Score from 481 reviews Excellent
The location is perfect for going to concerts in the 3 Arena. Luas stops right outside it was brilliant. We would highly recommend this hotel. The hotel itself is gorgeous and our room was beautiful and clean. Had a brilliant stay.
There are no negatives. Absolutely fab hotel.
very clean Very comfortable, hospitable staff and attention to details.
Relaxation area is much smaller than what we thought, a bit disappointing.
Can't fault the location. Luas outside the door. Nice bar. Good breakfast. Suites are great. Staff very helpful.
Location and clenliness
Could hear 7:30am conversation from room next door. No bar staff on bar for over 20 minutes. Had to ask for service Twice!
The shower was great The location was great The sex was great As Arnie said in Terminator 2 ..."I'll be back"...
Needed more water in the room for all our activities!
Location - tram outside the hotel to city centre in 10 minutes. High quality Excellent staff Lovely, clean room
Proximity to M50 and ferry.
Derelict surroundings, given that there is no restaurant provision on two nights. One felt uneasy going on foot to the only restaurant open. We would not return on such nights.
Hotel was very clean
The room was a little too warm
This was our first trip to Ireland and we were so happy to be at the Gibson. It was home for us while we were in Dublin and in Ireland. This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at anywhere - and I am a seasoned traveler. We were so happy to be placed on the third floor with outdoor balcony/deck access. Our 5 day trip was perfect. The food at the Gibson and the staff were excellent. Even when we missed our flight back to the US, we were able (thank goodness) to check back into our same room and stay one more day. We will highly recommend the Gibson and also hope to be back there when we visit Dublin again. For the family or couple who want a quality stay and relaxation away from the noise and crowd, this IS the place.
The gibson has the wow factor when you stay or just to use there facilities. The staff are so polite and helpful I didnt want to leave.
We stayed as we were goin to a concert in the 3arena. After the concert they had a fantastic dj playin in the bar great atmosphere and great selection of after concert nibbles
Didn't have far to walk after the concert
Heating in rooms was too hot
The hotel is on the Luas line so easy to get to. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good.
Everything about this hotel is super. Lovely friendly welcome.
The bedroom/bathroom facilities are lovely, very comfortable with a lovely shower. Hotel nice and quite, great nights sleep.
Hotel quite expensive, breakfast not included and for the price of our stay it should have been. Also the bar food menu selection was very poor however we ate in the restaurant which had a better selection but not great.
Location to 3!!
I booked the Gibson in May for €189 with no breakfast only to find out on the night the booking would have cost me €140 for the same booking.
our welcome was lovely. room very nice, warm, comfortable and clean. Will definitely use this hotel again. Very handy location. Thank you.
The waiting and bar staff not a bit friendly to us. We had lunch when we arrived and it was a big let down for the price. My food was cold and we would not eat here again. We were going to have dinner at the hotel but decided to venture elsewhere.
Stayed for one night during the Ed Sheeran concerts. Check in was fast and the staff were very friendly towards customers. The room was lovely and very spacious, will definitely be visiting again.
Design, indoor outdoor calm, ease of access to downtown.
food quality was meager at best,
The room was well designed, comfortable, clean and the balcony was great. The auto blinds gave total privacy and the shower was wonderful.
not much of a bother as we were staying one night only but there was nothing in the way of shops or restaurants anywhere near the hotel. The tram into Dublin was right at the front door so that helped. Don't think l would like to be out late at night, safety might be an issue.
poor quality of dinner and bar staff
location to the 3 arena, beautiful interior, comfortable room
Very busy in the bar before and after 3 Arena shows and very poor choice of food after the show that was completely overpriced
Convenience of being next to the tram and access for O'Connell St
Excellent location next to tram stop and Airlink bus stop; friendly, helpful staff; large, well equipped room; impressive, modern decor; great bar
Couple of niggles with the room - damaged lock on bathroom door and broken lamp. Otherwise excellent.
