The room, it was wonderful view.
The room was too cold
The Glendalaugh Hotel is perfectly situated in a beautiful part of the world, the landscape and views are truely inspiring. The region caters for countryside and wildelife lovers alike, the picturesque setting of this idyllic hotel complements the area perfectly. Looking forward to going back. The staff are fantastic.
The periodic noise from extractor fan in another room was a little anoying.
the decor and breakfasst
piped music in the lounge and , low lighting for reading

We looooved the location. We decided to stray from our itinerary of staying in Limerick for the day. Glendalogh was definitely the highlight of our travels to Ireland. The mountain hike was amazing. We have nothing but great things to say about the hotel and town.
location is abseloutely beautiful and couldn't be closer to Glendalough
Rooms are shabby, torn, lampshades, frayed and worn carpets, poor soundproofing, wifi only in downstairs and even then quite patchy.
The peace and quiet of the Hotel and the beautiful scenery.
All was great
The curtains in the room were old and torn, the carpet had alot of stains. The bedspread had stains. The hairdryer was useless. Shower curtain had mildew.
nice warm bedroom, good breakfast, a pleasant scenic hotel, plenty of walks and able to leave the car at hotel
evening meals not to our choice, when function room has function, not able to sleep until 1am as our room although on the 2nd floor to noisey, rest of time lovely
Locatiin was great. Food was brilliant and inexpensive for the quality.
Wifi signal in the room was poor. Room size was quite small.
Great location in Glendalough which is undoubtedly beautiful. The room was comfortable with a nice view. Breakfast was good with a generous selection available.
No wifi. Not the hotels fault but the whole Glendalough area was extremely busy and built up, and this was in October. The roads around the area were also very busy on the Sunday with lots of visitors, probably from Dublin (on the monday however it was practically empty which was much nicer).
We had a great stay! Friendly staff and good food in the restaurant. Location is perfect for thos interested in Irish history and for walking in the mountains. Ireland is more than Dublin! The Wicklows is a must-visit when you're in Ireland! We will return!
- hiking and countryside views were great - food was very good
Most incredible location. If you want to visit Glendalough, this is where to stay. Get out at dawn before anyone else gets there and have this beautiful place to yourself. Its magical.
Hotel a little chilly first thing in the morning, and decor rather dated.
