Friendly Staff Nice Decor Nice Views Clean Hotel
Poor Menu Choice Extremely Cold in Hotel and Room, had to ask staff for a radiator, plus use extra blankets. restaurant was closed both days of travel. in bar were given wrong food and had to wait a further half an hour after already waiting 20mins to start. disappointed with hotel for the money we paid.
It is right next door to the 3 Arena and is the place to stay if you have to go to a concert, and is ideally situated out side the terminus for the Luas so easy to get to the city center If you don't know Dublin city. The Bar food is based on Noddle Bar so this may not be for everyone, I enjoyed it toughly!
It was a bit on the busy side at breakfast and Dinner (I would advise making a reservation) the night before but this was to be expected the week before Christmas.
The Gibson is just perfect if we're attending a concert at The 3 Arena. No need for a Taxi :)
Room was very good.mgr and reception staff very good
Ideal for 3 arena
The bed cushions had an odour of greasy hair which was a bit off putting
the helpful and friendly staff
the fact that i was on the sixth floor ~i dont like heights;
Very poor dinner (Christmas market) Very expensive Not 4 star standard Have stayed before and I feel the standards have slipped
How near it is to the 3arena
It is very busy after concerts.
Location very good and luas service good
Check in was trouble-free and location was absolutely class
Paying extra for parking
Very comfortable Location
Cold breakfast Absent minded staff not coming back to us with our order, had to ask twice. Slow check in
Proximity to the 3arena and the fact the Luas was right at the front door.spacious bedroom with very comfortable bed.
Bar menu very limited. restaurant expensive for plain enough menu.
Easy access to local facilities
It was very difficult to get served at the bar. Was waiting at least 20 minutes. The bar staff seemed determined to avoid eye contact. A simple apology for the delay wouldn't have gone astray.
breakfast room cleaness staff
loud music that we could hear from our bedroom after midnight, there was a christmas party on. staff offered to move us but at that hour of the night!!. anyway,it stopped a quarter of an hour after we complained. staff were very sorry about same
Great atmosphere very efficient
Unable to access room service and long queues into restaurant
The service we received from the staff could not be faulted. Nothing was too much trouble and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome and to make your stay enjoyable. We arrived early and they found us a room straight away and later upgraded our room free of charge to a suite when we asked if it was possible to have a room with a bath. The hotel was spotless through out and the rooms were exceptionally clean and tidy and very modern and cosy. Our bed was very comfort. We only stayed in the hotel for 1 night but would have happily stayed longer. Lovely cocktails on offer at the bar and also available to your room if you wanted to stay in. Tram stop directly outside the hotel which was great for getting around the town. We were in dublin to watch a show at the bord gais theatre and this was within walking distance. Could not fault our stay. Would definitely stay here again if we was to go back to dublin and would definitely recommend!!
Stay was fabulous but it was too expensive
This was my second time staying at the Gibson I love it :) friendly staff, great location and clean comfortable modern rooms. have recommend this hotel to family and friends.
I didn't like being asked to pay as soon as I checked in. And please put a volume control for the speaker into the bathroom.
Staff are so friendly, location is excellent. We couldn't fault our room and to add a little extra your staff left us out a lovely note and cup cakes as it was our Anniversary. Thank you
in great location, easily accessed from city centre by the Luas, just across the road from the 3 arena, rooms clean and bright and beautifully furnished. Staff friendly and helpful.
would have loved an extra pillow! breakfast was a bit pricey at 15 euro each, dinner was only average, choice of main courses was a little limited.
Our room was lovely, location was great, plus staff were very nice and polite.
We were not allowed breakfast as we were told it was included in price .
