The location was central to walking anywhere in the town centre. And was very convenient for getting to the airport. The staff was really helpful with whatever we needed.
We had a room in the newer building in the back. The room was very small with very little opportunity for air circulation and was totally soulless. Not a bit of decoration anywhere.
Close to city centre
Noise. No disability access, very warm.
The stay was comfortable, easily accessible and well located. The staff was cooperative, nice and hospitable.
The room area was congested, little storage space, Bathroom wash basin needs taps which mix hot and cold water. Shower spout should be removable and hand manipulated
Very good location with just a few minutes from shopping and Temple Bar. We ha rooms to a quiet backyard (except for a fan starting a bit early in the morning). Good balcony with two chairs,
very noisy breakfast room wiyh very little space between tables on on the tables, The backyard was not nice, and it would be nice to have a small table on the balcony.
I was in a newer part of the guesthouse which was very quiet made sleeping easy.
Windows very dirty on the outside due to the fluff from their laundry.
Convenience to City Centre
No air conditioning in bedrooms Traffic noise No lift
Outside door was kept locked but staff was always available to let us in. Lighting and beds were good and there was good places for suitcases. Breakfast was delicious and served quickly. Airport bus dropped us off right across street.
Room seemed chilly and we didn't have warm enough clothes. (A space heater was provided though.) Shower caulking was quite mildewed. Not much flexibility with breakfasts. I asked for fruit like another guest had but was told fruit didn't come with the full Irish breakfast.
Close to the bus to airport. Beds are comfortable, toilet / shower area sufficiently big and clean.
One of the two workers we met was pleasant. The other was not & came across as arrogant and generally unhelpful. There are two parts to the house & the area leading to the second / back house was very untidy & unfinished. While the bedroom was clean & sufficient we had to open the big sliding door to air the room at night. That's fine if the weather is good, but on a windy, wet night that is not possible.
The breakfast was just ok
wi fi breakfast warm and comfy room
Room was large enough!
Clean rooms, great location, friendly staff. The rooms were nice, building was old and outdated.
No elevators (had to lug luggage up multiple flights of stairs). No access to the building itself except by doorbell. If staff were busy when we came back, left waiting outside. Old building, but nice rooms.
Good location, free wi-fi, everything very basic, but clean. All in all good value for the money. Oh, and the bus to the airport stops just next door which is very convenient.

I would def recommend this hotel. My friend and I went for the weekend and got a room with a balcony. It was great, like being on hoi day, sitting outside havin a wee drink. Loved it, def be back and the beds were so comfy and shower great. Staff really friendly and great laugh
Location and price
Toilet didn't flush properly and cold tap wouldn't turn off without yanking it up. Bed was too soft.
The closeness to centre. The breakfast was excellent.
Bed not that comfortable. Only one thin pillow. Had to ask for an extra pillow to aid comfort
Room 31 adjacent to lift so noisy most of the night E292.56 for 2 nights at a guest house with no extra facilities is not good value
Great location; good breakfast (much better than we expected); general cleanliness; the staff in the breakfast room were extremely nice and helpful; the lift was new and big (it's very important when you are carrying heavy bags!); our room was very quiet.
No Wi-Fi (but we were aware of this when we booked); the shower drain and the waste outlet of the washbasin were exceedingly slow; there were a few stains in the shower tray and on the room carpet; the latch of the window door was broken and badly repaired.
location staff breakfast price
Friendly waitresses Water cooler in reception.
Noise from generator made it difficult to sleep. No double glazing to keep out noise from seagulls. Cooked breakfast was very limited on first morning.
Good location quiet friendly helpful staff
I stayed at the back block of the Glen Guest House so was away form the busy and noisy Lower Gardiner Street. Room spacious, en-suite toilet and tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast is included in room rate and there is plenty of choice to choose from.
decent size room, clean and quiet
Would have liked breakfast to start before 08.00
