Location, value for money, breakfast good, late access. Clean confortable room. Very noisy from traffic on Gardiner St at first but got used to it. Slighty musty smell in dining room. |

early check in as room was available, 24 hour reception. Great location for shopping and sights the rooms were noisy, particularly above us who stomped around all night and early morning. |

That the location was very central. The rooms were a bit 'shoddy'. The room was noisy from the noise from the street and I think my room (in the basement) must have been next to the laundry?? I could hear (washing?) machines and people talking - the walls were so thin. |

Nice hotel in good location. Clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. We arrived 4 hours before check-in and staff very kindly allowed us straight into a room so we didn't have to walk around the city with our luggage or hang around waiting. Room quite small. Broken toilet seat. |

close to city centre, bus stop to airport outside front door, clean and comfortable, good value for money creaking floor boards in room above and stairs, a bit tatty/scruffy decor inside, the view from our window (the back of the house, dustbins etc.) |

The Glen was basic but clean and staff were very friendly. The room (in the annexe) was small but very nicely decorated, warm and cosy. The breakfast was great. There wasn't anywhere to put clothes away so it was really living out of a suitcase and the dining room is very small so we had to wait for a table at breakfast. |

Friendly and efficient staff; central location. Although on a busy road, the room itself was quiet. The breakfast, while adequate, was rather unvaried for a stay of more than a day or two. |

Friendly staff, good breakfast. The room we had was at the front of the hotel on the top floor so the noise from outside was quite high, also we found the room a little cold. |

Room was comfortable and breakfast was good and it was close enough to centre for night life but far enough away so as not to be bothered by noise late at night/early morning! Had to leave key at reception when going out & ring bell to get back in. |

Nice situation, closed to the main avenue of Dublin, and about 10-15min by walk to the Temple Bar district. Hotel very clean, nice room and bathroom. With a good and complete breakfast. Would have been perfect if the internet was free of charge. _ Hôtel calme, propre et bien situé, proche des points d'intérêts à pieds; personnel sympa et aidant si besoin d'infos ; Petit déj compris bon et copieux. Internet dispo mais il faut payer qq euros |

I had a room in the back extension which was fairly new and it was great to have the balcony. The breakfast was great and the staff always tried to do their very best for you. Booking The Glen Guesthouse on the internet and then being sent down the road to the 'sister' hotel The Maple Hotel. Really did not appreciate this as they were very unhelpful when checking in and asking why it had been done!! |

The Glen Guest House gave a good all round stay. It is not the ritz but if you want to go somewhere to crash at the end of a heavy day then this is the place for you. It is really handy to everything and the staff were very nice. The breakfast was spot on and your room was cleaned every day. Again this is not the Ritz but for the price and location and food and cleanliness then you it would take some beating! The room was a bit small but for all the time that we spent in the room it didn't really matter to us. It is a city break hotel . |

The rooms were comfortable and compact. Breakfast was also quite nice with some variety to choose. It was too far from other conveniences eg restaurants, and as I arrived late at night, I had no food till breakfast the next day. |
