the guy drove off. As we were there for two nights we got no towels the breakfast was cold and poor there was chips on plates and cups. Noise could be heard from a pump all night. No customer servicesThis wasn't good for 310 euro actually I should be asking for my money back or getting some money backnever would stay there again. People with kids for get it. It ruined our weekend in kilkenny.

The beds were awful and old and didn't have a matters cover. The hair dryer was broken, as were the curtains, the sheets were old and dated, the towels were very small, there were bugs in the room. The closet door knobs were missing so we couldn't store clothing. Nobody was there at night. He left before we could complain about our rooms, as we tried to cancel our reservation because the rooms were so awful. The doors to the rooms are broken and need to be replaced. the Place was a dump!

The beds were comfortable, and the location was great

    1) it was hugely over priced, 160 for one night for what was about a 1 start B and B 2) there was no Wi-Fi signal at all, anywhere - this was supposed to be included 2) there was no bath, booking form said there was a bath 3) the TV didn't work, not one single channel - booking for said there was tv with multiple channels 4) not even a bar of soap in the bathroom 5) couldn't pay by debit or credit card, even though it didn't say anywhere on the booking form that this was the case 6) could not get a receipt for the payment once it was made.

Location, staff were friendly, cooked breakfast was ok though tea was strange (very weak and no teabag in the pot).

Overall very run down. Although sheets and bathroom were clean around the room wasn't - cobwebs over window, dirty skirting etc. TV didn't work, we had no hot water in the morning and some pigeons were nesting in our air vent. It's quite pricey considering the level of accommodation.
