The public rooms were lovely-like in one's own living room. This is where we accessed the free wifi. The hotel is very near the visitor center from which the walking trails begin. Beautiful peaceful setting.
All was good!
Our rooms were styled in modern country decor (except the tv) and it was the quietest sleep we'd had all month. The bathroom was spacious, shower was great and there was free parking. The full breakfast was sufficient and filling. Location was excellent. We did not eat dinner here. Despite the minor things in the "don't like" section, we'd definitely come back here again.
The WiFi is only available in the lobby so extending it to the rooms would be appreciated. Also, the breakfast service was very slow (and there were only 5 people in the restaurant) so that could be improved. Beds were a tad firm.
The location, the pub and restaurant, exterior of the building
Very small room, expensive compared to most places that were better. Old tv with one channel that cuts out.
Bar Food was very good
Breakfast was a bit disappointing. The selection was limited.
Friendly staff. Big thanks to Anna from Estonia!
staff very friendly
Hotel located at the heart of all that is required on your trip.
Beds would be better with duvets. No wifi in rooms is a bummer.
Everything excellent, great location,
Fantastic location! Our room had a great view and at night we could see deer grazing across the lawn which was so special! Food was delicious and the staff were always friendly even if under pressure. Enjoyed acoustic music from a local band in the newly renovated lounge. This hotel is nestled right beside the monastery and further on are the beautiful lakes. Highly recommend.
Under-staffed for busy hotel, friendly staff but slow service.
lovely setting, nice atmosphere, good food, good staff.
very good breakfast, but would have liked to be given a pot of coffee rather than have to call the waiting staff over,
our room was cold on our second night, also when we ran the water to take a bath the water was muddy!
The staff were very friendly which made it very relaxing .
The bar was closed due to renovation's
When we ordered our food, at the end of it we had to explain what we had for the bill, I think there should be a table number system or something, other than that we had a great stay, and we will be back
Newly remodeled room,friendly staff.
The friendliness of the staff and the delicious food.
Can't think of anything worth mentioning..
The food was superb,,,, the breakfast made to order and the pub grub really excellent,,,most of the staff were friendly and very welcoming,,,, the location is ideal for walkers or for just relaxing,,,, so peaceful there and great value at the moment
Nothing to dislike... maybe the address need not mention Laragh,,,, it was a small bit confusing,,,, better sign posting,,, but a minor detail,,,
Brilliant peaceful location
Fantastic location Nature lovers/Walker's dream
Lack of wifi was a huge problem, if they have problems, we should be inform at booking!

The entire hotel was dirty. Dust everywhere, very dated and unloved which is a great pity.
