Lovely location, friendly staff,lovely breakfast.
Walking in the beautiful Wicklow National Park The food at Glendalough Hotel
Room very small (but comfortable) No hair dryer (this was rectified by staff) TV in room does not appear to work
Location. Wonderful area to explore the Wicklow National Park.
Many day trippers.
I just loved the location. My room was extremely clean and I loved that. The staff were business like. The breakfast was really lovely. You have a lovely hotel.
I am allergic to down and feathers. Something in the room affected me but I came in too late and did not feel I could disturb staff. It was my own fault for not saying this when I booked so I blame no one. Therefore I did not have a good night.
Kitchen closes early
everything about this hotel and area is just wonderful had a lovely few days here. my first time staying here and i will be back to stay again lovely staff very pleasant and the surroundings just unbelievable
i liked everything
Location is excellent for nature, history and hiking. The receptionist ,Shauna, was so kind, helpful and charming.

Perfact Location, immediately opposite the monastery and nestled in fabulous valley for walks and cycling to the lakes. Great for weddings, tours, walks, hiking, etc.. Very clean and food generally very good.
The hotel is stuck in 1980's and needs modernising. WiFi is desparate, rooms are small, my bed was single with plastic cover, sheets and blankets, and very small. The sound proofing is not great either, and all windows did not open. Food was generally very good but overpriced.
This hotel is located in a lovely, tranquil valley, very close to the historic monastic settlement, hiking trails, and two picturesque lakes. The staff is friendly. There is a good restaurant and bar/pub. The hotel is large but doesn't feel crowded and has a relaxed feeling. The style is traditional and elegant.
The room was modestly sized.
The rooms were warm and clean. The nature trails for walking were amazing.
The food wasn't great!
The furnitures are outdated
Nice restaraunt with a lot of choice.
Not very personnel in terms of welcome
Location was fabulous, staff were so friendly and polite, service was excellent, would highly recommend and will definately stay again
Lovely relaxed hotel, very peacefull. Rooms spacious, great dinner in dinning area and really good value for the four course meal. Staff so friendly and couldn't do enough for anyone.
Lovely place just to chill
location, helpful and friendly staff though seemed to be completely disorganised, staff seemed to be rushing frenetically all over the place
Choice and quality of food in Bistro left a lot to be desired. We felt service and quality could have been better at minimal additional cost. Decor in bar/lounge could do with refurbishing.
The location is excellent for both long and short walks. The atmosphere was very relaxed and serene. Ideal for a relaxing break.
Nothing to not like.
Superb restaurant staff. Outstanding location. Charming, somewhat old-fashioned hotel decor. Ease of booking
Kitchen ventilator located just over the bedroom! Limited natural ventilation of the bedroom.
The peace and quiet
Quality of food
The location - loved this Glendalough is such a beautiful and peaceful place. Would reccommend the hotel to stay in purely due to its location.
We were an hour waiting for our main courses even though we had booked our meal. The waitress never even told us there would be a delay and did not inform us of same as we continued to wait. The hotel is very dated which I guess adds to its charm but after you flushed the toilet in our room it squeaked and made noises for 2-3 min. I felt €120 for us for the night was expensive for the service we received.
The Glendalough has old charm with a modern touch in gorgeous countryside, plus historic ruins of St. Kevin's sites. A must see, must stay.
Location....location...location...Beautiful place to use as a base to explore the fantastic surroundings..... Nice breakfast.... Friendly staff!
No Broadband in the rooms.
