Location friendly staff and great food
Lovely hotel in sligo City centre with parking. Great bar also
Bed was hard and uncomfortable
Wasn't value for money
The staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly, couldn't rate them highly enough. The food was delicious. We had a front corner room and the views of the river were amazing. I would stay again but I would request a proper full mattress rather than 2 single mattresses.
The large superking bed was actually two single mattresses together rather than one large mattress which is extremely uncomfortable for sleeping close to your partner. A romantic break means you want the closeness, the single mattress requires you to either sleep together on one mattress like a teenage couple in a single bed or you sleep apart on your own mattress because where the mattresses meet is always uncomfortable. Parking is €3 per day which I feel is an unnecessary charge as most hotels have complimentary parking.
The location is great for walking to restaurants and shops. There's a parking garage in the basement and once we parked we didn't use the car again until checking out of the hotel.
Too many colors. The carpet in hallways was much too busy.
Bar staff are excellent!
Room was comfortable and spacious with a lovely view of the river. Very relaxed about checkout no rush to be out before one
Great hotel good room with fantastic view over weir and Garavogue river. Bar food on first night most enjoyable but you'd have to go far to beat the breaky!
Not much to dislike lifts a bit strange - can't see both together so have to keep going between the two but it only a few steps really
prime location, excellent staff , very helpful , really good bar food quality and menu. Safe and secure parking. Gym for use not busy
restuarant menu was very sopsicticated I had to ask for different menu, steak was asked to be cooked "medium" was certainly well done. We were offered table water with our dinner to be charged €5. Nice bread was also given with the dinner, which the waitress just took midway thru eating it, I still had three slices left when she took it along with my plate I was using. This was only one little experience that was off putting
Everything! We booked accommodation only- as we knew we wouldn't be up in time for breakfast. As the hotel is in town we knew it would be no hassle finding a cafe later on
Nothing! Easy access to the hotel, easy car or king, efficient friendly staff& lovely room s and facilities.
the air that details were tended to.
first was strained on first impressions i thought initially that to reception was that warmth on such a cold was a stranger in town not the usual. I felt that this hotel had a policy of cold efficiency.
Hard to find with GPS. Sign outside not very clear when you arrive at night.
good location, staff friendly and helpful, room clean and comfortable, good food, enjoyed our stay.
Wonderful setting beside the river, central location, spacious bedroom, excellent staff.
Room was a bit cold when I returned at night. Radiator off and could not get hot air from the air conditioning to work.
The hotel was cold, we had to ask for heaters. We asked for a wheelchair accessible room and didn't get one. Breakfast was a buffet and looked good but was cold.
At the very last minute I had an emergency, the staff immediately said no problem at all , and I would not be charged for a cancelation. However I got someone else to go as I was supposed to be seeing Sheryl Crow. My friends said when they stayed everything was perfect, food, staff, very warm. I missed this, and am going to get around to staying at this beautiful hotel. Thank you for making life easier as I did have a horrible situation to deal with.
For me personally that I did not go to the Glasshouse and witness the nicest people ever. No negatives at all from the Glasshouse.
Location in centre of town
Decor was old and tired.
very relaxing place to stay and ideally located.
lovely hotel friendly staff great food
Beds very poor, creaked so loudly even just to sit on it, carpets stained, lots of young drunk people making noise in corridor at night. Breakfast very mediocre and had to ask for several items. Come on Glasshouse we need better than this for West Coast-check out Dublin hotels!!! At £134 for one night it was too much money for poor standards....sadly would never return!!!
right in center of town.very good bus service all around town.room big and bright.
Very friendly staff! And loved the location
The beds were hard
Very friendly and helpful staff Well appointed room Wifi The "help yourself" buffet breakfast. The quality of the food was excellent.
Although the car park is secure it is also open to non residents which made it difficult to find a space on a couple of occasions.
Great location. Rooms were luvly.
Staff werent trained sufficiently. Took three of them to sort out our bill for dinner. The bar man on sunday hadnt a clue what he was doing. Felt sorry for him.
Location and room views were excellent, food looked good and menu quite interesting (but we had booked elsewhere) it's right in the centre of town too, so you can choose where to go!
Noisy. River noise was comforting to me, but guest noise from corridors was bad. there is a second internal door which I would advise closing to reduce this.Sound carried quite a lot both form outside and from corridor.it wouldn't deter me from trying this hotel again as it was otherwise pleasant
